Its the last weekend of the season, as the Northern Cricket League campaign comes to an end for another summer. With Blackpool winning the league last Saturday and with Leyland 2nds winning Division Two a few weeks ago theirs nothing really to play for apart from League placings.
DIVISION ONE:
The game of the afternoon is at Stanley Park as newly crowned League Champions Blackpool host 3rd placed Darwen. Blackpool looking to end a succesful season in style, whilst Darwen will be keen to finish the season on a high. Both sides will be without their Professionals as both Christi Viljeon and Darwens George Linde have gone home
At Ernest Pass Barrow host Morecambe after having last weekend off. Lancaster play two games this weekend as they host Penrith on Saturday before entertaining the Lancashire Colts on Sunday.
Netherfield host 2nd placed and former League title holders Leyland,Preston entertain Fleetwood and St Annes host Kendal.
Chorley first team finished their season last weekend
Next saturday 20th September Preston play the Lancashire Colts in their last match in the Chorley Building Society Northern Premier League starting at 12-00 noon
DIVISION TWO:
Darwen host Blackpool,Fleetwood play two games over the weekend as they host Chorley on Saturday before entertaining Preston on Sunday both games to be played at Chorley CC. Kendal host St Annes, Leyland entertain Netherfield and Penrith host Lancaster.
