Five Northern League cricketers are in the Cumberland County side for the opening MCCA Trophy Group One game against Cheshire at Neston Cricket Club on Sunday 1 May (11am start).
Blackpool fast bowler Richard Gleeson makes his County one day debut after impressing on his Championship debut against Suffolk at Sedbergh School last August.

Netherfield batsman Alex Atkinson and Kendal's new opening batsman Jonathan Miles, formerly of Barrow are becoming regulars in the County set-up. Both batsmen made their maiden Championship hundreds in 2010.
Barrow opening bowler and middle order batsman Graham Dawson and Morecambe wicketkeeper/ batsman Ikram Ullah, both experienced Minor Counties cricketers complete the quintet.

Captained by former Durham CCC batsman Gary Pratt, now pro for Bishop Auckland, the rest of the side includes former Durham opener James Lowe (Middlesbrough) and allrounders Martyn Evans (New Brighton) and James Beaumont (Stokesley).
Bradford League players Chris Thompson (Bradford & Bingley) and James Smith (Pudsey St Lawrence) complete the side.
Cumberland complete their group games against Staffordshire at Penrith (15 May), Northumberland at Jesmond (29 May) and Shropshire at Netherfield (5 June).
A reminder that Barrow CC stage Cumberland's three day Championship fixture against Northumberland beginning on Sunday 21 August.
