Garstang draw at Stanley Park but remain at the top, There are wins for Barrow, Fleetwood, Morecambe, Netherfield and St Annes

DIVISION ONE:

Barrow v Fulwood & Broughton

Fulwood & Broughton won the toss at the Ernest Pass Memorial Ground and elected to bat

They lost three ealy wickets, Ross Dingle 5, Charlie Rossiter 1 and Simon Kerrigan 0 when Matthew Smith joined Rana Pratap Singh Thakur Shiv and they began to steady the ship

When they were out Rana Pratap Singh Thakur Shiv for 30 and Smith for 18 the Barrow spinner Gary Collins took centre stage taking 5-36 off 13 overs as Fulwood & Broughton were bowled out for 109 with only Richard Turner with 41 showing any resistance

The other Barrow bowlers supported Collins, Daryl Wearing 2-14 from 12, Toby Mowat 2-39 off 12 and Greg Reynolds 1-17 off 13

Barrow were made to fight for their victory Matthew Smith taking two early wickets, They continued to lose wickets but Greg Reynolds 28, Robin Adams 14 and Tovy Mowat 11 saw Barrow close in thir goal

It was 22 from Sam Henderson which gave the home side the momentum and Glen Kermode 17no and Jordan Nicholson 3no saw Barrow home on 110-7 in 46.5 overs

Matthew Smith took 3-27 from 11 overs, Chris Brookes had the remarkable figures of 17 overs 12 maidens 12 runs 2 wickets, Ewem Mansford had 1-16 and Richard Turner 1-17

Blackpool v Garstang

Blackpool won the toss at Stanley Park and decided to bat which looked like a bad decision when Tomas King was caught by Matthew Crowther off Ian Walling's bowling for 0, 1-1

Walling struck again bowling opener Matthew Houston for 5, 13-2, things did not improve for the home side when Jovaun Van Wyngaardt became another Walling victim lbw for 7 17-3

On 26 Blackpool lost their fourth wicket Ben Howarth caught behind by Matthew Crowther off Danny Gilbert for 8

Andy Funiss came to the wicket and with Joshua Boyne and they took control with a partnership of 93 took the total to 119-5 when Furniss was lbw to Travis Pieters for 52

Captain Paul Danson with Boyne took the total to 147 when Boyne on 67 off 107 balls was out lbw to Michael Walling

Travis Pieters struck again having Jake Muncaster caught by Ian Walling for 8 153-7, Matthew Grindley joined Danson and they took the score to 180-8 when Grindley was caught behind for 12 off the bowling of Ian Walling

Walling struck again having Matthew Siddall stumped by Matthew Crowther for 0 181-9, the innings closed without further addition to the score leaving Blackpool 181-9 off their 50 overs

Ian Walling was the pick of the Garstang bowlers with 5-31 fromm 11 overs, Trvis Pieters had 2-35, Danny Gilbert 1-31 and Michael Walling 1-39

The Garstang reply followed the patten of the first innings Tom Wells caught by Jake Muncaster off the bowling of Jovaun Van Wyngaardt for 2, 7-1, Michael Walling went next bowled by Van Wyngaardt for 4 13-2

Michael Walling and Michael Wellings worked to rebuild the innings but Walling was out caught by Joshua Boyne off Van Wyngaardt for 14 31-3, Fayaz Ughradar joined Welling and they patiently built their innings

Matthew Siddall was introduced into the attack and had Wellings caught and bowled for 22 off 55 balls followed soon after with the wicket off Matthew Crowther caught by Van Wyngaardt for 6 62-5

Mark Winstanley and Ughradar slowing moved the score along to 107 when Siddall struck again having Ughradar caught by Tomas King for 37 off 102 balls 117-6

The score had moved on to 132 when the seventh wicket fell Mark Winstanley caught by Tomas King bowled Siddall for 33 off 69 balls

Ian Walling made 11 145-8 and Travis Pieters 5 148-9 both bowled by Van Wyngaardt, the innings closed after their 50 overs with Garstang 150-9

Van Wyngaardt was Blackpool most potent bowler with 5-56 off 12 and Mattew Siddall 4-42 off 13

Fleetwood v Chorley

Chorley won the toss at Broadwater and invited the hosts to bat

Fleetwood lost both openers early Paul Willis for 6 and Mat Clark 15, Dean Bell took control of the innings making 75 off 103 balls hitting 9 fours assisted by Adam Shorrocks with 27 off 40

Fleetwood were bowled out for 193 with all the Chorley bowlers taking a wicket with Gaurav Dhar taking 3-50

The Chorley reply never got off the ground openers Stuart Naden 11 and Wian Van Zyl 20 got them started but the introduction of Neels Bergh saw things swing in Fleetwood's favour

In 9.2 overs he took 5-17 ably supported by Sam Bell 3-38 Declan Clerkin 1-1 and Danien Hutchinson 1-30 Chorley were bowled out in 28.2 overs for 95

Leyland v St Annes

Leyland won the toss at the Stanning Memorial Ground and put St Annes into bat

St Annes dad made 26 runs when Muhammad Imran Sadiq was out lbw to Karl Cross for 15, there followed a partnership of 102 between Henry Higson and Jamar Ifill, St Annes were 128 when Higson was caught by Ross Bretherton off the bowling of Andrew Jacques for 43 off 88 balls

No further runs had been scored when Ifill was bowled by Karl Cross for 67 off 58 balls including 5 fours and 4 sixes 128-3, Andrew Jacques had Mohamed Nadeem caught by Alex Williams for 0 128-4

Amar Ullah and Nathan Armstrong steadied the ship and took the score to 155 when Armstrong was run out by Umar Waheed for 12, Richard Staines was caught by Alex Williams off the bowling of Umar Waheed for 5 166-6

166-6 became 166-7 when Andy Drake was caught and Bowled for 0 by Andrew Jacques, Tom Bradley with Ullah had taken the total to 179 when Bradley was another Jacques victim caught by Jake Peake for 5

Amar |Ullah was nineth out with the score on 210 for 48 from 58 balls, Matthew Yeadon was out caught off the last ball by Umar Waheed off the bowling of Jacques for 6 leaving St Annes 211 all out

Andrew Jacques was Leyland's outstanding bowler with 6-40 from 12 with Karl Cross 2-55from 17 with Umar Waheed 1-69

Matthew Yeadon got St Annes off to a flying start bowling Jake Peake for 1 3-1, Umar Waheed and Tom Reece set about getting the Leyland innings on track, but with the score on 54 Muhammad Imran Sadiq struck having Tom Reece caught by Jamar Ifill for 29, 54-2

Two runs later Imran-Sadiq struck again taking the wicket of Waheed caught by Jamar ifill for 23, 56-4, Nathan Braithwaite and Ross Bretherton had taken the score to 71 when Braithwaite was Amar Ullah's first victim caught by Jamar Ifill for 9

It became 82-5 when Ross Bretherton was bowled by Amar Ullah for 3, Ullah struck againg having Karl Cross caught by Mohamed Nadeem for 20, 97-6

The total had reached 101 when Jamar Ifill took his third catch of the innings that of Will Monks for 0 off the bowling of Amar Ullah 101-7

James Rounding the Leyland captain was caught by Andy Drake off the bowling of Muhammad Imran-Sadiq for 9 102-8, Leyland lost their last two wickets without further addition to the score being bowled out for 102 in 39 overs

Amar Ullah had figures 5-18 off 15 overs and Muhammad Imran- Sadiq 4-37 from 12

Morecambe v Penrith

Penrith won the toss and asked Morecambe to bat and were bowled out in 49.5 overs for 123, the main contributors to the total were Reuben Orr 28, Luke Jongwe 25, Ryan Pearson 23 and 20 from no 10 Lloyd Smith

The wickets were shared out with Ashwin Hebbar 2-22, Jonathon Osborne 2-29, Greg Hall 2-33, Bruce Glendinning 1-11 with 3 run outs

The Penrith innings was a disaster only Nicky Burns with 13 making double figures as Tommy Clough devestated the Penrith innings taking 6-17 off 11 overs as Penrith were bowled out for 45 in 22.1 overs

Luke Jongwe took 1-17 from 7 and Daniel Edwards 1-5 off 4.1

Netherfield v Preston

Netherfield won the toss at West Cliff and invited the hosts to bat, they were soon 17-3 when Raghurenan Surapaneni and Jitendra Kumar grafted to try and rescue the situation but when they were out, Surapaneni for 16 and Kumar 26 the Preston innings collapsed to 80 all out in 30.4 overs

The wickets were shared out amongst the Netherfield bowlers, Marc Hadwin 3-11, Harrison Cox 3-18, Nathan chambers 3-19 and Lewis Richardson 1-10

Netherfield knocked off the runs in 12.4 overs losing 2 wickets at 82 -2, Rizwan Patel taking the two wickets for 25, Bradley Earl for 21 and Ben Barrow for 4 as John Boyle 30no and John Huck 20no saw Netherfield home
