On Sunday Lancashire Colts make their bow in the Readers Cup with their first round tie at Fleetwood. Cup holders Darwen visit Leyland in the tie of the round.
Six Northern League cricketers vie for Lord's cup glory when they play for Cumberland in their MCCA Trophy Quarter-final against Herefordshire at Brockhaampton on Sunday.
Liam Livingstone and Graham Dawson (Barrow), Chris Williams and Ikram Ullah (Morecambe), Alex Atkinson (Netherfield) and Jon Miles (Kendal) are all included in the Cumberland side.
Victory would earn Cumberland a semi-final away at either Berkshire or Wales MC with the final scheduled for Lord's Cricket Ground in August.
