INSTRUCTIONS TO UMPIRES
UMPIRES MUST BE ON THE GROUND READY FOR DUTY AT 2-15 pm
(6-35 pm for Evening matches)
The Roller must be removed at 2-15 pm. (6-35 pm in Evening matches) and pitch must not be rolled again after that time, unless start be delayed by weather, and with the exception of the interval.
Umpires are required to take due notice of Rules 6, 7, 8, 9, and14 and that for season 1952 the duly appointed Umpire's Secretary is A E RIDING, 19 REGENT ROAD, LEYLAND LANCS, to whom all correspondence pertaing to Umpire appointments should be addressed.
Umpire's Report Cards, which are provided, must be duly filled in and signed by the two Umpires and posted to the Hon League Secretary as soon as possible after the conclusion of the match
