The fifth round of matches in the League Cup saw the following teams in the top eight qualifying positions for the knockout rounds with one round of matches to go
Chorley, Netherfield, Leyland, Morecambe Euxton, Garstang Blackpool and Fleetwood.

Blackpool v Penwortham
Blackpool won the toss at Stanley Park and elected to bat first, Kasim Munir and Dylan Henshall gave them a great start with an opening stand of 179 broken when Dylan Henshall was caught by Ashley Billington off Charlie Parker for 85 (92 balls)(6x4,3x6), 179-1, Number three was Andrew Needham, In the next over Thomas Wilson took wickets with his second and third balls, he bowled Kasim Munir for 75 (83 balls)(8x4,1x6), 180-2, next ball incoming batsman Ockert Erasmus was caught by Ashley Billington for 0 (1 ball), 180-3.
Joshua Boyne was next in but in the next over lost Andrew Needham caught by Thomas Wilson off Charlie Parker for 2 (4 balls)186-4. Matthew Taaffe was joined Boyne but he soon became wicket number three for Charlie Parker out caught by Matt Halliday for 6 (9 balls), 195-5.
Ben Howarth was the new batsman and with Boyne continued to make good progress, Disaster struck for the hosts Ben Howarth was run out by Charlie Parker for 25 (20 balls)(2x4,1x6), 248-6.
Stuart Ashford came to the wicket and with Boyne saw Blackpool close on 265-6 in their 40 overs, Joshua Boyne was 41no and Stuart Ashford 0no (did not face a ball).
The Penwortham bowling was Charlie Parker took 3-51 from 8 overs, Thomas Wilson 2-20 off 4, N Patel 0-32 from 4, Ashley Billington 0-37 off 8, Connor Brown 0-48 from 8 and Nathan Elliot 0-69 off 8.
The visitors reply got off to a poor start Khalil Patel bowling Kane Donaghy for 6 (7 balls), 10-1, Matt Halliday was the Penwortham number three, Khalil Patel struck again having Jonathon Hothersall caught by Joshua Boyne for 5 (12 balls)(1x4), 24-2.
Connor Brown joined Halliday but they were soon parted Matt Halliday caught behind by Ben Howarth off Alex Ryder for 16 (18 balls)(2x4), 32-2. Charlie Parker was next in but five runs later Alex Ryder claimed his second wicket Connor Brown caught by Andrew Needham for 8 (18 balls)(1x4), 37-4.
Nathan Elliot came to the wicket but disaster for the visitors as he was run out by Ockert Erasmus for 5 (19 balls), 54-5. Ashley Billington was the new batsman but one run later Charlie Elliot was out lbw to Ockert Erasmus for 5 (19 balls), 55-6.
Rayyan Tailor replaced Parker but was soon out caught by Khalil Patel off Matthew Grindley for 1 (15 balls), 58-7. next in was Charlie Evans but without any further addition to the score Ashley Billington was caught by Joshua Boyne off Ockert Erasmus for 2 (9 balls), 58-8.
Thomas Wilson joined Charlie Evans but soon became Ockert Erasmus's next victim bowled for 0 (8 balls), 69-9. Nathan Patel was in at eleven and was quickly out bowled by Ockert Erasmus for 1 (5 balls) as Penwortham were bowled out for 70 in 25.1 overs with Charlie Evans 11no (22 balls)(1x4).
All the Blackpool bowlers took a wicket, Ockert Erasmus took 4-6 from 6.1 overs, Alex Ryder 2-15 off 6, Khalil Patel 2-25 from 5 and Matthew Grindley 1-24 from 8.
Carlisle v Barrow
Barrow won the toss at Edenside and chose to bat first, Drew Postlethwaite was the first man out caught by Matthew Brown off Ben Purdham for 10 (19 balls), 24-1. Oliver Whalley came in at three and with Luke Callow began to make steady progress, Ben Davidson took the next wicket Oliver Whalley stumped by Tom Benn for 20 (30 balls)(2x4), 54-2.
Hardus Coetzer was in next but the introduction of Brodie Glendinning saw Luke Callow fall caught behind by Tom Benn for 19 (34 balls)(1x4), 62-3, Simon Dutton joined Coetzer but seven runs later was caught by Alex Raybould off Ben Davidson for 3 (6 balls), 69-4.
Jack Singleton was Hardus Coetzer's new partner and they began the rebuild and were keeping the scoreboard moving along nicely until the 39th over when Jack Singleton was caught by Ben Purdham off Calum Rowe for 32 (75 balls)(2x4), 152-5.
Michael Slack bowled the last over, he bowled new man Declan Tyson for 3 (4 balls), 157-6, Simon Chadd came to the the wicket and took a single off the fourth ball, ball five saw Hardus Coetzer bowled for 60 (69 balls)(6x4), 158-7. Sam Henderson was in next and was run out off the last ball for 1 (1 ball) as Barrow closed on 159-8 in their 40 overs.
All Carlisle bowlers took a wicket, Ben Davidson took 2-25 from 8 overs, Michael Slack 2-31 off 8, Brodie Glendinning 1-30 from 8, Calum Rowe 1-31 off 8 and Ben Purdham 1-36 from 8.
The hosts reply got off to a steady start, Marc Brown was the first wicket to fall caught behind by Drew Postlethwaite off Hardus Coetzer for 16 (21 balls)(3x4), 29-1, Coming in at number three was Callum Rowe, Declan Tyson was introduced into the attack and in his first over caught and bowled Calum Rowe for 11 (12 balls)(1x4), 51-2.
Michael Slack was the new batsman, Disaster struck when one run later two wickets fell , Oliver Spedding was caught behind by Drew Postlethwaite off Sam Henderson for 18 (38 balls)(3x4), 52-3. Ben Davidson replaced Spedding but in the next over Michael Slack was bowled by Declan Tyson for 0 (6 balls), 52-4.
Matthew Brown joined Davidson and he lead the way keeping the scoreboard ticking over, he was scoring at a run a ball when he was caught behind by Drew Postlethwaite off Sam Henderson for 22 (23 balls)(2x4,1x6), 86-5. Alex Raybould was next in but quickly became Declan Tyson's third wicket lbw for 5 (8 balls), 93-6.
Ben Davidson had a new partner in Brodie Glendinning who one run later was caught by Sam Dutton off Sam Henderson for 0 (9 balls), 94-7. Tom Benn was the next batsman and with Ben Davidson took the score to two runs short of victory when he was caught by Oliver Whalley off Liam Walker for 26 (42 balls)(2x4), 158-8.
Nico Watt came to the wicket and off the third ball received hit the winning runs as Carlisle closed on 163-8 in 38.4 overs, Ben Davidson was 48no (75 balls)(1x4,1x6) and Nico Watt 4no (2 balls)(1x4).
The Barrow bowling was Declan Tyson took 3-20 from 8, Sam Henderson 3-30 off 8, Liam Walker 1-25 from 6.4, Hardus Coetzer 1-38 off 7, Simon Chadd 0-21 from 4 and Daryl Wearing 0-26 off 5.
Carnforth v Fleetwood
Fleetwood won the toss at Lodge Quarry and decided to bat first, they got off to a fast start losing Tomas King in the eighth over for 60 (26 balls)(5x4,6x6), 74-1, Muhammed Hurraira came in at three and with Jeremy Davies kept up a good rate, Jaco Beneke broke the partnership having Jeremy Davies caught by Tom Parkinson for 30 (46 balls)(5x4), 131-2.
Andy Drake was in next and let Hurraira lead, he was next out bowled by James Parkinson for 5 (11 balls)(1x4), 156-3, Harry McAleer joined Hurraira and were approaching the two hundred when Harry McAleer was caught by James Park Johnson off Freddie Whatmuff for 10 (16 balls), 190-4.
Charlie Clark was the new batsman, Muhammed Hurraira reach his century and was still going for the runs when he was out caught behind by Bradley Hoyle off James Park Johnson for 133 (103 balls)(13x4,7x6), 264-5. Declan Clerkin came to the wicket but two runs later Charlie Clark was caught by Joel Frith off Dylan Conroy for 13 (21 balls)(1x4), 266-6.
The next man in was Nathan Bend who was going for the runs and was caught by Joel Frith off James Park Johnson for 15 (9 balls)(2x4,1x6), 285-7. Hassan Mughal was Decaln Clerkin's new partner and they saw Fleetwood close on 294-7 in their 40 overs.
For Carnforth James Park Johnson took 2-46 from 5 overs, Dylan Conroy 2-65 off 8, James Parkinson 1-16 from 3, Jaco Beneke 1-17 off 4, Freddie Whatmuff 1-67 from 8, Tom Fursland 0-26 off 4 and Tom Parkinson 0-55 from 8.
The hosts got off to a bad start losing both openers with the score on 2, Freddie Whatmuff went first caught and bowled by Hassan Mughal for 0 (1 ball),, 2-1, Jaco Beneke was in at three but immediately lost Joel Frith lbw to Declan Clerkin for 0 (3 balls), 2-2.
Ryan Nelson joined Beneke they set about rebuilding the innings, Hassan Mughal struck again Jaco Beneke caught and bowled for 26 (16 balls)(3x4,2x6), 34-3. James Park Johnson was in next, Jeremy Davies was first change and took two wickets in each of his first two overs, James Park Johnson was caught behind by Harry McAleer off his first ball for 5 (4 balls)(1x4), 45-4, Ryan Nelson was bowled off his last ball for 12 (20 balls),(2x4), 50-5.
The two new batsmen were Tom Parkinson and Dylan Conroy, In Davies's next over Dylan Conroy was caught behind by Harry McAleer for 0 (1 ball) off his first ball, 54-6, incoming batsman Tom Fursland fell lbw off his fourth ball for 4 (3 balls)(1x4), 58-7.
Bradley Hoyle was next in and things got worse for the hosts, Sherzai Wali was brought on to bowl and with his third ball bowled Tom Parkinson for 15 (13 balls)(2x4,1x6), 65-8. James Parkinson came to the wicket but soon lost Bradley Hoyle out caught by Declan Clerkin off Sherzai Wali for 3 (15 balls), 79-9.
Lewis Spurr was the Carnforth number eleven but with out further addition Jeremy Davies claimed his fifth wicket James Parkinson caught by Matthew Siddall for 10 (18 balls)(2x4) as Carnforth were bowled out for 79 in 15.5 overs, Lewis Spurr was 0no (1 ball).
All the Fleetwood bowlers took a wicket, Jeremy Davies took 5-20 from 4.5, Sherzai Wali 2-10 off 3, Hassan Mughal 2-14 from 5 and Declan Clerkin 1-34 off 3.
Chorley v Morecambe
Morecambe won the toss at Windsor Park and chose to bat first, they got off to a steady start, Luca Doyle took the first wicket Lewis Smith caught by Maxwell Seedall for 10 (16 balls)(2x4), 23-1, Number three was Siddarth Ahhuha but he fell off the first ball of Luca Doyle's next over caught by Keegan Petersen for 2 (7 balls), 26-2.
Alex Briggs joined Luke Pearson and they got the scoreboard moving along, Ed Catt was introduced into the attack and took two wickets in his first over, Alex Briggs was caught behind by Kieran Yould for 26 (16 balls)(6x4), 62-3, off the last ball of the over Luke Pearson was caught behind by Kieran Yould for 14 (25 balls)(3x4), 65-4.
We now had two new batsmen, Joseph Bradshaw and George Battersby, Joseph Bradshaw was soon out caught behind by Kieran Yould off Ed Catt for 1 (15 balls), 77-5. Andrew Creech replaced Bradshaw and dug in, Ed Catt struck again having George Battersby caught by Will Moulton for 11 (18 balls)(1x4), 85-6.
Stefan Dixon was the next man in and with Andrew Creech took the score past the hundred, Ed Catt claimed his fifth wicket Stefan Dixon caught by Will Moulton for 9 (24 balls), 101-7, Michael Bland came to the wicket but three runs later lost Andrew Creech caught by Ed Catt off Edwin Moulton for 7 (38 balls), 104-8.
Lloyd (Adam) Smith was the new batsman, Michael Bland went on the attack, He fell bowled by Maxwell Seedall for 30 (30 balls)(5x4.1x6), 155-9. Regan Jackson was the visitors number eleven but four runs later saw Lloyd (Adam) Smith out caught behind by Kieran Yould off Toby Johnston for 19 (32 balls)(3x4) as Morecambe were bowled out for 159 in 37 overs with Regan Jackson 0no (2 balls).
The Chorley bowling was Ed Catt took 5-23 from 8 overs, Luca Doyle 2-22 off 8, Maxwell Seedall 1-15 from 3, Toby Johnston 1-27 off 5, Edwin Moulton 1-48 from 8 and Keegan Petersen 0-18 off 5.
Alfie Dobson and Miller Childs got the hosts off to a good start, Alfie Dobson was the first man out caught by Luke Pearson off Stefan Dixon for 11 (20 balls)(2x4), 35-1, Edwin Moulton came in at three and let Miller Childs lead the way, they were approaching the hundred when he was bowled by Regan Jackson for 12 (32 balls), 91-2.
Keegan Petersen was the new batsman, Miller Childs reached his century with a six and the next ball went for 5 wides as Chorley were home on 161-2 in 22.3 overs, Miller Childs was 100no (65 balls)(14x4, 3x6) and Keegan Petersen 22no (18 balls)(3x4).
For Morecambe Stefan Dixon took 1-33 from 5 overs, Regan Jackson 1-51 off 5.3, Lloyd (Adam) Smith 0-17 from 3, Siddarth Ahhuja 0-26 off 5 and Michael Bland 0-32 from 4.
Euxton v Great Eccleston
Great Eccleston won the toss at Balshaw Park and batted first, they lost an early wicket Will Smith bowled by Josh Boyden for 9 (12 balls)(2x4), 15-1. Mohammed Fazil came in at three and with Matt Moat steadily built up the score, Joseph Bowden made the breakthrough bowling Matt Moat for 32 (52 balls)(4x4), 57-2.
Alexander Rhodes was in next, James Bone was brought on to bowl and in his first over Mohammed Fazil was stumped by Jack Morgan for 9 (35 balls)(1x4), 59-3. Alex Swale joined Rhodes, James Bone struck again bowling Alexander Rhodes for 9 ( balls)(2x4), 68-4.
Will Thistlethwaite replaced Rhodes and with Swale were approaching the hundred when Elliott Mackrael took two wickets in an over, Alex Swale was lbw off the first ball for 14 (38 balls)(2x4), 97-5. Mark Turnbull was the new batsman but was bowled off the last ball of the over for 5 (5 balls),101-6.
Chris Saunders came to the wicket but in the next over Will Thistlethwaite was out lbw to Nishan Peiris for 12 (44 balls)(1x4), 101-7. Jonte Picton-Hayes was the new batsman and with Chris Saunders saw Great Eccleston close on 130-7 in their 40 overs, Chris Saunders was 12no (22 balls)(1x4) and Jonte Picton-Hayes 14no (23 balls)(1x4).
The Euxton bowling was James Bone took 2-16 from 8 over, Elliot Mackrael 2-21 off 5, Josh Boyden 1-9 from 4, Nishan Peiris 1-15 off 8, Joseph Bowden 1-37 from 8 and Joseph Barker 0-28 off 7.
The hosts got off to a bad start losing both openers cheaply, Josh Tolley was caught behind by Chris Saunders off Alexander Rhodes for 5 (10 balls)(1x4), 6-1, number three was James Bone but in the next over Ben Houghton fell lbw to Jim Proctor for 1 (8 balls), 6-2.
Max Harper was next in but soon became Alexander Rhodes's next victim bowled for 8 (18 balls)(1x4), 19-3. Josh Boyden was the new batsman but things did not improve for the hosts, four runs later Matt Moat trapped James Bone lbw for 3 (22 balls), 23-4.
Nishan Peiris joined Harper but Matt Moat struck again bowling Josh Boyden for 8 (24 balls), 32-5. Jack Morgan replaced Boyden and with Peiris had doubled the score when disaster struck Jack Morgan run out by Matt Moat for 13 (21 balls)(2x4), 65-6.
Jack Shovelton came to the wicket but soon lost Nishan Peiris caught by Will Smith off Matt Moat for 37 (40 balls)(5x4), 86-7. Victory looked along way away when Joseph Barker walked to the wicket but with Jack Shovelton they steadily reached their target scoring the winning runs in the 34.3 overs closing on 134-7. Jack Shovelton was 44no (33 balls)(3x4,3x6) and Joseph Barker 7no (31 balls).
The Great Eccleston bowling was Matt Moat took 3-31 from 8 overs, Alexander Rhodes 2-26 off 8, Jim Proctor 1-20 from 8, Jonte Picton-Hayes 0-11 off 1.3, Mohammed Fazil 0-19 from 4 and Will Smith 0-25 off 5.
Fulwood & Broughton v Leyland
Fulwood & Broughton won the toss at the Highfield ground and elected to bat first, The lost Ewen Mansford caught by Karl Cross off Andrew Jacques for 5 (9 balls)(1x4), 5-1, The hosts number three was Ben Rosbottom and with Matt Smith was going along nicely until Matt Smith was caught by Karl Cross off Andrew Jacques for 21 (16 balls)(3x4,1x6), 34-2.
Clayton Stone was in next and took charge and had the scoreboard was ticking over, Sam Oldham was brought on to bowl and with his second ball had Ben Rosbottom caught by Andrew Jacques for 10 (18 balls), 59-3. James McWilliam was the new batsman but fell in the next over caught by Sam Oldham off Karl Cross for 0 (8 balls), 60-4.
Ben Parkinson joined Stone but he soon became wicket number two for Karl Cross caught and bowled for 5 (13 balls), 75-5. Anupam Tripathi was Clayton Stone's new partner and they upped the run rate and were going well. Will Smith was introduced into the attack, Tripathi hit his first ball for six but was out on the fifth ball caught and bowled for 41 (32 balls(5x4,2x6), 144-6.
Dinith Karrunathilaka came to the wicket but in Will Smith's next over disaster for the hosts, Clayton Stone was run out by Xander Eyre for 55 (61 balls)(6x4,2x6), 154-7, three balls later Dinith Karunathilaka was caught by Jacob Wright for 9 (10 balls)(2x4), 154-8.
We now had two new batsmen, Kashif Jamil and Johnny Stanley. Johnny Stanley was quickly out caught by Xander Eyre off Will Smith for 9 (10 balls)(1x6), 166-9. Number eleven was Todd Winder and with Kashif Jamil went after the bowling, they saw the hosts close on 229-9 in their 40 overs, Kashif Jamil 35no (27 balls)(6x4) and Todd Winder 27no (38 balls)(3x4,2x6).
The Leyland bowling was Will Smith took 3-40 from 8 overs, Karl Cross 2-18 off 5, Andrew Jacques 2-48 from 8, Sam Oldham 1-34 off 6, Taj Ballantyne 0-32 from 5 and Liam Hurt 0-51 off 8.
The visitors got off to a brisk start losing Zak Willox caught by Ben Parkinson off Todd Winder for 30 (18 balls)(5x4,1x6), 38-1. Karl Cross came in at three and took over from Willox, the Cross, Eyre partnership was 76 when Kashif Jamil bowled Karl Cross for 57 (29 balls)(7x4,4x6), 114-2.
The new batsman was Sam Oldham but two runs later lost Xander Eyre caught by Matt Smith off Ben Rosbottom for 13 (20 balls)(2x4), 116-3. Jacob Wright joined Oldham and were in sight of victory when Jacob Wright was caught by Ewen Mansford off Kashif Jamil for 40 (50 balls)(5x4), 213-4.
Andrew Makinson came to the wicket and with Sam Oldham saw the visitors home on 232-4 in 29.3 overs, Sam Oldham was 43no (53 balls)(3x4,2x6) and Andrew Makinson 16no(8 balls)(2x4,1x6).

Longridge v Kendal
Longridge won the toss at the Newsham Memorial ground and decided to bat first, Rhys Morgan was out first bowled by Louis Backhouse for 3 (7 balls), 13-1. Number three was Matthew De Villiers and with Joshua Mullin took the score to 52, Louis Backhouse claimed his second wicket Joshua Mullin caught behind by Harry Templeton for 18 (19 balls)(3x4), 52-2.
Luke Platt joined Matthew De Villiers but six runs later they were both out, Matt Jackson bowled Matthew De Villiers for 33 (20 balls)(7x4), 58-3, Rob Hollinghurst was in next, Freddie Fallows came on to bowl and with his first ball had Luke Platt lbw for 0 (1 balls), 58-4.
Alex Mason replaced Platt but he was soon out caught behind by Harry Temperton off Matt Jackson for 5 (7 balls), 65-5. Kieran McClintock was the new batsman and he battled away, Finlay Richardson was introduced into the attack and bowled Kieran McClintock for 6 (24 balls), 84-6.
Tom Howarth was the incoming batsman and with Hollinghurst took the score past the hundred when Louis Backhouse returned to the attack and bowled Tom Howarth for 10 (19 balls)(1x4), 108-7. Louie Trayers came to the wicket but was quickly out bowled by Louis Backhouse for 1 (3 balls), 115-8.
Joe Lyth was Hollinghurst's new partner and they were going well until Rob Hollinghurst was caught behind by Harry Temperton off Finlay Richardson for 44 (80 balls)(3x4,1x6), 144-9.
The Longridge number eleven was Jonathan Millward but he lost Joe Lyth caught by Christopher Miller off Finlay Richardson for 16 (20 balls)(1x4) as Longridge were bowled out for 155 in 34.3 overs with Jonathan Millward 7no (7 balls)(1x4).

Lytham won the toss at Church Road and chose to bat first, Edward Fiddler fell early caught by Will Davidson off Gautam Waghela for 1 (9 balls), 6-1, Coming in at number three was Sahaan Sahaan but he soon became Gautam Waghela's next victim bowled for 4 (5 balls), 16-2.
Archie Banks-Smith was in next but in the next over opener Henry Roberts was bowled by Harry Snowden for 4 (11 balls), 16-3. Ben Saunders joined Banks-Smith and they began to get the scoreboard ticking over, Archie Bank-Smith was the next man out stumped by Robbie Davidson off Will Davidson for 17 (13 balls)(4x4), 41-4.
Guy Roberts was the new batsman but seven runs later lost Ben Saunders bowled by Will Davidson for 6 (18 balls)(1x4), 48-5. Stewart Davison joined Roberts and they began the rebuild, they had taken he score to 95 when Stewart Davison was caught by Sunny Singh off Gautam Waghela for 25 (33 balls)(2x4), 95-6.
Antony Mulligan came to the wicket and supported Roberts until disaster for the hosts Antony Mulligan was run out by John Davidson for 8 (21 balls), 127-7. Ryan Norris was Guy Roberts new partner and they upped the run rate, Ryan Norris was out in the last over stumped by Robbie Davidson off Will Davidson for 31 (23 balls)(3x4,1x6), 193-8.
Tom Hessey came to the wicket and with Roberts saw Lytham close on 198-8 in their 40 overs with Guy Roberts 89no (105 balls)(6x4,1x6) and Tom Hessey 1no (3 balls).

James Snowden was in next and let Waghela take the lead as Settle reached their target 199-3 in 32.4 overs, Gautam Waghela 88no (53 balls)(10x42x6) and James Snowden 2no (12 balls).
The Lytham bowling was Sahaan Sahaan took 1-19 from 6.4 overs, Sabbir Patel 1-46 off 8, Ben Saunders 1-50 from 8, Ryan Norris 0-12 off 1, Tom Hessey 0-34 from 5 and Antony Mulligan 0-37 off 4.
Netherfield v St Annes
Netherfield won the toss at Parkside Road and elected to bat first, they got off to a very good start Richard Everett the first out caught by Callum Birkman off Rory Urquhart for 30 (43 balls)(5x4), 60-1, number three was Abdu Dayyaan Galiem who was soon out lbw to Adam Patel for 19 (12 balls)(3x4,1x6), 82-2.
John Huck joined Reece Irving and they went on a run spree with John Huck leading the way, Lukman Vahaluwala broke the partnership having Reece Irving caught behind by James Bradley for 91 (98 balls)(7x4,2x6), 230-3.
Ben Barrow replaced Irving, John Huck reached his century and then went after the bowling and was out off the last ball of the innings caught by Harry Birkman off Rory Urquhart for 138 (79 balls)(9x4,10x6) as Netherfield closed on 294-4 in their 40 overs, Ben Barrow was 6no (8 balls).
The St Annes bowling was Rory Urquhart took 2-52 from 8 overs, Adam Patel 1-58 off 8, Lukman Vahaluwala 1-67 from 8, Callum Birkman 0-33 off 6, Ryan Birkman 0-39 off 3 and Zain Abbas 0-41 from 7.
The visitors got off to a terrible start losing Ashton Charles run out off the first ball by Richard Everett for 0 (did not face a ball), 0-1. Zain Abbas was in at three and with Vahaluwala took the score past the fifty only for Lukman Vahaluwla to fall lbw to Abdu Dayyaan Galiem for 13 (18 balls)(3x4), 57-2.
Evan Dobson was in next but three runs later was caught behind by Richard Everett off Charlie Parkinson for 2 (6 balls), 60-3. Adam Patel joined Abbas and they were going well, Oli Wileman came on to bowl and in his second over bowled Zain Abbas for 87 (68 balls)(10x4,2x6), 138-4.
Harry Birkman replaced Abbas but in the next over Adam Patel was caught by Olie Wileman off Josh Wills for 29 (44 balls)(2x4,1x6), 138- 5. Rory Urquhart came to the wicket and with Birkman had the scoreboard ticking over, Isaac Medhurst broke the partnership bowling Harry Birkman for 28 (26 balls)(2x4,2x6), 178-6.
James Bradley was the new batsman but he soon lost Rory Urquhart caught by Abdu Dayyaan Galiem off Oli Wileman for 16 (23 balls)(1x4), 186-7. James Bradley had a new partner in Ryan Birkman and they took the score past the two hundred when Ryan Birkman was caught by Isaac Medhurst off Will Beeden for 7 (13 balls)(1x4), 201-7.
Alex Urquhart was next in and with James Bradley saw St Annes close on 236-8 in their 40 overs, James Bradley was 19no (28 balls)(2x4) and Alex Urquhart 18no (17 balls)(1x4).

Thornton Cleveleys v Garstang
Thornton Cleveleys won the toss at Illawalla and took the first knock, they got off to a bad start losing both openers for 2 runs, Joshua Sackfield was out lbw to Lahiru Madushanka for 0 (1 ball), 1-1, Sam Curwen was in at three but saw Josh Borrell fall in Lahiru Madushanka's next over caught behind by Matthew Crowther for 1 (5 balls), 2-2.
Jacob Sackfield joined Curwen but the hosts quickly lost another wicket Sam Curwen caught by Cory Cater off Ian Walling for 4 (30 balls), 14-3. Liam Munton was next in but saw Jacob Sackfield out caught behind by Matthew Crowther off Ian Walling for 17 (29 balls)(3x4), 23-4.
Christopher Hedges was the new batsman but two runs later Liam Munton was caught by Joseph Pearson off Cory Cater for 0 (12 balls), 25-5. Joshua Rolinson replaced Munton, Cory Cater stuck again bowling Christopher Hedges for 5 (21 balls), 30-6.
Daniel Howard was Joshua Rolinson's new partner and they had more than doubled the score, Cory Cater broke their partnership having Daniel Howard caught behind by Matthew Crowther for 20 (27 balls)(3x4), 79-7. Jake Apperley came in next but was soon out caught and bowled by Edward Pearson for 4 (6 balls)(1x4), 85-8.
Ethan Elphick was the incoming batsman but in the next over Tom Higson cleaned up the last two wickets, Joshua Rolinson was caught by Theo Smith for 28 (33 balls)(5x4), 85-9, Anthony Ellison was number eleven took a single then Ethan Elphick was bowled for 0 (3 balls) as Thornton Cleveleys were bowled out for 86 in 28 overs with Anthony Ellison 1no (2 balls).
