The battle for the league continues, on what could be another pivotal weekend of Northern League Action.
DIVISION 1:
League leaders Fleetwood host Leyland in the game of the day, a crucial fixture for both teams. Leyland are still in the hunt for the league, but know that if they are to make a serious impact a result at the league leaders is a must
Fleetwood are playing well, a big win at Kendal last week kept them on the top of the league ladder. Adam Parker with a 5 wicket haul and an unbeaten 74 the highlight of the teams performance.
For Mat Clark's team they will be keen to build a lead on the rest, and victory over one of their title rivals would come as a massive boost for the Broadwater outfit.
In the other games second placed Barrow face a difficult away trip to Darwen. Barrow bounced back with a comfortable victory over Chorley, a result which saw them go 2nd and sit just a point beind the leaders.
Netherfield will be keen to bounce back from the setback at Preston when they travel to play Carnforth, whilst Kendal have Morecambe in the league on the Saturday before playing them at Woodhill Lane on the Sunday in The Readers Cup.
Blackpool host Preston, Chorley play host to Lancaster, whilst St Annes have the weekend off
Its the Readers Cup on Sunday, as Darwen host The Lancashire Colt's and Barrow travel to Fleetwood.
DIVISION 2
In Division 2 Barrow will be keen to extend their lead at the top when they host Darwen, Netherfeld will be keen to close the gap in their home game against Carnforth.
For the rest, Preston play Blackpool, Lancaster v Chorley, Leyland v Fleetwood, Morecambe v Kendal.
