Barrow won the toss at the Ernest Pass Memorial ground and elected to bat first, they got off to a bad start losing Luke Callow bowled by Tom Hessey for 0 (4 balls), 4-1. Oliver Whalley came in at three but did not last long caught behind by Myles Child off Antony Mulligan for 3 (6 balls), 26-2.
Hardus Coetzer was next in and with Drew Postlethwaite kept the score moving along, the introduction of Sahaan Sahaan into the attack resulted in Drew Postlethwaite being caught behind by Myles Child for 46 (58 balls)(7x4), 77-3, Sam Dutton joined Coetzer and they continued to make good progress, Sahaan Sahaan struck again having Sam Dutton caught by Antony Mulligan for 31 (33 balls)(3x4,1x6), 136-4.
Jack Singleton was the new batsman and gave Coetzer support, they took the score to 200 when Jack Singleton became wicket number three for Sahaan Sahaan caught by Ben Saunders for 13 (47 balls)(1x4), 200-5, Declan Tyson replaced Singleton, Hardus Coetzer reached his century and in the next over Sabbir Patel bowled Declan Tyson for 1 (6 balls), 217-6.
Sam Henderson came to the wicket but lost Hardus Coetzer caught by Ryan Norris off Sahaan Sahaan for 123 (130 balls)(11x4,4x6), 242-7, Daryl Wearing was next in with seven balls to go, Sabbir Patel bowled the last over, first ball he bowled Daryl Wearing for 1 (2 balls), 243-8, Simon Chadd came to the wicket but on the fourth ball Sam Henderson was bowled for 3 (13 balls), 245-9, Liam Walker came in at eleven and took a run off the fifth ball, Simon Chadd was stumped by Myles Child off the last ball for 0 (1 ball) as Barrow were bowled out for 246 in their 50overs with Liam Walker 1no (1 ball).
The Lytham bowling was Sabbir Patel took 4-62 from 13 overs, Sahaan Sahaan 4-72 off 15, Tom Hessey 1-24 from 5, Antony Mulligan 1-29 off 4, James Livesey 0-14 from 6 and Ben Saunders 0-35 off 7.
The visitors got off to a good start with an opening partnership of 46, Edward Fiddler was the first man out bowled by Sam Henderson for 27 (45 balls)(4x4), 46-1, Archie Banks-Smith was the Lytham number three and with Myles Child had put on 90 runs when Simon Chadd was brought on to bowl, in his first over Archie Banks-Smith was caught behind by Drew Postlethwaite for 46 (58 balls)(5x4), 136-2.
Sahaan Sahaan was the new batsman but he lost his partner Myles Child stumped by Drew Postlethwaite off Simon Chadd for 52 (99 balls)(4x4,1x6), 148-3. Alex Higham was in next but three runs later fell lbw to Declan Tyson for 3 (7 balls), 151-4.
Ben Saunders joined Sahaan Sahaan and they took the score past the two hundred, Hardus Coetzer made the breakthrough having Ben Saunders caught by Luke Callow for 28 (29 balls)(4x4), 207-5. Ryan Norris came to the wicket but was quickly out bowled by Hardus Coetzer for 5 (7 balls)(1x4), 221-6.
Tom Hessey replaced Norris but then disaster for the visitors Sahaan Sahaan was run out by Hardus Coetzer for 56 (39 balls)(3x4,4x6), 232-7. Antony Mulligan was the incoming batsman with 15 runs required from 15 balls, but two runs later he was run out by Oliver Whalley for 1 (3 balls), 234-8.
Sabbir Patel was the next batsman in and it came to the last over with seven runs required from the Simon Chadd over, only two runs were scored off the first four balls, Sabbir Patel was caught by Hardus Coetzer for 5 (8 balls), 242-9, Joe Liversey came in at eleven for the final ball and was run out Drew Postlethwaite for 0 (1 ball) as Lytham were bowled out for 242 in their 50 overs five runs short of victory with Tom Hessey 4no (5 balls).

Fleetwood v Fulwood & Broughton
The battle of the top two took place at Broadwater with Fulwood & Broughton winning the toss and choosing to bat first, Ewen Mansford and Matt Smith got them off to a good start, Matt Smith was out first caught by Charlie Clark off Hassan Mughal for 19 (31 balls)(2x4), 37-1. Number three was Ben Rosbottom and with Mansford steadily moved the score along, Ewen Mansford was the next man out bowled by Sherzai Wali for 33 (76 balls)(3x4), 84-2.
Charlie Rossiter was next in and with Rosbottom had nearly doubled the score when Matthew Siddall bowled Charlie Rossiter for 50 (58 balls)(5x4,1x6), 162-3, Clayton Stone joined Rosbottom but he was soon out caught behind by Harry McAleer off Hassan Mughal for 2 (9 balls), 171-4.
Simon Kerrigan was the new batsman and they took the score to 200, Jermey Davies had Simon Kerrigan caught by Hassan Mughal for 8 (8 balls)(1x4), 200-5, the new batsman was James McWilliam who came to the wicket with nine balls to go, Hassan Mughal bowled the last over, five runs came off the first two balls, James McWilliam was caught and bowled off the third for 4 (6 balls)(1x4), 206-6, Ben Parkinson joined Rosbottom, a wide was bowled next then a run to leave Ben Rosbottom facing, he was caught behind by Harry McAleer for 72 (111 balls)(4x4,1x6), 208-7, Lewis Wellings came to the wicket and was run out off the last ball for 1 by Charlie Clark as Fulwood & Broughton closed on 209-8 in their 50 overs, Lewis Wellings was 1no (1 ball).

Jermey Davies joined Declan Clerkin, things got worse for the home side Declan Clerkin falling caught by Ben Parkinson off Lewis Wellings for 0 (7 balls), 4-3. Harry McAleer was next in and with Davies set about rebuilding the innings, they were beginning to look settled, Simon Kerrigan was introduced into the attack and took wickets in his second and third overs, He trapped Jeremy Davies lbw fro 41 (59 balls)(7x4), 80-4, incoming batsman Tomas King was his next wicket lbw for 0 (2 balls), 88-5.
Charlie Clark was the new batsman and with McAleer kept the scoreboard ticking over, Ewen Mansford broke the partnership having Charlie Clark caught behind by James McWilliam for 31 (54 balls)(4x4), 143-6, Nathan Bend was the next man in but five runs later was stumped by James McWilliam off Ewen Mansford for 1 (7 balls), 148-7.

Great Eccleston won the toss at Hall Lane and invited the visitors to bat first, Ryan Nelson and Joel Frith started well, Alexander Rhodes broke the partnership having Joel Frith caught by Mohammed Fazil for 22 (17 balls)(4x4,1x6), 33-1, Jaco Beneke came in at three and with Nelson were scoring at a good rate, Kieran Grimshaw came on to bowl and in his second over had Ryan Nelson caught behind by Emran Patel for 30 (39 balls)(5x4), 78-2.
James Park Johnson was next in but was soon out lbw to Mohamed Nadeem for 0 (3 balls), 85-3. Freddie Whatmuff replaced Park Johnson continued the good score rate, Kieran Grimshaw struck again having Freddie Whatmuff caught by Will Turnbull for 28 (36 balls)(2x4,2x6), 149-4. Whalley won the toss at Woodhill Lane and decided to bat first, They lost an early wicket Monty Cort bowled by Lloyd (Adam) Smith for 3 (28 balls), 17-1. Richard Palmer was the visitors number three but lost his partner Frankie Jackson lbw to Lloyd (Adam) Smith for 22 (27 balls)(3x4), 30-2.

Penwortham v Thornton Cleveleys
Penwortham won the toss at Middleforth Green and put the visitors into bat, Josh Borrell and Joshua Sackfield gave them a great start, Connor Brown broke the partnership having Josh Borrell caught by Matt Halliday for 24 (66 balls)(3x4), 73-1, Sam Curwen was the number three but was soon out caught by Connor Brown off Nathan Walmsley for 6 (20 balls)(1x4), 88-2.

The Penwortham bowling was Connor Brown took 4-61 from 15 overs, Nathan Walmsley 2-63 off 15, Rory Ryding 1-18 from 4, Charlie Parker 0-11 off 2, Matthew Finnerty 0-22 from 5 and Isaac Roberts 0-24 off 9.

Daniel Howard was brought into the attack and he soon claimed the wicket of Kane Donaghy stumped by Sam Curwen for 10 (38 balls)(1x4), 140-4.
Next in was Rayyan Tailor who looked to be settling in when he was caught by Liam Mumton off Daniel Howard for 15 (23 balls)(3x4), 161-5. Charlie Parker came to the wicket with 49 runs required from 9.1 overs, Disaster struck for the visitors with the loss of Connor Brown caught by Ethen Elphick off Joshua Rolinson for 42 (62 balls)(6x4), 175-6.
Nathan Walmsley replaced Brown and hit a six but was then out caught by J Sackfield off Daniel Howard for 8 (7 balls)(1x6), 184-7, Rory Ryding was the next man in 26 required off 32 balls, Eight runs had been added when Charlie Parker was caught by Christopher Hedges off Joshua Rolinson for 11 (13 balls)(1x4), 192-8,
Matthew Finnerty came to the wicket but two runs later Rory Ryding was caught by J Sackfield off Daniel Howard for 2 (14 balls), 196-9. Number eleven was Isaac Roberts and with Finnerty saw Penwortham close on 202-9 in their 50 overs eight runs short of victory, Matthew Finnerty was 4no (7 balls) and Isaac Roberts 1no (4 balls).
The Thornton Cleveleys bowling was Daniel Howard took 4-34 from 10 overs, Joshua Rolinson 2-41 off 9, Anthony Ellison 2-53 from 10, Joshua Sackfield 1-34 off 15 and Jale Apperley 0-35 from 6.
Preston v Euxton
Preston won the toss at West Cliff and took the first knock, They had a steady start but then lost two quick wickets, Nishan Peiris struck taking two wickets in three balls, he bowled Sajid Patel for 8 (15 balls)(1x4), 30-1, Imran Mehmood was in at three, his first ball was a wide and then he fell lbw off the next ball for 0, 31-2.
Ahmed Saeed Bariwala joined Suhel Patel but with the score on 46 two wickets fell. Ahmed Saeed Bariwala was caught by Josh Tolley off Josh Boyden for 7 (11 balls)(1x6), 46-3, in the next over Suhel Patel was caught and bowled by Nishan Pieris for 18 (33 balls)(3x4), 46-4.
We now had two new batsmen Suhel Jr and Sajid Nalbandh, Josh Boyden struck again having Sajid Nalbandh caught by James Bone for 3 (16 balls), 54-5, Saf Patel came to the wicket but disaster for the home side he was run out by Jack Morgan for 2 (6 balls), 65-6.
Arbaz Khan was the incoming batsman but with only ten runs added two wickets fell, Arbaz Khan was out lbw to Nishan Peiris for 6 (6 balls)(1x4), 75-7. in the next over Suhel Patel Jr was out caught behind by Jack Morgan off Josh Boyden for 15 (23 balls)(2x4), 75-8.
Once again we had two new batsmen, Talha Patel and ShaidHusain Haji and they were moving the score along nicely until Talha Patel was run out by Ben Houghton for 12 (28 balls)(1x4), 106-9. Ismail Patel was in at eleven and was the last man out bowled by Josh Boyden for 6 (13 balls)(1x4) as Preston were bowled out for 119 in 30 overs with ShaidHusain Haji 26no (28 balls)(1x4).
Euxton only used three bowlers, Josh Boyden took 4-51 from 15 overs, Nishan Peiris 4-56 off 13 and Joseph Barker 0-11 from 2.

James Bone had a new partner in Jack Morgan and they looked to be turning the innings around when disaster struck losing two wickets in three balls, James Bone was run out by Saf Patel for 24 (84 balls)(1x4), 62-7, two balls later incoming batsman Josh Marsden was out lbw off Ismail Patel for 0 (2 balls), 62-8.
Jack Morgan and Alfie Delve were the two new batsmen but with only six runs added Alfie Delve was caught by Tahla Patel off ShaidHusain Haji for 4 (15 balls), 68-9.
