Players from the Furness Building Society Northern Premier League (incorporating 3D Sports) were to the fore as Cumberland ended their Minor Counties championship season with victory yesterday (Tuesday).
Cumberland completed a win by eight wickets over Bedfordshire in the three-day game at the Luton Town & Indians CC ground just before four o'clock.
Morecambe's Ikram Ullah hit a century for Cumberland while Carnforth's Warren Quinn and Kendal's Stu Parkin both helped bowl Cumberland to victory on their respective debuts for the county.
Barrow's Jonathan Miles and Netherfield's 16-years-old batsman Alex Atkinson, also making his county debut, were also in the Cumberland side.
Ikram Ullah was making his second appearance for the county having made his debut in the game at Sedbergh earlier this season.
Parkin took three for 35 as Bedfordshire were bowled out for 186 in their first innings on Sunday, accounting for both openers and three of the top five batsmen.

Ikram Ullah, who also kept wicket, then hit a magnificent 110 off 117 balls including 17 fours and one six as Cumberland established a large first innings lead before being bowled out for 379. Miles, batting at no3 made a valuable 35.
Quinn emerged with figures of two for 69 from a long spell of bowling in the second innings and with Parkin taking one for 54 Bedfordshire reached 321.

With rain clouds threatening Cumberland reached their victory target in 28 overs, closing at 129 for 2 with Miles out for 16.
During the Minor Counties season Barrow captain Daryl Wearing and club-mate Liam Livingstone have also represented the county while Carnforth's Adam Cowperthwaite and Ryan Nelson have also earned county selection.
