The league fixtures for 2009 for both divisions one and two have been posted to the fixtures section of the site.
The League AGM was held at Lancaster CC on 8 Dec 2008 and was a well attended event with all clubs represented.
League Chairman Norman Poole was happy to confirm that Furness Building Society had agreed to sponsor the league on a two-year deal commencing in 2009.
The competition will henceforth be known as Furness Building Society Northern Premier Cricket League (incorporating 3D Sports).
The league fixtures were agreed with one alteration. The Kendal-Barrow fixtures are reversed. Barrow will now host Kendal on 18 April with the return at Shap Road on 4 July.

Twenty20 competition
The First Division Twenty20 competition will commence in the week ending Friday 12 June with further games scheduled in the weeks ending 19 and 26 June and 3 July.
The two weeks ended Friday 17 July are reserve weeks set aside for postponements.
All T20 games must be completed by Sunday19 July.
The Semi-Finals and Final will be held on one day at the ground of one of the semi-finalists as drawn on Sunday 26 July 2009.
The semi-finals will commence at 11am and 2pm, the final at 5pm.
The group games will involve the following four groups as last year:
North One: Barrow, Kendal, Netherfield
North Two: Carnforth, Lancaster, Morecambe
South One: Blackpool, Fleetwood, Preston, St Annes
South Two: Chorley, Darwen, Leyland
