THE LEWIS TOMLINSON INTERVIEW

Bulcock Ready For The Test

Tony Bulcock in action

New Carnforth professional Toby Bulcock is ready for the test in the Northern League, he was the professional at Elton for two seasons in the Bolton And District League.

When I asked Bulcock if he is looking forward to meeting his new team mates he replied:

"Well I have met most of the lads at club functions and speak with a few of them each week, So I think I am just like everybody else, looking forward to the summer ahead and hoping to fit into the side well and meet some great new people as well as perform as a team and personally."

When asked if he is looking forward to it he said:

"Absolutely I have friends playing for many sides in the league and I am keen to play in one of the best leagues with some of the best pitches"

Bulcock who is a former Lancashire under 19 captain also had this to say when I asked him about his feelings when he got the call from Carnforth:

"Well I was keen to play in the Northern League from word go I had a few offers in the league and was excited at first then once I had signed I was desperate to get out to Australia to work on a few different aspects of my game and hopefully those little tweaks can come to fruition this season.

Only time will tell but I certainly like the idea of a challenge and what better way to test or prove yourself than in premier cricket"
