Round 12 of the Northern Premier League was a wash out all the games were abandoned so the race for the title is as you were.
Eccleston (Chorley) v Penrith
It was the battle of the bottom two and Eccleston (Chorley) won the toss at Doctors Lane and invited the visitors to bat first. James Bowman and Ollie Greenwood opened, Reece Thomas gave the hosts a good start having Ollie Greenwood caught by Jordan Bentham for 1 (7 balls), 1-1.
Harsha Vithana was in at three and with Bowman slowly built the score until James Bowman was caught by Matthew Ashcroft off Nathan McDonnell for 9 (37 balls), 24-2, Sulosan Thiru came in next and got bogged down, Nathan McDonnell claimed his second wicket Sulson Thiru caught by Thomas Foster for 1 (31 balls), 49-3
The new batsman was Greg Cameron but soon lost his partner Harsha Vithana bowled by Nick Fowler for 34 (52 balls), 62-4. Alister Craig joined Greg Cameron and their partnership was 39 broken by Michael Atkinson having Alister Craig caught by Nathan McDonnell for 15 (27 balls), 101-5
The visitors tail then collapsed losing their last five wickets for 16 runs. Greg Cameron was the first to go stumped by Adam Norris off Michael Atkinson for 40 (46 balls), 110-6, Owen Jones was the new man becoming Thomas Foster's first victim caught by Nathan McDonnell for 0 (4 balls), 114-7
Penrith lost their last thee wickets without addition, James Ellis became Thomas Foster's next wicket stumped by Adam Norris for 4 (5 balls), 117-8, Dylan Simpson was caught by Reece Thomas off Michael Atkinson for 3 (4 balls), 117-9. Michael Atkinson closed the Penrith innings on 117 all out in 35.4 having Charlie Hansford stumped by Adam Norris for 0 (2 balls), Finlay Hansford was 0no (1 ball)
Michael Atkinson was the main wicket taker with 4-15 from 4.4 overs supportrd by Thomas Foster 2-19 off 4, Nathan McDonnell 2-32 from 10, Reece Thomas 1-7 off 7, Nick Fowler 1-20 from 7 and Cameron Smith 0-11 off 3
The rains came and the match was abandoned
Fleetwood v Blackpool
The Fylde coast derby saw Blackpool win the toss at Broadwater and ask the hosts to bat first. Atiq Uz Zaman and Andy Drake opened but were quickly parted Atiq Uz Zaman bowled by Matthew Grindley for 4 (5 balls), 4-1
Coming in at number three was Jeremy Davies and with Andy Drake began to build a score until Matthew Grindley struck with two wickets, Jeremy Davies fell caught by Josh Boyne for 17 (24 balls), 41-2. he then had Tiaan Van Vuuren lbw for 0 (3 balls), 41-3
Harry McAleer was the new batsman but lost his partner Andy Drake bowled by Jamie Thomson for 23 (41 balls), 49-4. Adam Sharrocks came to the wicket and with McAleer kept the scoreboard ticking over until Josh Boyne trapped Adam Sharrocks lbw for 9 (46 balls), 87-5
Declan Clerkin joined McAleer but with only four runs added he saw the loss of two wickets, Harry McAleer went run out by Matthew Grindley for 32 (41 balls), 91-6. Nathan Bend was the new batsman who was also run out by Stan Howarth for 0 (3 balls) 91-7
Rizwan Patel replaced Bend but was soon out caught behind by Ben Howarth off Shivam Chaudhary for 5, 102-8, Will Reader was next in but was out bowled by Josh Boyne for 6 (10 balls), 121-9. The innings closed on 128 all out in 38.2 overs with Declan Clerkin stumped by Ben Howarth off Shivam Chaudhary for 27 (17 balls). Jack Wilkinson was 0 no

Fulwood & Broughton v Chorley
Chorley won the toss at the Higfield ground and invited the hosts to bat first, Ewen Mansford and James McWilliam opened but on 14 James McWilliam was caught by Joshua Pistorius off Will Moulton for 3 (17 balls), 14-1
Ben Parkinson was in at three and the score had doubled when Ben Parkinson was caught behind by Harry Barclay off Edwin Moulton for 17 (19 balls), 35-2. The new batsman was Simon Kerrigan and with Mansford looked to be building a good score until Simon Kerrigan was caught by James Dunn off Joshua Pirorius for 35 (31 balls), 87-3
Next in was Hareen Buddila, he soon lost his partner Ewen Mansford caught by Andrew Holsworth off James Dunn for 33 (81 balls), 93-4. Hareen Buddila was next out caught behind by Harry Barclay off James Dunn for 6 (12 balls), 101-5. The two new batsmen were Ben Rosbottom and Muhammad Zaid, Joshua Pistorius claimed his second wicket Muhammad Zaid caught by Will Moulton for 4 (5 balls), 108-6
Lewis Wellings replaced Zaid but unfortunately for the hosts Ben Rosbottom was run out by Alfie Dobson for 22 (37 runs), 135-7, the incoming batsman was Jon Fenton, but with only three runs added to the score Lewis Wellings was bowled by Ian Oakes for 7 (15 balls), 138-8
James Lupton was in at number ten and had made 20 (15 balls) when he was caught by Andrew Holdsworth off Sam Steeple, 165-9. The hosts were 166-9 in 42.1 overs with Jon Fenton 7no (21 balls) and Khalil Patel 0no (2 balls) when the innings closed.
All the Chorley bowlers took a wicket, James Dunn 2-19 from 7 overs, Joshua Pistorius 2-35 off 6, Ian Oakes 1-19 from 4, Sam Steeple 1-23 off 7, Will Moulton 1-30 from 7 and Edwin Moulton 1-32 off 11.1

Leyland v St Annes
St Annes won the toss at the Stanning memorial Ground and put the hosts into bat, Jacob Wright and James Rounding opened, their partnership was broken by Mitch Bolus having James Rounding caught by Yohan De Silva for 13 (10 balls), 15-1.
Zak Willox was the Leyland number three and with Jacob Wright were moving the score along nicely until Zak Willox was caught and bowled by Tom Higson for 51 (62 balls), 97-2.
Karl Cross was next in but lost his partner Jacob Wright caught and bowled by Yohan De Silva for 29 (68 balls), 99-3, James Critchley joined Cross but was soon bowled by Yohan De Silva for 4 (7 balls), 103-4.
Kurtis Watson replaced Critchley , Tom Higson claimed his second wicket Karl Cross caught by Max Green for 7 (27 balls), 111-5. Andrew Makinson was next in but the rains came with Leyland on 123-5 in 34 overs, Kurtis Watson 12no (19 balls) and Andrew Makinson 2no (13 balls).
The St Annes bowling was Tom Higson 2-20 from 8 overs, Yohan De Silva 2-36 off 11, Mitch Bolus 1-18 from 5, Harry Birkman 0-15 off 6 and Alec McGoughlin 0-31 from 4.
Longridge v Kendal
Two of the title contenders met at the Newsham Memorial Cricket ground, Kendal won the toss and chose to bat first, Freddie Fallows and Darren Nightingale opened, Jonathan Millward made the break through Freddie Fallows caught by Jake Durnell for 8 (9 balls), 10-1
The Kendal number three was Max Winskill and with Nightingale took the score past fifty when Matt Greenall had Max Winskill caught behind by Tom Turner for 16 (32 balls), 53-2, Rongsen Jonathan was the new batsman but with only ten runs added Darren Nightingale was bowled by Jonathan Millward for 39 (42 balls), 63-3
Next in was Bradley Earl and with Jonathan were appraoching the hundred, Jonathan Millward claimed his third wicket Bradley Earl caught by Luke Platt for 24 (20 balls), 95-4. Finlay Richardson was the new batsman but was soon out stumped by Tom Turner off Jake Durnell for 2 (10 balls), 112-5
Lewis Richardson joined Jonathan and were going along nicely until Rongsen Jonathan was trapped lbw by Matthew De Villiers for 45 (59 balls), 159-6, the new batsman was Sam Fletcher who lost his partner Lewis Richardson lbw to Caleb Bradford for 22 (31 balls), 165-7
Matthew De Villiers claimed his second victim Sam Fletcher lbw for 7 (10 balls), 177-8, Chris Miller and Louis Backhouse took the score to 196 when they were both out, Matthew De Villiers had Chris Miller caught by Zac Christie for 15 (19 balls), 196 -9, Kendal were all out for 196 in 41.1 overs when Louis Backhouse was caught by Jake Durnell off Caleb Bradford for 9 (14 balls), Kuldeep Singh was 0no (2 balls)
All the Longridge bowlers took a wicket lead by Jonathan Millward 3-55 from 14 overs, Matthew De Villiers 3-65 off 12 with Caleb Bradford 2-16 from 4.1, Matt Greenall 1-26 off 6 and Jake Durnell 1-26 from 5
The rains came and there was no further play
Netherfield v Garstang
Garstang won the toss at Parkside Road and had early success, Theo Gallagher was caught by Mark Walling off Ian Walling for 2 (13 balls), 8-1, Fellow opener Josh Dixon soon followed lbw to Waris Khan for 5 (14 balls), 14-2
The two new batsmen were Aryan Varsani and Ben Barrow with Varsani leading the way, Ian Walling claimed his second wicket Ben Barrow caught behind by Matthew Crowther for 3 (23 balls), 39-3, Will Beeden was next in and with Varsani doubled the score, it was Ian Walling who struck having Will Beeden caught behind by Matthew Crowther for 13 (28 balls), 78-4
Steven Fisher joined Varsani and they looked to be building a big score until Waris Khan had Aryan Varsani caught by Luke smith for 83 (75 balls), 134-5, the incoming batsman was Harry Lee who was soon out caught behind by Matthew Crowther off Joel Anthony Derham for 7 (6 balls), 142-6
Sagar Udeshi replaced Lee but soon lost his partner Steven Fisher caught by Mark Walling off Joel Anthony Derham for 16 (48 balls), 159-7. Oli Wileman was Udeshi's new partner and they upped the run rate, Danny Gilbert broke the partnership bowling Sagar Udeshi for 36 (37 balls), 188-8
The Kendal innings was on 209-8 in 46 overs when the rains came and the match was abandoned with Oli Wileman 18no (25 balls) and Samuel Medhurst 4no (7 balls).
For Garstang Ian Walling took 3-35 from 14 overs, Waris Khan 2-43 off 9, Joel Anthony Derham 2-59 from 12 and Danny Gilbert 1-60 off 11.
