CHORLEY v LANCASHIRE COLTS
Lancashire Colts progressed to the next round of the Readers Cup, after defeating Chorley by 123 runs
The Colts batting first closed on 189-8. Matthew Critchley top scoring with 56 off 36 balls, whilst Josh Bohannon had 42 off 58 balls.
In reply Chorley were all out in 30.4 overs for 66. Callum Parkinson returning figures of 5-11.
DARWEN v FLEETWOOD:
Darwen advanced to the next round of The Readers Cup with a 45 run win over Fleetwood.
The hosts closing on 181-9 off 40 overs, Chris Wade (27) and Kamran Anwar (25) the highest scorers.
Stand in Skipper John Cordingley returning figures of 5-31 as Fleetwood were bowled out in their reply for 136 in 33.3 overs. Adam Sharrocks top scoring with 43.
LANCASTER v NETHERFIELD:
Netherfield defeated Lancaster by 7 wickets at Lune Road. Lancaster set an imposing total of 202-5 off 40 overs. Michael Barry with 76 runs and Charlie Swarbrick with 73 runs.
In reply Professional Saliya Saman hit an unbeaten 98 for Netherfield as they knocked the runs off in 38.2 overs closing on 205-3. Ben Barrow also contributing with 40 runs.
LEYLAND v PENRITH:
Leyland overcame Penrith by 8 wickets. 3-27 by Andrew Makinson bowling Penrith out for 122 in 38.3 overs.
Luis Reeces 43 and Danny Lambs 32 easing the hosts home in 23.3 overs closing on 123-2.
BLACKPOOL v MORECAMBE:
Blackpool make it through with a 13 run win over Morecambe. Richard Gleeson with 94 as Blackpool close on 207-4.
Morecambe fall just short on 194-7,Joshua Boyne with 3-29. Ikram Ullah with 68 for Tommy Clough's team
KENDAL v PRESTON:
Jamie How hit a sensational 150 not out off 82 balls as Preston were defeated by 131 runs at Shap Road.
How's knock included 10 fours and 11 sixties hitting a half century in just 26 balls. The New Zealander then reaching his hundred off 69 balls before reaching 150 13 balls later.
Kendal finished with a dominating total of 267-6.
Preston were all out for 136, Chris Miller with 3-38 and Nick Lewthwaite with 3-22. Preston battled gamely with Yasin Patel hitting 38 off 59 balls,
DIVISION TWO:
FLEETWOOD v DARWEN
Fleetwood defeated Darwen by 24 runs. The hosts all out for 183, Alex Ryder with 48. Ronald Nairey returning figures of 4-47 for the visitors.
Darwen fall short on 159-7. Kieran McCann had figures of 4-33. John Painter the top scorer with 67.
MORECAMBE v BLACKPOOL:
Blackpool are through to the next round with a 3 wicket win at Morecambe. Morecambe closing on 165-4. Blackpool finishing on 166-7.
PENRITH v LEYLAND
Leyland Skipper Ian Farrington hit a top scoring 102 off 77 balls as Leyland put on a massive 321-3, in their 206 run win at Penrith. Tom Reece (59) and Sam Oldham 57 also making runs.
Penrith closed on 115-8, Mark Osborne with an unbeaten 52. Sam Oldham returning figures of 4-10 for the visitors.
