Leaders Leyland face Fleetwood

Leaders Leyland take a six-match winning start into their home league game against Fleetwood at Fox Lane on Saturday. Professional Brett Pelser has hit 206 runs without being dismissed in the last two games and took Leyland to victory over Lancaster last weekend in partnership with Chris Parkinson who hit 75 not out.

Reigning champions St Annes visit Carnforth eager to make up a 15-point gap on Leyland. Atiq Uz-Zaman, who again leads the league's batting averages will be keen to do well against his former club. In the corresponding fixture last year Carnforth were bowled out 40 at Lodge Quarry but opener Ryan Nelson is in consistent form and made a fine 110 against Westhoughton last Sunday in the ECB National Knock-Out.

Third-placed Morecambe play Barrow at Woodhill Lane with their pre-season recruits Chris Williams and Reg Cupit settling in nicely and teenagers Ryan Smith and Alex Thistlethwaite making the most of their first-team opportunities.
At Stanley Park Blackpool hope to extend a three-match winning sequence against Ross McMillan's Kendal.
Lancashire Colts visit Windsor Park to play Chorley in their fourth game of an inaugural season in the league.
Netherfield take on Preston at Parkside Road with the visitors' all rounder Lukman Vahaluwala in top form. Darwen's consistent professional Mohammad Zaman Khan will spearhead his side's challenge against a Lancaster side buoyed by an outstanding win at Bolton League champions Farnworth SC in the ECB National Knock-Out.
Tim Barry has started bowling again to add to skipper Mike Stevens' options.
In Division Two three games are postponed due to Blackpool FC's appearance in the play-off final at Wembley and will be rearranged for later in the season. With second placed Leyland kicking their heels early season leaders Darwen will be looking to extend their six-point advantage at the top when they visit reigning champions Lancaster.
On Sunday Cumberland play their fourth and final MCCA Trophy tie of the season when they host Cheshire at Netherfield. The 50 over game starts at 11am.
Next week Blackpool host Lancashire Second XI for four days starting on Tuesday 25 May when they play Warwickshire in a Second Eleven Trophy game starting at 11am.
The three day Second Eleven Championship game against Warwickshire starts on Wednesday 26 May (11am).
