The Northern Cricket League enters into the 15th round of the competition this weekend, as the race for The Northern Cricket League Division One title heats up.
DIVISION ONE:
As it stands Morecambe,Darwen,Blackpool and Fleetwood are in the running, with Chorley also with an opportunity to win the prize at the end of the season.
Morecambe lead the way at the top with 133 points, five points clear of Darwen in second place and seven clear of Blackpool and Fleetwood in third on 126 points.
The leaders are looking to keep clear of the pack when they host an inform Netherfield at Woodhill Lane.. Netherfield were left kicking themselves after losing to Blackpool last weekend, however their form has really picked up as they now find themselves 8th in the Division. It will certainly be a key battle with the bowling as Morecambe's professional Suraj Randiv and Eddie Read go up against Mark Clarkson of Netherfield.
In the other games, Blackpool make the trip to play Penrith, Blackpool gaining some momentum and in good form, whilst Penrith will also fancy their chances after the demolition of Preston last Sunday.
Fleetwood host Kendal, with Fleetwood eager to push on at the top against an inconsistent Kendal side.
entertain Leyland wirh both sides looking to gain some good form, whilst the game of the afternoon sees inform Chorley go head to head with Darwen. Both sides have really made a challenge for the title. A result for either will be pivotal come the end of the season.
The final game is the two struggling teams St Annes host bottom of the table Preston at Vernon Road.

DIVISION TWO:
St Annes will be looking to remain top as Netherfield will be keen to bounce back.
Division Two is also proving to be close as St Annes, Netherfield and Leyland fight it out for the title.
St Annes are away to Preston, with Netherfield hosting Morecambe and Leyland entertaining Barrow.
The other games are Kendal against Fleetwood at Shap Road, whilst Chorley host Darwen.
SUNDAY
It's the last 16 of the Lancashire Knockout as Blackpool host Walsden and Darwen travel to face Burnley.
TWP Wealth Twenty/20 Final
Unfortunately, Blackpool CC and Darwen CC have both withdrawn from the Finals Day.
As runners up in both groups have both been asked to replace them and felt it wouldn't be correct, there will be a final played Lancaster CC v Netherfield CC at 2 pm.
The winners of this game will go on to represent the League in the regional final on Sunday 2nd August not now hosted by Central Lancashire League, as they have withdrawn, but by the winners of Liverpool Competition.
The regional final will now be between NPL , Bolton League and the Liverpool Competiton
