A Message from the Lancashire Cricket Board
The LCB think it is useful to issue a note of caution and vigilance to all cricket clubs in the County on their security, as recently 3 Clubs in the county seem to have been targeted in almost carbon-copy break-ins.
This has resulted in thieves smashing doors down and causing lots of damage, leaving them with major headaches ahead of the new cricket season.
The clubs were in slightly secluded areas and had valuable machinery stolen. We realise it's never a good time so wanted to urge clubs to be extra vigilant over the coming weeks.
There was a similar note via our website in November 2012: Timely Reminder for Cricket Clubs.
