Shaun Liebisch celebrates a half century |
Having being named as the new Fleetwood Professional for the upcoming season, Liebisch has said that he is relishing the challenge of playing in the Northern League, when I asked him how he felt he said:
"I'm very excited to join the Northern League I've heard many good things about the standard of cricket up north and I'm looking forward to challenging my own skills."
The South African All Rounder who plays first class cricket for Easterns in the same team, as new Netherfield pro JJ Pienaar has set his targets and ambitions for his arrival at Broadwater,
When asked about what he is hoping to add to the club he replied:
"As far as Fleetwood CC is concerned, I'm looking to help the club reach full potential and maybe get a trend going for the club to develop a winning nature. I enjoy seeing all the talent and I'm hoping to work with some of the players and expand their games."
When asked to some up his feeling after signing the contract Liebisch said:
"Excitement is probably the word best describes the emotion at the moment. New place, new league, new challenges"
Shaun Liebisch first game for Matt Clark's side will be when they travel to Windsor Park to face Andy Holdsworth's strong Chorley side on the 14th of April.
