DIVISION ONE:

Fulwood & Broughton v Preston

Preston won the toss at Highfield and decided to bat, they lost two early wickets Raghuram Surapaneni bowled by Chris Brookes for 0 and nizam Patel run out for 1

Mohammed Harish and Jitendra Kumar began the fight back but when they were out Harish 13 and Kumar 26 only top scorer Harron Patel 48 and Rizwan Patel 14 showed any resistence as Preston were bowled out for 132 in 45.1 0vers

Arab Muir was Fulwood & Broughton's top wwicket taker with 4-27 off 13.1 overs supported by Matthjew Smith 3-34 off 10 with Chris Brookes 1-25, Richard Turner 1-16 and Usam Sadaqat 1-14

The Fulwood & Broughton innings started with the loss of any early wicket but Amin Patel and Mark Smith moved the match in favour of the home team. Smith made 31 and Patel 43, Simon Kerrigan 46no and Charlie Rossiter 12no saw them home closing on 136-3 in 22 overs

Garstang v Chorley

Chorley won the toss at the Riverside Sports ground and invited the hosts to bat

Garstang lost 3 early wickets, Tom Wells caught by Stuart Naden off the bowling of Edwin Moulton for 9, Fayaz Urghradar was caught by Wian Van Zyk off James Lee for 4 and Mark Walling lbw to Joe Barker for 6

Scores from Michael Wallings 31, 22 from Michael Wellings, 14 for Michael Crowther and laterly 18no from Mark Winstanley and 15 no from Danny Gilbert saw Garstang reach 155-8 in ther 50 overs

Stuart Naden was the pick of the Chorley bowlers with 3-35 off 10, Edwin Moulton 2-38 from 9, James Lee, Joe Barker and Will Moulton each took a wicket

The Chorley reply faired no better than the Garstang innings losing Stuart Naden bowled by Ian Walling for 0 and Edwin Moulton lbw to Danny Gilbert for 0

Wian Van Zyl and Gayan Maneeshan fought to retrieve the sistuation, Maneeshan fell to Travis Pieters caught by Matthew Crowther for 27, 3 more wickets followed until Alender Howarth stood firm.

Van Zyl's patient innings came to a close when he was caught behind by Matthew Crowther off the bowling of Fayaz Ughradar for 63, Ughradar then bowled Ian Oakes for 2 and Joe Barker was caght by Matthew Crowther off Ian Walling for 1

The innings came to a close when James Lee was run out for 12 by Ian Walling with the score on 137 and 47 overs, Alexaner Howarth remained undeated on 17

Fayaz Ughradar had 4-22 from 15 overs, Travis Pieters 2-28 off 13, Ian Walling 2-29 from 11 and Danny Gilbert 1-29

Leyland v Fleetwood

Leyland won the toss at the Stanning Memorial Ground and elected to bat, Ian Farrington made 13 then Tom Reece and Umar Waheed took control of the game, Waheed was caught by Jeremy Davies for 79 and Reece caught by Neels Bergh for 78 both off the bowling of Alex Ryder

The innings closed after 50 overs with Leyland on 219-5, Alex Ryder with 3-62 off 13 overs and Joe Bell 2-20 off 4 were the Fleetwood wicket takers

In reply Fleetwood lost Matt Clark for 8 caught by Ian Farrington off the bowling of Karl Cross, Cross struck again having the prize wicket of Neels Bergh lbw for 5

Fleetwood wickets fell at regular intervals,Jeremy Davies run out for 22, Declan Clerkin caught by Tom Reece off Cross for 10, Cross also removed Liam Castellas caught by Ross Bretherton for 16 and Adam Shorrocks caught behind by Alex Williams for 1

Alex Ryder and Joe Bell showed some resistence but both fell for 22 and Fleetwood were bowled out for 121 in 38.4 overs

Karl Cross finished with 5-46 from 15 overs, Kurtis Watson took 2-13 off 4 with Umar Waheed 1-25 and Andrew Jacques 1-13

Morecambe v Netherfield

Morecambe won the toss at Woodhil Lane and chose to bat, openers Lewis Smith and Luke Pearson got them off to a good start taking the score to 40 when Smith was lbw to John Boyle for 17

Pearson and Luke Jongwe took the total to 73 when Pearson was caught behind by Lewis Edge off the bowling of Marc Hadwin for 47,

Jamie Heywood joined Longwe and the score was 130 when the third wicket fell Jamie Heywood bowled by Matt Jackson for 30

There followed a 65 run partnership between Longwe and captain Ryan Pearson, Longwe was out for 54 (86 balls) caught by John Huck off the bowling of Harrison Cox

195-4 soon became 199-5 when Ryan Pearson was bowled by Nathan Chambers for 37, Daniel Edwards quickly followd bowled by Harrison Cox for 1 202-6, Alex Briggs chipped in with 21no from 9 balls with the Morecambe innings closing on 224-6

For Netherfield Harrison Cox had 2-48 off 11, all the other bowlers took a wicket each

The Netherfield reply had a disastrous start due to Jamie Cassidy as he reduced the visitors to 17-3, 15-1 Bradley Earl caught by Alex Briggs for 7 then bowling Ben Barrow 15-2 followed soon after having John Boyle caught behaind by Reuben Orr for 0

Josh Dixon and John Huck steadied the ship but on 38 Dixon was caught by wicketkeeper Orr for 5 off the bowling of Daniel Edwards, 38-4

Lewis Edge and Huck took the score to 55 when the fifth wicket fell to Tommy Clough, Edge caught by Reuben Orr for 9

Lewis Richardson joined Huck and they set about rebuilding the Netherfield innings and had reached 123 a partnership of 68 when Richardson was bowled by Daniel Edwards for 36. 123-6

Harrison Cox came to the wicket and he and Huck took the total to 163 when he was out for 26, Nathan Chambers joined Huck and they saw the vistisors to the close with the score 190-7 off their 50 overs

John Huck was 71no from 135 balls and 7 fours with Chambers 16no from 21, Jamie Cassidy took 4-55 from 12 overs, Daniel Edwards 2-65 off 17 and Tommy Clough had the figures of 13 overs 5 maidens 13 runs 1 wicket

Penrith v Barrow

Penrith won the toss at Tynefield Park and decided to bat, they had reached 31 when the first wicket fell Nick Hodgson caught behind by Grant Roelofsen off Toby Mowat's bowling for 18

Nicky Burns joined Ashwin Hebbar and they took the total to 153-2 when Burns fell lbw to Patrick Allington for 55, Allington struck again having Greg Cameron lbw for 3, 158-3

Greg Hall became Hebbar's next patner and they took the score to 209 when Hebbat was out stumped by Grant Roelofsen off the bowling of Daryl Wearing for a magnificent 112 (14x4 3x6), 209-4

The next wicket fell at 224 when Greg Hall fell to the Roelfsen/Wearing combination caught behind for 16, the sixth wicket fell at 230 Alister Craig another Roelofsen victim this time off the bowling of Toby Mowat out fot 15

The innings quickly closed with Penrith 231-6 off their 50 overs, Daryl Wearing had 2-22 off 11 overs, Patrick Allington 2-44 off 9 and Toby Mowat 2-89 from 17

Barrow got off to a steady start but on 36 Robin Adams fell to Greg Hall caught behind by Alister Craig for 15, Toby Mowat and Ryan Gilmour had taken the score to 66 when Mowat was caught by Eddie Robson off Hall for 40, 66-2

A partnership of 33 between Reolofsen and Gilmour was ended when Roelofsen was caught by wicketkeeper Craig off the bowling of Ashwin Hebbat for 23, 99-3

99-3 soon became 104-4 when Ryan Gilmour was run out by Alister Craig for 12, Jack Hill-Eades became another Hebbar vitim lbw for 6, 115-5

Barrow were in trouble and it was Tom Penny and Daryl Wearing who dug in to try and save the game, they had taken the score to 156 when Greg Hall struck bowling Tom Penny for 22, he then had Patrick Allington caught by Craig for 0, 156-7

Wearing was still there but on 180 he became Greg Hall's fifht victin caught by Samuel Hall for 41, the innings came to a close shortly afterwards with Barrow 187-8 off their 50 overs

Greg Hall finished with his third 5 wicket haul of the season with 5-57 off his 17 overs, Ashwin Hebbar had 2-29 from 11

St Annes v Blackpool

On a sunny but windy day at Vernon Road Blackpool for the third week in a row took on one of the top sides, St Annes won the toss and put the visitors into bat and were soon among the wickets when Jamar Ifill had Ciaran Johnson caught by Henry Higon for 8 and Matthew Houston was bowled by the first ball of Amar Ullah's spell for 14

Jovaun Van Wyngaardt soon followed for 4 stumped by Richard Staines off the bowling of Tom Higson, Joshua Boyne and Ben Howarth fought back until Higson struck again having Howarth caught by Nathan Armstrong for 20

Andy Furniss and Boyne started to rebuild the Blackpool innings but the introduction of Mohamed Nadeem into the attack resulted in the wicket of Furniss caught by Henry Higson for 34, Jake Muncaster made 15 and Joshua Boyne was out for 50 (121 balls) again caught by Henry Higson this time off the bowling of Jamar Ifill

The Blackpool innings closed on 170-8 from their 50 overs, Jamar Ifill taking 4-21 off 9 overs, Tom Higson 2-49 from 13 and Amar Ullah 1-45off 17

St Annes were soon in trouble with Jovaun Van Wyngaardt removing both openers Henry Higson bowled for 8 and Nathan Armstrong caught behind by Ben Howarth for 7, Matthew Grindley then had Jamar Ifill another Howarth vitim for 6

Mohamed Nadeem and Amar Ullah steadily brought St Annes back into the game until Ullah was bowled by Joshua Boyne for 15, Naddem was caught by Jovaun Van Wyngaardt off Matthew Siddall for 44, Tom Higson joined Richard Staines and they took the game to Blackpool

Staines made 15 caught by Matthew Siddall off the bowling of Joshua Boyne for 15, Higson took St Annes in with a chance of victory but was bowled by Matthew Grindley for 41, Matthew Yeadon struck a quick 11 before being caught by Matthew Houston off Matthew Grindley

The last wicket pair of Andy Drake and Nathan Bend took the scores level but in the last over of the day needing 1 run for victory Bend was bowled by Jovaun Van Wyngaardt for 5 the result a tie, Andy Drake was 10no

Matthew Grindley was the Blackpool top wicket taker with 4-55 from 14 with Jovaun Van Wyngaardt 3-35 off 12.2. Joshua Boyne had 2-37 from 14 and Matthew Siddall 1-35 from 9
