Sorry for the lateness of my Weekend Previews of late, prior commitments have made it hard for me to do these in advance. I will be back next week with more indepth information.
DIVISION ONE
For this weekend, their are some key games, although the British weather is seemingly coming back to haunt the Northern League especially for Saturdays games.
In Division 1 Barrow are still at the top of the division and they face a potentially tricky tie at Netherfield who despite their struggles do possess players who can cause the leaders problems.
In the other games Leyland travel to Kendal, David Makinsons team will be without Luis Reece who is playing for Lancashire.
Kendal are still without Alex Doolan as Brad Moses deputises for the weekend
Darwen entertain St Annes, Lancaster host Preston, and Morecambe entertain Fleetwood.
Chorley play host to Blackpool on Saturday before playing the Lancashire Colts on the Sunday.
Sunday also sees some teams compete in the Readers Cup as Netherfield host Darwen, whilst St Annes entertain Blackpool.
DIVISION TWO
It's tight at the top in Division Two, with Barrow, St Annes, Darwen and Morecambe all fighting it out for the league title.
You could also make a case for either Chorley or Leyland for the league who are in touch with the top 4.
Leyland the league holders are always a threat, and Chorley are a difficult team to play against.
On Sunday there are two Readers Cup games, Darwen host Netherfield, whilst Blackpool entertain St Annes.
