Blackpool v Kendal
Kendal won the toss at Stanley Park and chose to bat and made a good start with Saeed Bariwala and Wes Marshall having an opening stand of 52 when Bariwala was stumped by Craig Brown off Matthew Siddall for 17 (44 balls), 52-1.
Siddall struck two balls later having Ryan Shepherd caught by Daryn Smit for 0, (2 balls), 52-2. Ben Phillips was next in and with Marshall had to fight for their runs, with the total on 68 Phillips became Siddall's third victim bowled for 4 (25 balls), 68-3
Kendal's troubles increased when they lost two wickets with the score on 69, Chris Marshall was trapped lbw by Daryn Smit for 0 (2 balls), 69-4, followed by Wes Marshall stumped by Craig Brown off Matthew Siddall for 41 (58 balls), 69-5
The Kendal innings then collapsed completely losing their remaining 5 wickets with the total on 72 in 25.4 overs, first to go was Edward Price lbw to Daryn Smit for 2 (7 balls), 72-6, Oliver Tyson followed bowled by Smit for 0 (2 balls) 72-7
Matthew Siddal took his fifth wicket when he had Saif Vohra caught by Matthew Grindley for 1 (5 balls), 72-8. Chris Miller was trapped lbw by Smit for 0 (3 balls), 72-9, Toby Tyson was bowled first ball by Smit for 0. 72 all out
Matthew Siddal took 5-13 from 9 overs and Daryn Smit 5-17 off 9.4
In reply Blackpool lost Sam Dutton bowled by Wes Marshall for 0 (2 balls) 6-1, then Ciaran Johnson was caught by Wes Marshall off Chris Miller for 0 (8 balls), 17-2. This was the last Kendal success as Daryn Smit 46no (52 balls) and Matthew Houston 27no (56 balls) saw Blackpool home in 19.3 overs
Chorley v Longridge
Longridge won the toss at Windsor Park and elected to bat, Openers John Simpson and Daniel Wilkinson Jnr took the score to 40 when they were both out, Simpson was the first to go caught by Will Moulton off Chamikara Edirisinghe for 22 (51 balls), 40-1
Wilkinson followed caught by Keiran McCullagh off Edwin Moulton for 13 (34 balls), 40-2.Chamikara Edirisinghe struck again having Neil Holden caught by Will Moulton for 1 (4 balls), 46-3.
Bangs joined Zac Christie and they had moved the score to 80 when Bangs was caught by Andrew Holdsworth off Stuart Naden for 18 (30 balls), 80-4. Christie was out next caught behind by Harry Barclay off Gaurav Dhar for 17 (53 balls) 86-5
Kyle Helm and James Fairclough had added thirteen runs when Fairclough was caught by Stuart Naden off Gaurav Dhar for 2 (13 balls), 99-6. Matt Joyce joined Helm and they dug in but when Joyce had made 10 (10 balls he was caught and bowled by Chamikara Edirisinghe. 122-7
Ian Simpson had made 2 (4 balls) when he was bowled by Edwin Moulton, 125-8, Chamikara Edirisinghe then finished off the Longridge innings having Daniel Wilson caught by Andrew Holdsworth for 1 (4 balls) 126-9, followed by William Vause stumped by Harry Barclay for 0 (1 ball) 126 all out in 46.3 overs
Chamikara Edirisinghe took 5-32 from 13.3 overs, Edwin Moulton 2-29 off 11, Gaurav Dhar 2-35 from 11 and Stuart Naden 1-19 off 11
The Chorley openers Stuart Naden and Wian Van Zyl gave the home team a good start but with the total on 33 Naden was caught by Daniel Wilkinson Jnr off Wiiliam Vause for 16 (14 balls), 33-1.
Vause struck again having Will Moulton caught by James Fairclough for 2 (5 balls). Harry Barclay joined Van Zyle and they batted steadily to victory closing on 127-2 in 31.5 overs, Van Zyl was 80no (109 balls) and Barclay 21no (60 balls)
Garstang v Fleetwood
Garstang won the toss at the Riverside Sports ground and chose to bat, They made 196-5 in their 50 overs thanks to Mark Walling 49, Dan Curwen 44, Michael Wellings 40 and Matthew Crowther 39no
In reply Fleetwood fell just two runs short being bowled out for 194, Neels Bergh top scored with 74 with Toby Lush making 34. The wickets were shared by the Garstang bowlers, Danny Gilbert 3-46 from 12 overs, Michael Walling 2-24 off 7, Ian Walling 2-55 from 17. Punit Bisht 1-27 off 6 and Travis Pieters 1-29 from 8
Leyland v St Annes
St Annes won the toss at the Stanning Memorial ground and elected to bat, they were bowled out in 49.1 overs for 201 with Tim Smithies carrying his bat making 91no in 149 balls. there were contributions from Ben Reader 25 (19 balls), Mohamed Nadeem 18 (23 balls) and Henry Higson 18 (31 balls).
Karl Cross took 3-45 from 14 overs, David Makinson 2-24 off 5, Henry Thompson 2-36 from 7.1 and Kurtis Watson 1-14 off 5
Leyland were made to fight for their runs but ran out winners closing on 204-6 in 48.1 overs. Henry Thompson top scored with 86 (121 balls) ably supported by Saif Badar 52 and Kurtis Watson 30
Matthew Yeadon took 2-38 from 12 overs, Tom Higson 2-40 off 12, Tim Smithies 1-77 from 3 and Tom Bradley 1-52 off 9
Netherfield v Barrow
Barrow won the toss at Parkside road and decided to bat, they had only made five runs when Toby Mowat was bowled by Bevan Small for 5 (8 balls), 5-1. Dineth Thimodya Hewathanthre joined Justin Pringle and they had a stand of 47 when Dineth Thimodya Hewathanthre was caught by James Bowman off Robbie Dwyer for 1(31 balls), 52-2
Glen Kermode came in at no 4 but was soon out caught by Ben Barrow off Joel Blain for 0 (8 balls), 59-3. Justin Pringle had been holding one end but with the score on 75 he was caught by Josh Dixon off Joel Blain for 49 (87 balls), 75-4
Rhys Studt had made five when he fell to the Barrow/Blain combination, 80-5, Jack Hill-Eades had also made five when he was bowled by Bevan Small, 94-6, Joel Blain took his fourth wicket having Matthew Adams caught by Theo Gallagher for 1, 118-7
Lewis Bayman followed only four runs later bowled by Matt Jackson for 0, 122-8, Daryl Wearing had led the Barrow fight back but with the total on 152 he was caught by Ben Barrow off Bevan Small for 45. The innings closed shortly afterwards with Barrow 157-9 in their 50 overs. The not out batsmen were Dan Adams 14 and Gary Collins 1
Joel Blain took 4-40 off 17 overs, Bevan Small 3-28 from 12, Robbie Dwyer 1-31 off 7 and Matt Jackson 1-45 from 12.
The Netherfield opening pair of Ben Barrow and Josh Dixon batted carefully but with the total on 33 Dixon was caught behind by Justin Pringle off Daryl Wearing for 5 (21 balls), 33-1
No 3 was Bevan Small and with Barrow had a stand of 62 runs when Barrow was caught by Daryl Wearing off Gary Collins for 57 (62 balls), Bradley Earl was next in but after facing only three balls was out caught behind by Justin Pringle off Dineth Thimodya Hewathanthre for 0, 96-3
Lewis Edge joined Bevan Small and they took the home side insight of victory when Edge was caught by Gary Collins off Dan Adams for 32 (34 balls), 155-4. victory came soon afterwards with Netherfield 161-4 in 36 overs, Bevan Small was 61no (92 balls) and Theo Gallagher 0no
Dan Adams 1-4 off 2 overs, Dineth Thimodya Hewathanthre took 1-21 from 7, Daryl Wearing 1-28 off 7 and Gary Collins 1-32 from 9
Penrith v Fulwood & Broughton
Penrith won the toss at Tynefield Park and invited the visitors to bat, the opening partnership of Mark Smith and Matthew Rosbottom had made twelve runs when Rosbottom was caught by Nick Hodgson off Asher Hart for 4 (35 balls)
Two runs had been added when Mark Smith was caught by Mark-Lucas Winspear off Greg Hall for 7 (27 balls), 14-2, Matthew Smith and Simon Kerrigan had to fight for their runs but on Smith was caught by Jamie O'Brien off Greg Hall for 19 (26 balls) 41-3
Greg Hall struck again three runs later having Simon Kerrigan caught behind by Alister Craig for 9 (20 balls), 44-4, runs were becoming hard to come by and on 55 Charlie Rossiter was bowled by Asher Hart for 4 (18 balls) 55-5
Asher Hart then took the wicket of Euan Fletcher caught behind by Alister Craig for 4 (20 balls), 62-6, Jon Fenton became Alister Craig's third victim off the bowling of Greg Hall caught for 2 (14 balls) 70-7
Rob Dingle and Lewis Dingle had a stand of 28 runs before Rob was bowled by Samual Hall for 22 (37 balls), 98-8, Chris Brookes soon followed caught behind by Alister Craig off Jamie O'Brien for 2 (5 balls) 101-9
The Fulwood & Broughton innings came to an end on 115 off 38-3 overs when Jamie O'Brien trapped Dominic Jackson lbw for 4 (6 balls). Lewis Dingle was 23no (30 balls)
Greg Hall took 4-37 off 17 overs, Asher Hart 3-53 from 17, Jamie O'Brien 2-5 off 2.3 and Samuel Hall 1-13 from 2
Nicky Burns and Samuel Hall gave the home team a good start with a partnership of 31 when Hall was caught by Simon Kerrigan off Jon Fenton for 20 (19 balls) 31-1, Fenton struck again having Asher Hart caught by Charlie Rossiter for 0 (5 balls), 31-2
Greg Hall battled away but having made 5 in 25 ballls he was caught and bowled by Simon Kerrigan, 38-3, things got worse for the home side with the departure of Nicky Burns caught by Mark Smith off Jon Fenton for 8 (45 balls) 39-4
Nick Hodgson was next out caught by Dominic Jackson off Simon Kerrigan for 0 (9 balls), 46-5, Jon Fenton took his fourth wicket bowling Owen Jones for 6 (17 balls) 46-6. Penrith were in deep trouble and things got worse when Tristan Lundqvist was trapped lbw by Simon Kerrigan for 1 (4 balls), 47-7
Mark-Lucas Winspear became Jon Fenton's fifth wicket caught by Charlie Rossiter for 1 (6 balls), 48-8, Simon Kerrigan then removed Jamie O'Brien caught by Euan Fletcher for 1 (12 balls), 57-9
Penrith were bowled out for 73 in 38.1 overs with Simon Kerrigan bowling Bruce Glendinning for 8 (13 balls), Alister Craig was 13no (33 balls).
Simon Kerrigan 5-15 off 13.2 overs and Jon Fenton took 5-29 from 13.
