The Northern Cricket League Review
Round 4 of the Northern Premier League was obliterated by the weather, only one game could be played a reduced over match between Fleetwood and Lancaster with visitors coming out the winners.
Fleetwood v Lancaster
In a rain effected game reduced to a 58 over match. Lancaster won the toss and invited the hosts to bat first.
Fleetwood made 90-8 in their 29 overs, James Gregson with 26 was their top scorer with the Dyllan Matthews making 20 and Tom Wilson 16no.
Atharva Taide was Lancaster's best bowler with 3-17 from 9 overs with Damar Graham taking 2-18 off 7 and Laurie Atkinson 1-22 from 4.
In reply the Lancaster openers Irfan Qayyum 52 and Lewis McGinley 24 gave the visitors the perfect start as Lancaster knocked off the runs reaching 94-5 in 14.2 overs
Dyllan Matthews took 3-32 from 6 overs with Scott Whittaker taking 2-19 off 3.2
