The leaders Leyland draw but Garstang lose to widen the gap at the top. There are wins for Chorley, Fulwood & Broughton, Blackpool, Longridge and St Annes
Chorley v Garstang
Chorley won the toss at Windsor Park and invited the visitors to bat, The Chorley bowlers were on top from the start and bowled Garstang out for 109 in 38.1 overs.
Punit Bisht top scored with 61 with 24 from Ian Walling. Chamikara Edirisinghe took 4-31 from 15.1 overs, Gaurav Dhar 2-8 off 3, Stuart Naden 2-23 from 4, Kieran McCullagh 1-18 off 8 and James Lee 1-28 from 8
Chorley reached the winning total of 112-4 in 33.2 overs, The main contributors being Kieran McCullagh 32, Harry Barclay 27no and Will Moulton 20no
Fulwood & Broughton v Barrow
Barrow won the toss at the Highfield ground and put the home side in to bat. Fulwood & Broughton were bowled out for 160 in 49 overs with Matthew Smith leading the way with 62.
Dineth Thimodya Hewathanthre took 7-46 from 16.5 overs, Gary Collins 2-49 off 17 and Daryl Wearing 1-16 from 6
In reply Barrow were bowled out in 29.3 overs for 109 with only Toby Mowat 52 and Daryl Wearing 32 showing any resistance
Simon Kerrigan took 5-27 from 14.3 overs, Jon Fenton 3-40 off 8 and Chris Brookes 2-11 from 5
Kendal v Longridge
Longridge won the toss at Shap Road and decided to bat, They got off to a disastrous start losing John Simpson bowled by Toby Tyson for 0 (4 balls), 0-1
Kyle Helm quickly followed lbw to Kuldeep Singh for 0 (7 balls), 0-2, Longridge were in trouble and Toby Tyson inflicted more misery by bowling James Whitehead for 1 (7 balls), 1-3. Kuldeep Singh struck again bowling Luke Platt for 0 (7 balls), 1-4
Lachlan Bangs took charge of the Longridge innings but lost Tom Howarth lbw to Toby Tyson for 5 (12 balls), 14-5, Nick Wilkinson soon followed lbw to Toby Tyson, 17-6
Ian Simpson joined Bangs and they took the score to 32 when Simpson became Tyson's third lbw victim for 5 (16 balls) 32-7. Bangs was shielding his tail end partners but lost Jonathan Millward bowled by Chris Miller for 3 (6 balls) 49-8
Matt Greenall was Bangs next partner and had added 12 when Greenall was caught and bowled by Chris Miller for 10 (9 balls), 61-9. Daniel Wilson came in at number 11 and with Bangs put on the highest partnership of the innings. Bangs's fighting innings came to an end when he was caught by Matthew Park off Saeed Bariwala for 62 (66 balls) as Longridge were bowled out for 94 in 25.4 overs with Daniel Wilson 4no (14 balls)
The Kendal openers Tom Benn and Ryan Shepherd were made to fight for their runs, Benn was the first to go bowled by Matt Greenall for 5 (23 balls) 14-1.
Greenall struck again having James Price caught by Tom Howarth for 1 (3 balls) 16-2. Ben Phillips joined Shepherd and looked to have put the home side in a strong position but with the total on 40 Shepherd was caught by Tom Howarth off Daniel Wilson for 14 (45 balls) 40-3
40 for 3 soon became 40 for 4 as Phillips was out lbw to Jonathan Millward for 14 (41 balls), Millward took the next wicket having Edward Price caught and bowled for 1 (12 balls), 44-5
David Batty became Millward's third victim lbw for 0 (8 balls), Saeed Bariwala lost his rearguard battle bowled by Ian Simpson for 4 (45 balls). 47-7. Chris Miller and Toby Tyson tried to save the game but Miller fell bowled by Daniel Wilson for 0 (29 balls) 51-8
Toby Tyson was bowled by Ian Simpson for 2 (15 balls) without further addition to the score, 51-9. The end came when Kuldeep Singh was lbw to Daniel Wilson for 0 (2 balls) bowled out for 53 in 37.1 overs with Matthew Park 2no (2 balls)
Daniel Wilson took 3-7 from 14.1 overs, Jonathan Millward 3-26 off 16, Ian Simpson 2-3 from 3 and Matt Greenall 2-11 off 4
Leyland v Netherfield
Netherfield won the toss at the Stanning Memorial ground and invited Leyland to bat, Runs were no easy and Leyland had an opening partnership of 49 between Henry Thompson and Karl Cross, Thompson was first out caught by Theo Gallagher for 8 (45 balls), 49-1
Saif Badar joined Cross and they took the score to 71 when Cross was lbw to Joel Blain for 42 (69 balls), 71-2, Kurtis Watson was no4 and with Badar put on 41 runs, Watson was out lbw to Joel Blain for 16 (26 balls), 112-3
Nathan McDonnell was next in and had made 17 (32 balls) when he was bowled by Bevan Small, 140-4, Saif Badar was next out bowled by Isaac Medhurst for 47 (74 balls), 146-5
Andrew Makinson and Ross Bretherton batted steadily and when Makinson had made 22 (26 balls) he was caught by Josh Dixon off Isaac Medhurst, 177-6, Leyland lost one further wicket James Rounding caught by Marc Hadwin for Isaac Medhurst for 10 (8 balls) 192-7
The Leyland Innings closed on 197 for 7 with Ross Bretherton 14no (29 balls) and Jacob Wright 1no (1 ball).
Isaac Medhurst took 4-55 from 12 overs, Joel Blain 2-46 off 12 and Bevan Small 1-31 from 10
Josh Dixon and Thomas John Anderton opened for Netherfield, Anderton went first bowled by Karl Cross for 4 (18 balls), 15-1, Bevan Small came in at no3 and had made 17 ( 20 balls) when he was caught by Nathan McDonnell off Ross Bretherton. 38-2
Bradley Earl joined Dixon and 16 runs had been added when Earl became Bretherton's third victim caught by Jacob Wright for 11 (24 balls), 54-3.
Ben Barrow was Dixon's next partner and they dug in but the introduction of Henry Thompson into the attack saw him trap Dixon lbw for 47 (110 balls) 102-4, Thompson the bowled Theo Gallagher for 0 (1 ball) 102-5
That was the last Leyland success as Netherfield batted out the overs and finished on 156-5 with Ben Barrow 50no (100 balls) and David Darley 20no (30 balls)
Henry Thompson took 2-20 from 4 over, Ross Bretherton took 2-40 off 16 and Karl Cross 1-26 from 6
Penrith v Blackpool
Penrith won the toss at Tynefield Park and invited the visitors to bat, Tomas King and Sam Dutton opened the batting and took the score to 25 when King was caught by henry Marshall off Jonathon Osborne for 20, 25-1
Ockert Erasmus joined Dutton but had only made 2 when he was out lbw to Jonathon Osborne, 37-2, Craig Brown was next in and they added 24 runs when Dutton was caught by Jonathon Osborne off Obus Pienaar for 35, 61-3
Joshua Boyne was no5 and with Brown took the total to 103 when Brown was bowled by Obus Pienaar for 13, 103-4, Andy Furniss became Pienaar's third victim caught and bowled for 10, 130-5
Joshua Boyne was next out caught by Jonathon Osborne off Greg Hall for 44, 136-6, Greg Hall took his second wicket bowling Paul Danson for 4, 145-7, Hall then took two quick wickets bowling Ben Howarth for 11, 154-8 and then Jamie Thomson for 0 154-9. The Blackpool innings closed on 154-9 with Chis Baines 3no
Penrith got off to a bad start losing Henry Marshall caught by Matthew Siddall off Jamie Thomson for 4 (16 balls) 10-1, fellow opener Samuel Hall followed bowled by Chris Baines for 6 (17 balls), 12-2
Obus Pienaar and Alister Craig dug in and had put on 29 runs when Pienaar was out caught by Joshua Boyne off Ockert Erasmus for 11 (32 balls), 41-3, Greg Cameron joined Craig and they worked hard for their runs but on 64 Erasmus struck having Craig lbw for 25 (56 balls) 64-4
Penrith were fighting to stay in the game but with the score on 88 Greg Cameron was caught behind by Ben Howarth off Matthew Siddall for 39 (30 balls) 88-5
Only one run had been added when the sixth wicket fell Nick Hodgson lbw to Ockert Erasmus for 0 (3 balls), 89-6, Penrith were now fighting a rearguard action and lost Nicky Burns caught by Chris Baines off Ockert Erasmus for 3 (21 balls), 96-7
Erasmus took his fifth wicket bowling Eddie Robson for 3 (12 balls), 104-8, Matthew Siddall got in the action having Greg Hall caught by Andy Furniss for 10 (30 balls), 108-9
The last wicket partnership of Jamie O'Brien and Jonathon Osborne stuck around and accumulated runs but with the score on 134 Jonathon Osborne was bowled by Matthew Siddall for 12 (26 balls) 134 all out leaving Jamie O'Brien 16no (25 balls)
Ockert Erasmus took 5-43 from 15 overs, Matthew Siddall 3-50 off 16.4, Chris Baines 1-15 from 7 and Jamie Thomson 1-16 from 5
St Annes v Fleetwood
St Annes batted first at Vernon Road and made 165-9 in their 50 overs thanks to Mohamed Nadeem 28, Alex Bradley 26, Amar Ullah 23 and Henry Higson 22.
Neels Berg took 4-48 from 16 overs, Alex Ryder 3-62 off 16 and James Amor 1-33 from 13
In reply Fleetwood lost an early wicket but Rana Singh 42 and Keegan Armstrong put the visitors in a strong position but clever field placings and good bowling from Amar Ullah 5-38 and Tom Higson 4-43 saw St Annes bowl out Fleetwood for 133 in46.2 overs
