Leaders Leyland visit Darwen
Four clubs in ECB National Club Championship ties on Sunday

Morecambe's Ikram Ullah made a century for Cumberland

The Furness Building Society Northern Premier Cricket League (incorporating Readers Cricket Balls) reaches the halfway point of the season this Saturday (26 June).

Leaders Leyland (played 12-139pts), with 10 wins from 12 games travel to sixth-placed Darwen with a 23-point advantage over Barrow (12-116), who moved into second after successive 12-point wins over Chorley and Lancashire Colts last weekend. Barrow, who have won six of their last seven games are at Preston. Defending champions St Annes (11-115) are at Fleetwood while fourth-placed Blackpool (12-113) entertain Morecambe (11-99). Morecambe welcome back pro Mandla Mashimbyi after his return from South Africa.

Chorley are at home to Netherfield while Lancaster host Carnforth.
On Sunday Kendal play Lancashire Colts at Shap Road.

Chorley took over the leadership of Division Two last weekend and take a four-match winning run into their game at Netherfield. The situation at the top is tight with just eight points separating Chorley, Leyland, Darwen and Blackpool.

On Sunday four of our sides are in action in the ECB National Club Competition which has now reached the third round stage. St Annes visit Liverpool Competition side Ormskirk and Darwen are at Bolton League outfit Farnworth. Blackpool are at home to Northern from the Liverpool Competition and Morecambe entertain Saddleworth League champions Bamford Fieldhouse.
