Carnforth's opening batsman Ryan Nelson has been selected for his Minor Counties debut with Cumberland.
The highly-rated left-handed batsman has earned reward for a fine season with the Lodge Quarry outfit.
Nelson has scored 477 runs at an average of 43.36 in league games so far this season.
He also boasted the highest score in the league, an unbeaten 126 against Morecambe, until last Saturday when Darwen pro David Wiese hit 128 at Blackpool.
Nelson lines up alongside three Barrow CC players as Cumberland take on Lincolnshire at Carlisle CC's Edenside ground in a three-day game starting on Sunday 9 August (11am).

Barrow skipper Daryl Wearing and opening bat Jon Miles are joined by wicket-keeper Chris D'Leny who makes his first Cumberland appearance for two years.
The talented D'Leny has bounced back superbly this season after missing the whole of the 2008 season due to a knee injury.
D'Leny, who hit his maiden league century recently, has claimed 23 victims behind the timbers and gets the nod as 'keeper ahead of Nelson, who has 19 scalps so far.

There would have been more Northern League representatives but for the clash with the league's Twenty20 Finals Day at Netherfield CC on Sunday.
Morecambe's Ikram Ullah and Netherfield's Chris Miller will both represent their clubs at the big day at Parkside Road instead of taking up invitations to play for the county.
Nelson's selection confirms that the county side are looking to promote local talent.
In recent years the Cumberland side has had a heavy reliance upon players who ply their trade in Yorkshire and the north-east.
Carnforth's in-form left-arm spinner Warren Quinn, the league's leading amateur wicket-taker this season, is also thought to be in the selectors' thinking.
