In contrast to last week the weather was not so kind, Netherfield and Penrith win with the Fleetwood and Garstang match ending in a tie.
Blackpool and Chorley have winning draws and the St Annes v Leyland game abandoned after 17 overs
Barrow v Netherfield
Netherfield won the toss at the Ernest Pass Memorial ground and invited to hosts to bat. Justin Pringle and Toby Mowat got Barrow off to a good start reaching 41 when Mowat was caught and bowled by Joel Blain for 14, 41-1
James Price joined Pringle and they had added 25 runs when Price was run out by Bevan Small for 20, 66-2, disaster struck for Barrow as Pringle was caught behind by Lewis Edge off Matt Jackson for 30 without any addition to the score 66-3
Jackson struck with two wickets with the score on 68, having Jack Hill-Eades caught by Robbie Dwyer for 2, 68-4 and trapping Jordan Nicholson lbw for 0 68-5.
For the third occasion in the innings two wickets fell on the same score, Glen Kermode became Jackson's fourth victim bowled for 1 , 74-6, followed 3 balls later by Sam Henderson caught by Bevan Small again off Jackson for 0, 74-7
Matthew Adams was out next lbw to Marc Hadwin for 0, 75-8, three runs later Matt Jackson took his sixth and seventh wickets to close the innings, having Daryl Wearing caught by Joel Blain for 8, 78-9, and then having Gary Collins caught and bowled for 0. 78 all out.
Matt Jacksons figures were 14 overs 6 maidens 29 runs 7 wickets, Marc Hadwin took 1-19 from 10 overs and Joel Blain 1-16 off 1
The Netherfield reply got off to a good start and were 34 when Ben Barrow was trapped lbw by James Price for 20, 34-1, Daryl Wearing gave the home side a glimmer of hope by bowling Bevan Small for 1, 35-2
Finlay Richardson joined Josh Dixon and had added 13 runs when James Price trapped Richardson lbw for 6, 48-3, that was the last success for the home side as Josh Dixon 26no and Bradley Earl 11no saw the visitors home reaching 80-3 in 17.5 overs
For Barrow James Price took 2-13 off 6 overs and Daryl Wearing 1-9 from 6
Fleetwood v Garstang
Garstang won the toss at Broadwater and put Fleetwood into bat, Danny Gilbert gave the visitors a good start removing both openers Jeremy Davies for 0 and Rana Singh for 5.
Keegan Armstrong and Neels Berg then rebuilt the Fleetwood innings, but when Travis Pieters trapped Neels Bergh lbw for 40, Armstrong had problems finding a partner to stay with him.
Tom Wilson with 16 was the only one to stay as Fleetwood closed on 167-9 in their 50 overs with Keegan Armstrong 79no
Danny Gilbert was the Fleetwood destroyer taking 6-52 off 16 overs supported by Travis Pieters 2-55 from 16 and Macauley Morris 1-27 from 9
When Garstang replied Toby Lush did what Danny Gilbert had done to Fleetwood removing the Garstang openers Michael Wellings 0 and Mark Winstanley for 3. Mark Walling and Punit Bisht began to rebuild the visitors innings
Walling fell for 28 and Bisht 22 but with the tail wagging held together by Ian Walling, the visitors crept closer and closer the Fleetwood total thanks Ian Walling 47no supported by Naqib Rahman 16, Danny Gilbert 19 and Travis Pieters 13.
The scores were level when Callum Birtwell-Jones bowled Macauley Morris for 0 resulting in a tied game.
Neels Bergh was the most successful Fleetwood bowler taking 4-53 off 12, Toby Lish 3-51 from 12 and Callum Birtwell-Jones 3-9 from 5.4 overs
Fulwood & Broughton v Penrith
Penrith won the toss at the Highfield ground and asked Fulwood & Broughton to bat, the hosts were bowled out for 137 in 42 overs, Matthew Smith 35 top scored with Charlie Rossiter 23 and 28 from no 10 Dominic Jackson
Asher Hart did the damage for the visitors taking 6-34 off 17 overs, Greg Hall took 2-49 from 16 and Jamie O'Brien 1-22 off 4
The visitors were made to fight for their victory and it was thanks to Nicky Burns 55no with 24 from Nick Hodgson and 18 from Greg Camerson Penrith closed on 137-6 off 36.2 overs
For Fulwood & Broughton Jon Fenton took 3-43 off 14.3 overs with Simon Kerrigan 2-33 off 9 with Matthew Smith 1-26 from 6
Kendal v Blackpool
Kendal won the toss at Shap Road and invited Blackpool to bat, the visitors had reached 17 when Sam Dutton was trapped lbw by Toby Tyson ror 9, 17-1, without addition Joshua Boyne was caught by Dan Woods off Toby Tyson, 17-2
Craig Brown joined Ciaran Johnson and they had a partnership of 33 when Johnson was caught behind by Tom Benn off Matthew Park for 15, 50-3, Lahiru Mdushanka came to the wicket and he and Brown had moved the total onto 92 when Brown was bowled by Wes Marshall for 33, 92-4
Andy Furniss became Madushanka's partner and they steadily moved the score on but on 139 Madushanka became Marshall's second victim being bowled for 58, 139-5. Marshall struck two balls later having Jake Muncaster caught by Tom Aspinwall for 0, 139-6
With the total on 154 Andy Furniss fell to the Aspinwall/Marshall combination caught for 28, 154-7, Ben Howarth became Marshall's fifth victim lbw for 17, 169-8, Marshall then bowled Matthew Grindley for 4 175-9, the innings closed one ball later Blackpool making 175-9 in their 50 overs
Wes Marshall had figures of 13 overs 3 maidens 24 runs 6 wickets with Toby Tyson 2-17 off 7 and Matthew Park 1-27 from 12
Due to rain the Kendal innings was reduced by 10 overs and the target to win 157, Saeed Bariwala and Wes Marshall got the home side off to a good start but with the total on 50 Bariwala was caught by Ciaran Johnson off Matthew Grindley for 19, 50-1
Tom Benn fell first ball lbw to Matthew Siddall for 0, 50-2, nine runs had been added when Matthew Grindley trapped Ben Phillips lbw for 1, 59-3, Grindley took his third wicket with Dan Woods caught by Jake Muncaster for 0, 61-4
The prize wicket of Wes Marshall was next bowled by Matthew Grindley for 42, 66-5, the Kendal middle order was collapsing, with no addition to the score two more wickets fell, Tom Aspinwall caught by Paul Danson off Matthew Siddall for 1 66-6 and Terry Hunte caught by Craig Brown off Matthew Grindley for 0, 66-7
Edward Price fought to keep Kendal in the game but lost Chris Miller bowled by Matthew Grindley for 0 68-8, Toby Tyson hung around but was out caught by Joshua Boyne off Matthew Siddall for 1, 77-9
Price 38no and Matthew Park 7no held on and Kendal closed on 114-9 in their 40 overs
Matthew Grindley took 6-44 from 17 overs with Matthew Siddall 3-21 off 13
Longridge v Chorley
Longridge won the toss at the Newsham Memorial Cricket Ground and put Chorley into bat, the visitors made 130-9 in 38 overs, Alexander Howarth top scored with 36 with Stuart Naden 28no
Jonathan Milllward took 3-37 from 15 overs, Matthew Greenall 3-31 off 10 and Daniel Wilson 1-20 from 5
Longridge were set 131 in 38 overs but due to rain was reduced to 31 overs, they were 88-3 at the close, John Simpson made 51 and Luke Platt was 27no
St Annes v Leyland
The match was abandoned after 17 overs with St Annes 65-2, Tom Smithies was 30no and Mohamed Nadeem was caught Tom Reece bowled Nathan McDonnell 26
