The double programme in the Furness Building Society Northern Premier Cricket League (incorporating Readers Cricket Balls) over the August Bank Holiday weekend heralds the start of the run-in to the end of the season.
Just four rounds of league fixtures remain and from this Saturday the start times in all league games are brought forward to 12.30pm.
One leaders St Annes (played 21-218pts) are at Blackpool on Saturday and home to Carnforth on Monday.
St Annes pro Dinuka Hettiarachchi will not be returning before the end of the season after he returned home to Sri Lanka for the birth of his third child. Dinuk will be back at Vernon Road next season.
St Annes have engaged deputy pros in his place with Muhammad Hasnain playing at Stanley Park and Qaiser Abbas the Todmorden pro in action on Monday.
Leyland (21-200) are 18pts behind; David Makinson's side are at home to fourth-placed Netherfield on Saturday and travel to play Barrow on Monday.

Third-placed Chorley (21-185) travel to play Fleetwood and Darwen.
On Sunday Carnforth host the Colts at Lodge Quarry and Kendal bid for glory in the Barbados Cockspur ECB National T20 when they host Hyde CC at Shap Road.
The winners will qualify for finals day at Chelmsford on Monday 19 September, screened live on Sky Sports.
In Division Two Leyland (20-233) have a 20pt lead over Chorley (20-213) with four games remaining. Blackpool (20-211) are in third place.
