Readers Cup action from last week between Kendal and Preston |
Barrow host Leyland in the game of the day, on what is an important weekend in The Northern Cricket League.
Leyland travel to Ernest Pass in good form after their high scoring win at St Annes, whilst Barrow are back in action after having last weekend off.
A win for Leyland would open it up at the top, whilst victory for Barrow would further cement their league placing at the top of the division.
Title contenders Fleetwood and Netherfield are also in action with Fleetwood playing host to an inform Chorley, whilst Netherfield make the trip to play defending champions St Annes at Vernon Road.
Also keep a look out for Kendal, as they host Carnforth at Shap Road, Kendal are closing in on the title contenders after getting themselves on a good run of form.
In the other games, Lancaster host Darwen at Lune Road, whilst Morecambe will be hoping to play after 3 weeks worth of postponements, when they host Preston at Woodhill Lane.
Division 2 is also turning out to be an interesting battle as the top two play each other with Leyland hosting Barrow.
Barrow dropped to 2nd in the league after Leyland's winning draw with St Annes last weekend.
Also keep a look out for Chorley who sit 3rd as they play host to Fleetwood
