Barrow who lost the toss were asked to bat and they closed on 159-6. Sam Dutton scoring a century hitting 100 off 58 balls. Kendal's New Zealand Professional Jamie How, returning figures of 4-18. In reply, Kendal knocked the runs off in 17.4 overs, Jamie How setting the team off with a quick fire 37 off 17 balls, before Terry Hunte dominated the innings with an unbeaten 78 off 48 balls. Scorecard Penrith Panthers v Kendal Cavaliers: Kendal go top of the North 1 group after a 5 wicket win at Penrith on Friday night. Stu Parkin had figures of 4-7 as Penrith were restricted to 103-8. Nicky Burns the top scorer for the hosts with 41 off 48 balls. In reply Kendal got off to a bad start losing 3 quick wickets before Terry Huntes 37 off 35 balls and Graham Bakers 26 off 41 balls steadied the ship. With Richard Herron (10) and Nick Lewthwaite (5), seeing Kendal home in 18.2 overs as they closed on 104-5. Scorecard NORTH 2 Group: Both Preston and Lancaster are locked on 2 points at the top of The North 2 group. Preston v Lancaster: Lancaster won by 6 wickets at Preston on Wednesday night. Preston were restricted to 113-6. Liam Moffat returning with figures of 3-26. In reply Michael Barry's unbeaten 50 as well as Dylan Conroys unbeaten 22 guided Ben Simm's team home in 18.4 overs as they closed on 114-4 Scorecard SOUTH 1 Group: The South 1 group remains very close as Blackpool, Fleetwood and St Annes are all locked on 2 points each. Blackpool v Fleetwood: Blackpool defeated Fleetwood by 30 runs at Stanley Park on Tuesday night. The hosts closing on 127 for 7 off 20. Namibian Professional Christi Viljeon hitting a top scoring 62 off 56 balls. In reply Fleetwood were bowled out in 18.4 overs for 97. Chorley v Leyland: Leyland defeated Chorley by 4 runs on Friday night at Windsor Park, 39 off 37 by Daniel Lamb and 36 off 49 by Nathan McDonnell helped Leyland to 130-6.
