The top two win again with wins for Barrow, Fleetwood Netherfield and a first win for Penrith

DIVISION ONE:

Barrow v Morecambe

Morecambe won the toss at the Ernest Pass Memorial ground and put the hosts into bat and had an immediate reward with Jamie Cassidy bowling Robin Adams for 0, 0-1

Toby Mowat and Ryan Gilmour patiently moved the score on and with 40 on the board Jamie Cassidy struck again bowling Toby Mowat for 19

Grant Roelofsen joined Gilmour and they had a stand of 71 when Gilmour was caught by Jamie Heywood off the bowling of Daniel Edwards for 43, 111-3

Greg Reynolds came to the wicket and had made 16 when he was caught by Lewis Smith off Daniel Edwards, 153-4

Grant Roelofsen was next to go after 86 balls making 75 including 9 fours and 1 six caught by Luke Pearson off Zac Buchanan, 170-5

Buchanan struck again without further addition to the score he bowled Tom Penny for 4 171-6, it soon bacame 179-7 when Sam Henderson was caught by Lewis Smith another vitim for Buchanan for 1

179-7 became 180-8 when Buchanan took his fourth wicket that of Patrick Allington bowled for 0

The score had moved on to 189 when Daniel Edwards trapped Glen Kermode lbw for 3, Barrow were all out when Gary Collins was stumped by Reuben Orr off Zac Buchanan for 1, 190 off 49.5 overs

Zac Buchanan had 5-35 off 8.5 overs with Daniel Edwards 3-52 off 17 and Jamie Cassidy 2-29 off 8

The Morecambe reply got off to a slightly better start than the hosts, they had reached 10 when Toby Mowat had Lewis Smith caught behind by Grant Roelofsen for 9

Three balls later without addition Luke Jongwe fell to the Roelofsen/Mowat combination for 0, 10-2

Jamie Heywood and Luke Pearson seemed to have steadied the ship but with the total on 29 Daryl Wearing trapped Jamie Heywood for 9, 29-3, Luke Pearson followed on the same score bowled by Toby Mowat for 7, 29-4

Toby Mowat added to the Morecambe misery by bowling Alex Briggs for 0, 29-5, Reuben Orr joined Ryan Pearson and they took the score to 38 before Orr was bowled by Daryl Wearing for 1

Tommy Clough was the next wicket to fall lbw to Daryl Wearing for 0, 44-7, Ryan Pearson's valiant attempt to stave off defeat ended when he was caught by Ryan Glimour off Greg Reynolds for 23, 56-8

The Morecambe tail fought to save the game but on 73 Zac Buchanan was bowled by Gary Cillins for 4, Jamie Cassidy and Daniel Edwards continued the fight but it was all over when Toby Mowat took his fifht wicket trapping Cassidy lbw for 19

Daniel Edwards remained undefeated on 31 as Morecambe were all out for 109 in 37.4 overs

Toby Mowat was Barrow's best bowler with 5-30 off 15.4 overs ably supported by Daryl Wearing 3-18 from 12, wirh Greg Reynolds 1-20 and Gary Collins 1-35

Blackpool v Leyland

Leyland won the toss at Stanley Park and invited Blackpool to bat, When the score was 19 Ross Bretherton bowled Ciaran Johnson for 4

Joshua Boyne joined Matthew Houston and they took the total to 28 when Houston was caught by Ross Bretherton off Karl Cross for 19, 28-2

Ben Howarth and Boyne had a rartnership of 22 when Howarth became another Cross victim caught behind by Alex Williams for 8, 50-3

The Blackpool professional Jovaun Van Wyngaardt was Boyne's next partner and they had reached 72 when the fourth wicket fell that of Joshua Boyne caught by Karl Cross off Andrew Jacques for 28

Andy Furniss joined Van Wyngaardt and they took control of the match with a parntership of 89 runs when Van Wyngaardt was caught by James Rounding off Andrew Makinson for 46, 161-5

Only eight runs had been added when Furniss was out lbw to Andrew Makinson for 61 off 65 balls including 10 fours, 169-6, this brought Richard Gleeson to the wicket the Northants bowler is recovering from injury

Andrew Makinson struck again shortly afterwards having Jake Muncaster caught behind by Alex Williams for 1, 172-7

Captain Paul Danson had made 13 whaen he was stumped by Alex Williams off Umar Waheed, 189-9, Richard Gleeson was out bowled by Andrew Makinson off the last ball off the innings for 19, 203 all out

Andrew Makinson took 4-50 off 8 overs with Karl Cross 2-57 from 16, Ross Bretherton 1-23, Andrew Jacques 1-34 and Umar Waheed 1-39 off 12

Leyland lost an early wicket Ian Farrington caught by Andy Furniss off Richard Gleeson for 6, 9-1, Tom Reece and Umar Haheed took the score to 30 when Reece was trapped lbw by Jovaun Van Wyngaardt for 16, 30-2

Van Wyngaardt struck again 1 run later having Waheed caught by Andy Furniss for 7, 31-3, Things got worse for Leyland when Matthew Grindley had Ross Bretherton lbw for 6, 44-4

The fifth wicket fell on 52 Andrew Makinson lbw to Matthew Siddle for 12, Captain James Rounding and Karl Croos took the score to 66 when Rounding was bowled for 8, 66-6

Cross was the next wicket to fall lbw to Matthew Grindley for 16, 76-7, Nathan Braithwate fell the next ball agian lbw to Grindley 76-8

Kurtis Watson and Alex Williams rallied until Watson was lbw to Joshua Boyne for 14, 91-9, the innings closed ten runs later when Alex Williams was lbw to Matthew Siddall for 9 leaving Andrew Jacques 4no

Leyland were bowled out for 101 in39.3 overs with the remarkable statistic of 7 lbw's in the Leyland innings

The wickets were shared amongst the Blackpool bowlers, Matthew Grindley 3-19 off 8, Matthew Siddall 2-13 off 7.3 overs with Richard Gleeson 2-17 off 8 and Joshua Boyne 1-21 off 4

Chorley v St Annes

Chorley batted first and were soon in trouble losing early wickets with the St Annes opening bowlers of Ifill and Higson taking two wickets apiece

Stuart Naden was bowled by Higson for 3, Wian Van Zyl caught behind by Richard Staines off Jamar Ifill for 6, Ifill struck again trapping Edwin Moulton lbw for 10, and Higson accounted for Gayan Manasheen well caught by Alex Bradley for 1

Will Moulton and then Alexander Howarth lead the Chorley fight back Howarth 43 and Moulton 40 with contributions of 18 from Andrew Holdsworth, 16 from Harry Barclay and 10 from Ian Oakes saw Chorley reach 174 all out at the close

Jamar Ifill took 4-63 from 17 overs, Tom Higson 3-56 off 16 with Amar Ullah 2-33 from 15

St Annes lost early wickets in their reply, Henry Higson caught behind by Harry Barclay off Edwin Moulton for 1, Jamar Ifill bowled by the same bowler for 15, Will Moulton trapped Mohamed Nadeem lbw for 5

Opener Nathan Armstrong and professional Umar Ullah then took control of the match leaving St Annes insight off victory when they were both victims to Edwin Moulton, Armstrong lbw for 75 and Ullah caught behind by Harry Barclay for 35

Tom Higson 11no and Richard Staines 11no saw the visitors home on 176-5 in 41 overs

Edwin Moulton took 4-40 off 13 overs with Will Moulton 1-16 off 3

Fleetwood v Garstang

Garstang won the toss at Broadwater and invited Fleetwood to bat and they lost two early wickets Matt Clark bowled by Fayaz Ughradar 4 and Sam Bell caught behind by Matthew Crowther off Ian Walling for 7

Opener Jeremy Davies and Professional Neels Bergh dug in and patiently built their innings, Bergh was out for 25 off 45 balls caught by Matthew Crowther off Fayaz Ughradar.

Liam Castellas joined Davies and continued the Fleetwood fight back, Davies was out for 38 off 98 balls bowled by Travis Pieters.

Adam Sharrocks came to the wicket and with Castellas swung the game Fleetwood's way, Castellas was bowled by Wans Khan Ahmadzai for 55 off 65 balls with 6 fours and two sixes

Khan Ahmadzai had Declan Clerkin lbw 3 as Fleetwood closed on 195-6 with Adam Sharrocks undefeated on 59 from 52 balls with 6 fours and 1 six

Wans Kham Ahmadzai took 2-17 from 3, Fayaz Ughradar 2-47 from 17 with Travis Pieters 1-53 and Ian Walling 1-59

The Garstang innings started badly with Tom Wells run out for 0 by Sam Bell, Fayaz Ughradar followed soon after caught behind by Dean Bell off James Amor for 0

Michael Walling and Mark Walling dug in and tried to rebuild the Garstang innings, Michael Walling fell to Damien Huchinson caught by Neels Bergh for 18, Mark Walling was lbw to Sam Bell for 5

Michael Wellings 13, Matthew Crowther 25 and Ian Walling tried to save the match but Garstang were bowled out in 36.1 overs for 93, Wicketkeeper Dean Bell had 4 victims

The wickets were shared amongst the Fleetwood bowlers with Alex Ryder taking 3-17 from 5.3 overs, Damien Hutchinson 3-22 off 4 with Sam Bell 2-17 from 9 and James Amor 1-15 off 5

Netherfield v Fulwood & Broughton

Fulwood and Broughton won the toss and asked the hosts to bat, Openers Ben Barrow and Josh Dixon gave Netherfield a good start with the first wicket falling at 55, Barrow bowled by Chris Brookes for 31

Professional John Boyle joined Dixon but with the score on 71 he was trapped lbw to Chris Brookes for 7, the third wicket fell at 97 when John Huck was also lbw to Chris Brookes for 9

Next in was Bradley Earl and with Josh Dixon took the game in Netherfield's favour with a partnership of 141 when Dixon was bowled by Dominic Jackson for 93, 238-4

The innings closed shortly afterwards Netherfield losing one further wicket Lewis Edge for 0 and they finished on 239-5 in their 46 overs leaving Bradley Earl undefeated on 83

Chris Brookes took 3-40 off 16 overs with Usman Sadaqat and Dominic Jackson taking a wicket apiece

Fulwood & Broughton got off to a diastrous start with Mark Smith out lbw from the fourth ball of the innings to Harrison Cox for 0, 0-1

Rana Pratap Singh Thakur Shiv and Charlie Rossiter fought back when Cox struck having Rossiter caught by Nathan Chambers for 15, 43-2

Simon Kerrigan joined Thakur Shiv and had taken the total to 76 when Ran Pratap Singh Thakur Shiv fell to Marc Hadwin caught by John Huck for 41, 76-3

Unfortunately for Fulwood & Broughton 76-3 became 76-4 when Simon Kerrigan fell lbw to Matt Jackson for 17

The score had moved on to 92 when the fifth wicket fell Matthew Smith caught behind by Lewis Edge off Harrison Cox for 3

Rob Dingle and Ben Parkinson took the score to 101 when diaster struck as the visitors lost three wickets without adding to the total.

Dingle was lbw to Marc Hadwin for 13, Dominic Jackson caught by Josh Dixon again off the bowling of Hadwin and Lewis Edge ran out Chris Brookes for 0, 101-8

The end was nigh and Harrison Cox mopped up the tail bowling Usman Sadaqat for 1 and Matthew Hurst fot 0 as the visitors were bowled out in 28.3 overs for 107

Harrison Cox had 5-41 off 8.5 overs with Marc Hadwin 3-17 from 8 and Matt Jackson 1-21 off 9

Preston v Penrith

Penrith won the toss at West Cliff and asked Preston to bat, Greg Hall struck with his second ball having Nizam Patel caught behind for 0, 0-1

Hall took his second wicket when he had Ragurham Surapaneni caught by Jonathon Osborne for 1, 6-2, Hall had a third victim when Mohammed Harish was caught by Nicky Burns for 6, 11-3

Haroon Patel was the next to go lbw to Ashwin Hebbar for 2, 14-4, Mohammed IIyas and Jitendra Kumar held the innings together for a while until IIyas was bowled by Greg Hall for 10, 42-5

Asif Mahmood joined Kumar and they took the total to 50 when Kumar was bowled by Jonathon Osborne for 21, the seventh wicket fell at 60 when Osborne bowled Imran Pariejwala for 4

Mahmood and Rizwan Patel had taken the score to 80 when Patel was bowled by Jonathon Osborne for 10, 80-8, Osborne took his fourth wicket when he bowled Asif Mahmood for 26, 91-9

Without further addition to the score Tousif Patel was caught by Jonathon Osborne off Greg Hall as Preston were bowled out for 91 in 24.5 overs

Greg Hall took 5-26 off 10.5 overs, Jonathon Osborne 4-30 from 5 and Ashwin Hebbar 1-20 off 7

Preston had early success when Penrith batted Nick Hodgson bowled by Rizwan Patel for 0, 9-1 and Nicky Burns bowled by Asif Mahmood for 5, 33-2

That was the only success the Preston bowlers had as Penrith knocked off the runs without further loss closing on 94-2 in 20 overs with Ashwin Hebbar 57no and Jonathon Osborne 13 no

For Preston Rizwan Patel had 1-16 from 4 and Asif Mahmood 1-16 off 5
