The race for the championship hots up, Leaders Fleetwood lose at home to Chorley, Leyland beat Longridge and go top.
There are also wins for Blackpool, Netherfield, Garstang and Penrith
Barrow v Penrith
Penrith won the toss at the Ernest Pass Memorial ground and invited Barrow to bat, Justin Pringle and Ian Allington opened and when the score was on 15 Allington was caught by Tristan Lundqvist off Greg Hall for 8, 15-1
Sam Dixon joined Pringle but on 24 Greg Hall struck again having Pringle caught behind by Alister Craig for 11, 24-2. Dineth Thimodya Hewathanthre was next in and with Dixon battled to turn the innings round
When the total was 70 Jonathon Osborne struck taking four wickets in an over, first Sam Dixon stumped by Alister Craig for 23, 70-3, next ball he trapped Daryl Wearing lbw for 0, 70-4, Two balls later he bowled Glen Kemode for 0, 70-5. Jack Hill-Eades was out first ball bowled for 0, 70-6
Six runs had been added when Jonathon Osborne had his fifth victim trapping Sam Henderson lbw for 4, 76-7. Dineth Thimodya Hewathanthre was next out caught by Jamie O'Brien off Asher Hart for 25, 80-8.
With plenty of overs to go Matthew Adams and Ben Carr dug in and had moved the score to 111 when Adams was out caught and bowled by Tristan Luundqvist for 26, 111-9, the last pair added a further ten runs when Gary Collins was caught behind by Alister Craig off Greg Hall for 4, Barrow being bowled out in 36.3 overs for 121, Ben Carr was undefeated on 8
Jonathon Osborne had figures of 8 overs 5-18, Greg Hall 3-24 from 7.3, Tristan Lundqvist 1-14 off 4 and Asher Hart 1-29 from 12
Penrith were given a good start by Zach Reekie and Nicky Burns with an opening partnership of 41 when Sam Henderson bowled Burns for 21, 41-1. Greg Cameron joined Reekie but fell when he had scored 7 bowled by Glen Kermode. 58-2
Kermode struck again three balls later bowling Owen Jones for 0, 58-3. that was to be Barrow's last success as Zach Reekie and Greg Hall steadily steered the home side to victory closing on 122-3 in 31.4 overs. Reekie was 51no and Hall 36 no

Fleetwood v Chorley
Fleetwood won the toss at Broadwater and decided to bat, they lost two quick wickets and continued to lose wickets regularly throughout their innings with 5 batsmen out in their teens
Fleetwood were bowled out in 45.1 overs for 116, Chamikara Edirisinghe 4-33 from 16.1 overs and Adam McCullagh 3-25 off 6 doing the damage
George Linde gave Fleetwood hope with three early wickets but Harry Barclay 46no and Edwin Moulton 22no saw the visitors home reaching 120-5 in 45 overs. There were contributions of 16 from Chamikara Edirisinghe and 14 from Andrew Holdsworth

Fulwood & Broughton v Blackpool
Fulwood & Broughton won the toss at the Highfield ground and chose to bat, the opening partnership was 17 when Jon Fenton was bowled by Ockert Erasmus for 10, 17-1.
Simon Kerrigan joined Mark Smith and they had moved the score onto 76 when Kerrigan was caught behind by Ben Howarth off Matthew Siddall for 17, 76-2, Matthew Smith was next in but lasted only three balls before he was trapped lbw by Matthew Grindley for 1, 81-3
One run had been added when Mark Smith was caught by Craig Brown off Matthew Siddall for 48, 82-4. Charlie Rossiter and Euan Fletcher batted steadily and their partnership had reached 24 when Fletcher was caught by Ockert Erasmus off Matthew Siddall for 8, 106-5
Siddall struck again shortly afterwards bowling Rob Dingle for 0, 119-6, Ryan Worthington joined Rossiter and they saw the home team to the close of their innings reaching 163-6 in their 50 overs, Rossiter 57no and Worthington 12no
Matthew Siddall bowled 17 overs and took 4-38, Ockert Erasmus took 1-47 from 12 and Matthew Grindley 1-57 off 17
Blackpool got off to a terrible start with Jon Fenton removing both openers, he bowled Matthew Houston for 1, 2-1, then he had Sam Dutton caught behind by Mark Smith for 0, 7-2.
Ockert Erasmus and Joshua Boyne had the task of rebuilding the Blackpool innings, they took the score to 33 when Fenton struck again bowling Joshua Boyne for 18, 33-3. Fenton then took his fourth wicket bowling Craig Brown for 3, 41-4
The Blackpool batsmen were having to fight for their runs and with the total on 69 Andy Furniss was trapped lbw by Chris Brookes for 13, 69-5. Ockert Erasmus was patiently holding up one end but lost Syed Kazmi caught by Rob Dingle off Simon Kerrigan for 14, 90-6
The match could have gone either way when Ben Howarth came to the wicket, he and Erasmus had a partnership of 43 when Howarth was caught by Lewis Dingle off Dominic Jackson for 14 133-7.
Matthew Grindley joined Erasmus and scored at nearly a run a ball to see the visitors home reaching 164-7 in 46 overs. Grindley made 23no in 27 balls and the patient Erasmus 66no in 114 balls
Jon Fenton took 4-31 in 9 overs, Dominic Jackson 1-24 from 7, Chris Brookes 1-26 off 7 and Simon Kerrigan 1-64 from 17
Kendal v Netherfield
Kendal won the toss at Shap Road in the local derby and elected to bat, Saeed Bariwala and Wes Marshall got the home side off to a steady start but with the score on 46 was caught behind by Finlay Richardson off Bevan Small for 20, 46-1
Chris Miller came to the wicket but soon lost his partner Wes Marshall trapped lbw by Matt Jackson for 28, 54-2. two runs had been added when Jackson had Ben Phillips lbw for 1, 56-3, the Kendal batsmen were having to work for their runs and on 69 Terry Hunte was caught by Bevan Small off Samuel Medhurst for 7, 69-4
Chris Miller was next to go caught by Lewis Richardson off Joel Blain for 9, 73-5. Robbie Dwyer got in on the act trapping Saif Vohra lbw for 6, 81-6, Joel Blain took his second wicket having Richard Dakin caught by Ben Barrow for 2, 86-7
Things did not improve for the home side when ten runs later Toby Tyson was caught behind by Finlay Richardson off Bevan Small for 6, 96-8, Joel Blain then finished off the tail having Kuldeep Singh caught by Ben Barrow for 2, 99-9, then bowling Edward Price for 8 102 all out in 42.1 overs
Joel Blain took 4-16 off 14.1 overs, Bevan Small 2-33 from 10, Matt Jackson 2-35 off 8, Samuel Medhurst 1-1 from 5 and Robbie Dwyer 1-8 off 5
In reply the Netherfield batsmen had to work hard for their runs and lost Ben Barrow bowled by Chris Miller for 24 (50 balls), 36-1, Bevan Small was next in but had only made 9 when he was caught by Ben Phillips off Saeed Bariwala, 50-2
Bradley Earl joined Josh Dixon and they took the score to 85 when Earlwas caught by Wes Marshall off Saeed Bariwala for 16, 85-3, Bariwala struck again bowling Fraser Kay for 0, 86-4. that was the last Kendal success as Netherfield closed on 103-4 in 35.1 overs with Josh Dixon 50no and Finlay Richardson 4no

Longridge v Leyland
Leyland won the toss at the Newsham Memorial ground and chose to bat and made 191-9 thanks to openers Henry Thompson 108no (who carried his bat) and Karl Cross 41, Ian Simpson took 5-42 from 16 overs for the home side
In reply Longridge were bowled out for 86 in 27.4 overs with Lachlan Bangs top scoring with 30, John Simpson 17 and James Whitehead 10. Karl Cross took 4-26 from 13.4 overs, Nathan McDonnell 4-30 off 6 and Ross Bretherton 2-28 from 8
St Annes v Garstang
St Annes batted first at Vernon Road and were bowled out for 152 in 47.1 overs, Mohamed Nadeem top scored with 42 with contributions from Richard Staines 25, Tim Smithies 17 and Tom Higson 13
Punit Bisht took 3-22 from 7.1 overs, Travis Pieters 3-47 off 17, Ian Walling 3-54 from 17 and Danny Gilbert 1-23 off 7
In reply Garstang knocked off the runs 38.2 overs closing on 153-6. Punit Bisht lead the way with 55 supported by Mark Waling 29, Michael Wellings 21, Danny Gilbert 14no and Dan Curwen 9no seeing them home.
