Division 1
Blackpool take on Lancaster at Stanley Park with contrasting fortunes last weekend. Blackpool gained ground on the leading teams due to their 15 point victory over Barrow, Professional Christi Viljeon taking 7-26 to bring his wickets total to 18. With all that is happening at Lune Road they will go into their game with hopes high for a positive result
In contrast Lancaster have had problems on and off the field and as Lancaster teams of the past have done they are working hard to put things right and should not be under estimated this weekend
Penrith travel to Broadwater in their first season of learing what the league is about and will be looking for their second victory.
Fleetwood's professional Jean De Villiers as started well for them scoring 284 runs (including 101) and taken 22 wickts and will be looking to improve his figures this weekend
Kendal entertain last season's champions and with two wins so far with Chris Miller taking 13 wickets and will hoping to continue to progress up the league table.
Leyland were the winners last weekend having no match and only Blackpool gained any advantage. Their Overseas Amateur Alex Ross has scored 193 runs and Tayyab Afsar their leading wicket taker with 13
Morecambe have Chorley at Woodhill Lane and will be looking for improvement on the season so far only a losing draw to show for their efforts
Chorley have had two 15 point wins and two matches abandoned so will be going into saturdays match with a positive attitude. On Sunday they entertain the Lancashire Colts at Windsor Park
Preston go to Netherfield looking for their first win, they are the club with the most bonus points but need to turn runs and wickets into victories.
Nethefield haave not had the best of starts to the season with only one win so far but will be looking to turn their season round agaist Preston
St Annes have Barrow at Vernon Road and be looking for their young side to show their talent over Barrow who will want to fight back after their defeat against Blackpool last Satuday. Captain Daryl Wearing will be leading from the front with his 15 wickets
Division 2
Netherfield top the league and will be going to Preston favorites to win the game
Preston have had a poor start to the season but will still go out and give 100%
Second placed Leyland 6points behind the leaders with a game in hand travel to Kendal who have two wins themselves so this will not be an easy fixture
Chorley at home to Morecambe and will be keen to keep up the pessure on the leading two. Morecambe have 20 bonus points but need to change the draws into victories
Blackpool take on Lancaster at Lune Road looking to add another win and Lancaster will be making every effort to improve on what has been a poor season
St Annes are at Barrow with both sides going for the win and Penrith entertain Fleetwood
