St Annes will once again host a Lancashire
Second XI fixture in the 2011 season after the County
announced their schedule on their official website:

Lancashire Second XI will entertain Durham in a
three-day Second Eleven Championship game beginning on
Wednesday 17 August 2011.
In 2010 St Annes hosted the SEC game between
Lancashire and MCC Young Professionals. The LCB Lancashire
Knock-Out Cup Final will again be held at St Annes at the end
of the season. In the 2010 final Farnworth defeated Denton St
Lawrence in a low-scoring game.
Blackpool CC's Stanley Park ground returns to
the first-class fixture roster when Lancashire entertain
Worcestershire in a four-day LV= County Championship Division
One game in 2011. But to the disappointment of cricket
followers on the Fylde Coast the game clashes with that at St
Annes, being scheduled to start on Wednesday 17 August.

Meanwhile Barrow CC will again host a three-day
Cumberland fixture in the Minor Counties Championship.
Cumberland entertain Northumberland in their
sixth and final three-day Championship game of the season at
the Ernest Pass Memorial Ground starting on Sunday 21st August
2011.
Barrow and county officials will be hoping for
better fortune than in 2010 when the three-day fixture against
Cambridgeshire was abandoned without a ball being bowled.
Cumberland will also stage home Championship
games at Furness CC (against Buckinghamshire beginning on
Sunday 12 June) and at Sedbergh School (against Bedfordshire
beginning on Sunday 10 July).
Netherfield CC will host the county for an MCCA
Trophy Group A match against Shropshire on Sunday 5 June. The
county's other home group match is against Staffordshire at
Penrith CC on 15 May.
