BARROW SIGN PRO Barrow have signed West Indian Fast Bowler Shannon Gabriel as their new pro for 2012 Shannon Gabriel Shannon Gabriel is a promising fast bowler from Trinidad & Tobago. He was among the 15 youngsters picked as the first batch at the Sagicor High Performance Centre when the WICB launched the initiative in 2010. He has since gone on to become a key member of T&T's first-class attack. His selection for the Champions League T20 in 2011 was a bit of a surprise as T&T's hadn't used him much for their limited-overs matches. The club have also signed,Ryan Brown from Millom another Cumberland County player, as well as Nicky Burns from Penrith, and Darren Colin from Keswick who played with Current Barrow skipper Chris D'leny. George Smith has also signed up,an exciting young prospect that has played at Junior County level.
