Barrow won the toss at the Ernest Pass Memorial ground and elected to bat
They reached 31 when Jamie Pinfold was caught behind by Richard Staines off Matthew Yeadon for 25
There followed a disaster as the Barrow innings collapsed being bowled out for 53 in 27.4 overs
9 wickets fell for 22 runs with Tom Higson taking 5-5 off 6.4 overs. Matthew Yeadon finished with 2-27 off 7
In reply St Annes knocked off the runs in 14.3 overs closing on 55-1 Atiq Uz Zaman unbeaten on 29 and Agha Durrani 22
Blackpool v Chorley
Blackpool were put into bat at Stanley Park and were 187-5 in their 50 overs.
The opening partnership of Matthew Houston and Ciaran Johnson was 55 when Houston was out for 30
Johnson soon followed two runs later for 18, Ockert Erasmus and Dan Barling tok the score to 118 when Barling eas out for 23
Andy Furniss joined Erasmus and was out lbw for 10 with the score 149-4
Erasmus was out on 182-5 for 76 and shortly after the Blackpool innings closed on 187-5
The Chorley reply started badly being 0-1, Andrew Holdsworth joined Edwin Moulton and they took the score to 59 when Holdsworth was out for 23
Moulton was out on 73 for 31, wickets fell on regular intervals and Kyle Dixon 32 and Andy Flear 15 stopped the rot
It was left to Ian Oakes 1no and James Lee 1no to see Chorley to the close on 137-8
Ockert Erasmus was the pick of the Blackpool bowlers with 3-30 off 17 overs and Tom Jefferson had 2-57 off his 17 overs
Fleetwood v Preston
Fleetwood won the toss and decided to bat at Braodwater
What followed was a run fest with Dean Bell scoring 158 off 135 balls hitting 25x4 supported by Jarrod Coombe 47 and Tom Wilson 40 as Flewetwood closed on 303-7 off 50 overs
Preston started their reply well with Sajid Patel and Geeth Malinda, Patel out for 22, Irshad Desai joined Malinda and they gave Preston hope
Malinda was run out for 54 and Desai 56 caught behind by Dean Bell off Joe Bell as Preston were bowled out for 151 in 44.1 overs
For Fleetwood Joseph McCluskie took 3-32, Neels Berg 3-55 off 17, Joe Bell 2-4 and Jarrod Coombe 1-27
Lancaster v Leyland
Leyland won the toss at Lune road and invited the hosts to bat
Lancaster were bowled out for 101 in 41 overs with Jamie Heywood 23 and Kieran Moffat 23 their top scorers
Ross Bretherton was main wicket taker with 5-31 off 13 overs but the day belongs to David Makinson who with his second wicket became the leading wicket taker in Northern League history
David finished with 4-15 off 12 overs and Kurtis Watson took the other wicket
Leyland knocked off the runs in in 24 overs closing on 102-4
Morecambe v Netherfield
This years champions had a fright at Woodhill Lane, put in to bat they were bowled out for 94
John Huck top scored with 20, Tommy Clough 5-25 in 12.4 overs doing the damage
The champions soon hit back and bowled the hosts out for 75 in 26.1 overs thanks to Marc Hadwin 4-19 and Tom Williamson 3-19
The Morecambe sub pro Imran Khalid tried valiantly to steer the hosts to victory but was out for 50
Penrith v Kendal
Kendal won the toss and chose to bat at Tynefield Park
There followed another batting collapse to 32-6, Edward Price with Joseph Dodds took the score to 58 when he was out for 10
Jason Dawes joined Dodds and they took the score to 85 when Dodds was out for 25, Kendal were all out two runs later for 87 in 41 overs with Dawes 18no
Greg Hall was the Penrith hero with 5-35 off 17 with Nick Benton taking the last two wickets and finishing with 3-24
In reply Penrith were 14-2 but Jesse Dinnie 43no and Nick Benton 39no eased the hosts home on 89-2 in just 15.1 overs
