The Dream Team for 2009 has been announced.
In a new initiative the Dream Team for the Furness Building Society Northern Premier Cricket League (in association with 3D Sports) will be selected annually.
Qualification procedure centres upon:
The captain of the championship winning side;
The best all-round professional;
The best amateur wicket-keeper (most runs made if level on dismissals);
The four top amateur batsmen;
The four top amateur bowlers.
Champions St Annes supply three players and runners-up Preston another two. Fleetwood, Blackpool, Barrow, Chorley, Carnforth and Lancaster are also represented.
