Leaders defeated by Leyland, Fleetwood and Fulwood & Broughton wins put them within one point, the other three games are drawn

Barrow v Fulwood & Broughton

Barrow won the toss at the Ernest Pass Memorial ground and decided to bat in a reduced over game of 42 overs per side. Jon Fenton struck early bowling Justin Pringle for 5, 6-1.

Greg Reynolds joined Toby Mowat and they had moved the total onto 29 when Mowat was caught by Euan Fletcher off Matthew Smith for 15, 28-2. Thirteen runs had been added when Matthew Smith struck again having Greg Reynolds caught by Dominic Jackson for 15, 41-3

Daryl Wearing soon followed falling to the Fletcher/Smith combination for 0, 45-4, Glen Kermode lasted 9 balls before being bowled by Simon Kerrigan for 2, 48-5

Kerrigan struck again bowling Jack Hill-Eades for 0, 51-6, the Barrow tail collapsed completely losing all four remaining wickets with the score on 53, Sam Henderson was bowled by Chris Brookes for 1, 53-7.

Dineth Thimodya's patient inning came to an end bowled by Simon Kerrigan for 14, 53-8, Matthew Adams was trapped lbw by Chris Brookes for 0, 53-9. Brookes the closed the innings having Gary Collins caught behind by Mark Smith for 0 53 all out in 23.4 overs

Simon Kerrigan took 3-2 in 4 overs, Chris Brookes 3-3 in 1.4, Matthew Smith 3-13 from 8 and Jon Fenton 1-18 off 8

Fulwood & Broughton took only 16 overs to gain victory losing only the one wicket of Euan Fletcher bowled by Greg Reynolds for 5, finishing on 55-1 with Mark Smith 31no and Matthew Smith 13no

Blackpool v Penrith

Penrith won the toss at Stanley Park and asked the hosts to bat in a 84 overs match, Blackpool were 193-8 in their 42 overs with Sam Dutton 73, Joshua Boyne 41 with contributions from Matthew Houston 24 and Craig Brown 20

Greg Hall took 5-68 from 16 overs with Asher Hart, Tristan Lundqvist and Samuel Hall taking one wicket

In reply Penrith had a disastrous start losing three quick wickets, two to Matthew Grindley and one to Lahiriu Madushanka but Greg Cameron 31 and Nicky Burns 21 steadied the ship, when they were out Greg Hall 59no and Tristan Lundqvist 27no took over and Penrith closed on 146-6

Matthew Grindley took 3-43 off 13 overs, Matthew Siddall 2-35 from 13 and Lahiru Madushanka 1-33 off 9

Fleetwood v St Annes

St Annes won the toss at Broadwater and chose to bat, they made a good start but with the score on 27 Tim Smithies was run out by James Gregson for 14, 27-1, Mohamed Nadeem joined Tom Higson and were going along nicely when Nadeem was out caught by Neels Berg off Alex Ryder for 24, 80-2

The third wicket came nine runs later Tom Higson caught by Keegan Armstrong off Alex Ryder for 41, 89-3, Declan Clerkin got in on the act taking the wicket of Amar Ullah caught and bowled for 2 89-4

Alex Ryder then had Nathan Armstrong caught by Callum Birtwell-Jones for 0, 91-5. Andy Drake and Richard Staines looked to stop the collapse but on 101 Drake became Clerkin's second victim caught by Keegan Armstrong for 10, 101-6

Henry Higson was next out caught by Neels Bergh off Clerkin for 4, 107-7, the Armstrong/Clerkin comination saw off Ben Reader for 2, 111-8. Richard Staines and Tom Bradley battled and had taken the score to 140 when Staines became Clerkin's fifth victim caught by Adam Sharrocks for 19, 140-9

Clerkin took his sixth wicket having Lucas Miller caught by Rana Singh for 1, St Annnes were all out for 143 in 40.4 overs with Tom Bradley 13no

Declan Clerkin took 6-27 from 11.4 overs with Alex Ryder taking 3-39 off 12

Tom Bradley struck early for St Annes having Callum Birtwell-Jones caught by Mohamed Nadeem for 2, 12-1, Keegan Armstrong and Rana Singh had a partnership of 83 when Keegan Armstrong was caught by Ben Reader of Amar Ullah for 28, 95-2

The pendulum then seemed to swing towards St Annes with the loss of three wickets, Rana Singh was out caught by Tom Higson off Amar Ullah for 57,103-3, Neels Bergh quickly followed lbw to Tom Higson for 2, 105-4

Only one run had been added when Ullah trapped Adam Sharocks lbw for 0 105-5, that was to be the last success for St Annes as James Gregson 23no and Declan Clerkin 18no saw the hosts home on 145-5 in 36.3 overs

Amar Ullah took 3-40 from 11 overs, Tom Higson 1-30 off 8 and Tom Bradley 1-33 from 10

Garstang v Chorley

Chorley own the toss at the Riverside Sports ground and invited Garstang to bat first in a reduced over match 0f 82 overs. Garstang made 196-8 from their 41 overs with Mark Walling 67, Punit Bisht 65 and Michael Wellings 33

Gaurav Dhar was Chorley's most successful bowler with 5-33 from 7 overs, Edwin Moulton took 2-60 off 12 and Kieran McCullagh 1-34 from 6

In reply Chorley were 176-5 in their 41 overs, Chamikara Edirisinghe top scored with 41no, Edwin Moulton made 38, Wian Van Zyl 29 and Staurt Naden 21no

Travis Pieters had 2-21 from 11 overs, Danny Gilbert 2-54 off 8 and Ian Walling 1-54 from 16

Longridge v Kendal

Kendal won the toss at the Newsham Memorial cricket ground and invited Longridge to bat first in a reduced 84 over match, John Simpson and Daniel Wilkinson Jnr opened and took the total to 30 when Wilkinson was caught by Oliver Killiner off Toby Tyson for 14, 30-1

Luke Platt joined Simpson and had a partnership of 85 when Simpson was caught by Olliver Killiner off Wes Marshall for 55, 115-2, new batsman Lachlan Bangs and Platt kept the scoreboard ticking over but on 160 Bangs was caught by Chris Miller off Mathew Park for 30, 160-3

James Whitehead joined Platt and they added 55 runs when Platt was out caught by Saeed Bariwala off Matthew Park for 74, 215-4. Zac Christie was next out caught by Chris Miller off Wes Marshall for 4, 226-5

The Longridge innings closed shortly afterwards on 236-5 in their 42overs, Matthew Park took 2-68 off 13 overs, Wes Marshall 2-87 from 12 and Toby Tyson 1-19 off 6

Saeed Bariwala and Wes Marshall opened for Kendal but on 21 Bariwala was trapped lbw by Jonathan Millward for 17, 21-1, Millward struck immediately having Wes Marshall caught behind by Zac Christie for 5, 21-2

Millward took his third wicket having Tom Benn lbw for 0, 26-3, Kendal were now in trouble losing Ben Phillips bowled by Ian Simpson for 4, 28-4, Tom Aspinwall and Edward Price dug in and tried to retrieve the situation, but on 48 Aspinwall was out caught by Nick Wilkinson off Jonathan Millward for 11, 48-5

Millward took his fifth wicket bowling Oliver Killiner for 9, 58-6, Chris Miller joined Price and they battled to save the game but with the score on 112 Price fell lbw to Ian Simpson for 33, 112-7.

Chris Miller was next out bowled by Daniel Wilson for 39, 128-8, Wilson struck again having Kuldeep Singh caught by John Simpson for 1, 132-9, but Toby Tyson 3no and Matthew Park ono hung on as Kendal closed on 132-9 in their 42 overs

Jonathan Millward took 5-39 in 9 overs, Daniel Wilson 2-34 from 15 and Ian Simpson 2-35 off 11

Netherfield v Leyland

Netherfield won the toss at Parkside Road and invited the visitors to bat in a reduced 70 over match. Leyland openers had taken their partnership to 21 when Karl Cross was caught behind by Lewis Edge of Bevan Small for 17, 25-1

Five runs had been added when Henry Thompson fell to the Edge/Bevan combination for 8, 32-2. Kurtis Watson and Saif Badar took the score to 52 when Watson was run out by Lewis Edge for 18, 52-3, Badar followed without further addition to the score lbw to Robbie Dwyer for 9 53-4

Nathan McDonnell and Ross Bretherton dug in and moved the score onto 96 when McDonnell was caught by Bevan Small off Joel Blain for 21 96-5. James Rounding and Bretherton kept the score going but on 129 Rounding was caught by Bradley Earl off Matt Jackson for 9, 129-6

Jackson struck again with two wickets bowling Bretherton for 45, 130-7 and having Saif Vohra caught by Ben Barrow for 5, 145-8, The Leyland innings closed shortly afterwards on 150-8 with Jacob Wright 5no and Alex Williams 2n0

Matt Jackson took 3-38 from 9 overs, Bevan Small 2-28 off8, Robbie Dwyer 1-14 from 5 and Joel Blain 1-33 off 8

Karl Cross removed the Netherfield openers Josh Dixon caught by Ross Bretherton for 0 and Ben Barrow caught behind by Alex Williams for 10. Only Bevan Small 21 and Lewis Edge 15 with Lewis Richardson 4 in 33 balls showed any resistance to the Leyland attack

Netherfield were bowled out for 59 in 27.2 overs, Ross Bretherton took 4-21 in 13 overs, Karl Cross 3-35 in 12 and Kurtis Watson mopped up the tail with 3-3 from 1.2 overs
