Kendal Cavaliers v Penrith Panthers
Kendal Cavaliers rounded off their Twenty-20 campaign with a 5 wicket win over Penrith Panthers.Both sides still fielded a strong team despite their being nothing on the game.
Penrith batting first struggled as they closed on 129-8. Ryan Carruthers looked in good touch for a top scoring 41 off 25 balls, whilst Alex Atkinson hit a quick fire 31 off 16 balls.
Kendal bowled well, with Chris Miller the pick of the bowlers returning figures of 3-20.
In reply Kendal got off to a quick start as they raced to 88, before Paul Dodds was caught by Tony Threlked off the bowling of Paul Hindmarch for 16.
However Jamie How was in relentless form as he hit a stunning 83 off 83 balls taking the score to 109, with How finally being dismissed by Ryan Carruthers with Ben Davidson on hand taking the catch
Penrith offered a mini revival as Ryan Shepherd, Gary Baker and Darren Braithwaite all fell cheaply, However at that stage Kendal were close to their victory target as Darren Nightingale hit a boundary for the win which sees Kendal finish 2nd in the group, whilst Penrith sit at the bottom.
Netherfield Nitros v Barrow Bulldogs:
Group winners Netherfield suffered a surprise 2 run defeat to a second string Barrow team at Parkside Road on Friday night. Barrow put themselves in from the toss as they closed on a below par score of 121-7. Greg Reynolds the main run scorer with 31.
Netherfield's Nathan Chambers and Stuart Dixon and Saliya Saman with 2 wickets apiece.
In reply Netherfield were restricted to 119-7, Greg Reynolds, Ryan Gilmour and Kaustaubh Pawar with 2 wickets apiece, with Sam Henderson taking 1 wicket.

Lancaster seal qualification for Twenty-20 Finals Day.
Morecambe v Lancaster:
Morecambe Professional Kelly Smuts hit an unbeaten 93 as Tommy Clough's team defeated Lancaster by 37 runs at Woodhill Lane on Tuesday night.

Lancaster sealed qualification for Twenty-20 Finals Day with a 5 wicket win over Preston at Lune Road on Friday Night. Preston were restricted to a below par 97-8. Liam Moffat and Alex Metcalfe, with 2 wickets each,
In reply Michael Barry's top scoring 52, guided the hosts home in 19.4 overs to 101-5, Preston's Sarfarz Navaz Patel had figures of 3-4.
SOUTH 1 Group:
Blackpool through to the Finals Day.
Fleetwood v Blackpool:
Blackpool booked their place for Finals Day following a 11 run win at Fleetwood. Blackpool were restricted to 125-9, Fleetwood's Sub Professional Daryn Smit with figures of 3-10.
Fleetwood could only manage 114-8 in reply.Christi Viljeon taking 2 wickets
Blackpool v St Annes:
Blackpool comfortably defeated St Annes by 8 wickets in a low scoring contest at Stanley Park. St Annes were restricted to 87-5. Richard Gleeson and Steven Mercer with 2 wickets each.
In reply Blackpool knocked the runs off in 16 overs, closing on 87-2. Christi Viljeon with 27 and Matthew Houston with an unbeaten 17.
St Annes v Fleetwood:
J P De Villiers ( 78 from 62 deliveries with 5 fours and 5 sixes). and Naveed Youssaf (68 from 39 deliveries, 5 fours and 6 sixes) put on 135 for the 2nd wicket in only 15 overs as Fleetwood defeated St Annes by 16 runs
Fleetwood reached 176-5 in their 20 overs. St Annes made a great effort but were bowled out for 160 with Adam Holt with 31 andNaveed Yousaf taking 3 wickets for Fleetwood

Darwen through but only just.
Leyland v Chorley:
Leyland just missed out on Finals Day despite defeating Chorley by 1 wicket. Leyland required 160 runs from 13 overs to qualify but just missed out.
