Review for 19th and 20th May
Barrow have a chance to further extend their lead at the top as they face 2 games in 2 days, on Saturday they travel to play Preston at West Cliff, whilst on Sunday they entertain the Lancashire Colts at Ernest Pass
Chris D'lenys team have been in great form, and have done it without a full time professional. Ironically Shannon Gabriel who was meant to be their pro, is now playing for the West Indies in the first test against England.
That aside, Barrow face 2 difficult games against two very good teams that have had a good start to the season
Preston are coming off a big win over St Annes whilst the Lancashire Colts have beaten the likes of Darwen and Lancaster
In the other games, Blackpool host Kendal at Stanley Park, whilst Morecambe play Leyland at Woodhill Lane.
St Annes still looking for some form travel to play Lancaster, whilst Carnforth host Chorley and Darwen play Fleetwood
For Netherfield its their turn to have the weekend off and will be hoping that results go in their favour at the top end of the league
In Division 2, its good news all round for Barrow as their 2nd team currently top the Division 2.
Barrow will be looking for a home victory over Prestons 2nds at Ernest Pass.
Theirs a cluster of teams fighting it out at the top, as the likes of Chorley, and St Annes will be looking to make up ground
On Sunday theirs a couple of National Knockout encounters as Kendal host Garstang, whilst Blackpool travel to Fulwood and Broughton.
The Twenty 20's are also underway as Carnforth host Lancaster on Tuesday night
