Hornby Pleased With Capture
Adam Hornby |
Carnforth skipper Adam Hornby is pleased with the capture of former Lancashire under 19 captain Toby Bulcock as new professional.
When I asked Adam what he's hoping Bulock will bring to the side he said:
"We're hoping he'll bring a new approach to training and to Saturday's.
Once Gareth had told us he was not going to be with us again this year we decide to try and bring in someone with the ability to get the wickets Gareth got but also someone with a few ideas and not afraid to let them known and I think Toby's that person."
When I asked Hornby what his targets are for this season he replied:
"I'm realistic in the fact that for us success again this year would be a progression from last year which would be to finish above tenth maybe even top eight and with more points again than last year. Also to integrate one or two of the good juniors coming through into the senior squads. But as you've said gareth's boots will be hard to fill."
You will be able to see Adam Hornby and Toby Bulcock in action when they face Clifton in the National Knockout on the 8th of April.
