DIVISION ONE:

Chorley v Barrow

The Match was abandoned without a ball being bowled

Kendal v Fleetwood

Fleetwood won the toss and asked Kendal to bat with Sam Bell making inroads in the Kendal top order

He removed Ryan Shepherd 5, Oliver Tyson 3 and Zacharie McCaskie 4 leaving Kendal 16-3

Ben Phillips and Finlay Richardson began the recovery when Ben Phillips was out to James Amor for 10 with the scoreon 58

Finlay Richardson was out for 51 lbw to Neels Bergh with the total on 88-5 then the rains came and the match was abandoned

Sam Bell had figures of 3-19 off 11 overs

Leyland v Blackpool

Blackpool won the toss and invited Leyland to bat in a reduced over game.

Tom Reece and Henry Thompson giving them a good start but when Reece was out for 26 Thompson took control and was out for 59 as Leylaned closed on 127-5

The Blackpool reply was a diaster as they were bowled out for 79 in 26 overs with only no 9 Jake Muncaster 39 and opener Matthew Houston 11 reaching double figures

Karl Cross was the B|lackpool destroyer with 6-30 off 13 overs supported by Ross Bretherton 3-13 off 7 and 1-10 for David Makinson

Penrith v Morecambe

The match was abandoned without a ball being bowled

Preston v Lancaster

Preston were asked to bat first and scored 160-8 in a reduced over game, Lukman Vahaluwala made 77 and Geeth Malinda 29

Callum East had the best bowling figures for Lancaster with 4-21

In reply Lamcaster were bowled out for 92 in 30.2 overs Jitendra Kumar 5-15 and Lukman Vahaluwala 3-18 doing the damage

Lancaster's top scorer was no 8 Brendan Hetherington with 28

St Annes v Netherfield

St Annes were put into bat and after the loss of their first wicket for 19 saw a stand with Agha Mustafa Durrani and Matthew Breetzke as they took the score to 55

Breetzke was out with a spectacular one handed catch by John Huck for 11 and there followed a collapse as St Annes were reduced to 76-7.

Richard Staines held the innings togeter with an unbeaten 39 as the innings closed on 141-9

James Park Johnson with 4-25 was the main wicket taker with Daryn Smit taking 3-30

Bradley Earl gave Netherfield the start they required with 43 in 26 balls out of 59 falling to Matthew Breetzke

Two further wickets fell with Netherfield at 80-3 when John Huck joined Daryn Smit and they saw Netherfield home closing on 142-3 in 29.3 overs

Daryn Smit was 49no and John Huck was 21no, Matthew Breetzke finnished with 2-27

Division 2 Round Up:

Barrow v Chorley

Chorley were put in to bat and scored 230-6 in their 45 overs thanks to Andy Flear 76no, Joseph Tiffin 59 and Matthew Sedgman 58

Barrow in their reply made 140-4 in their 45 overs with Tom Milligan top scoring with 48no supported by Robin Adams with 43

Blackpool v Leyland

Blackpool were asked to bat first and after the loss of an early wicket looked to set for a good total with Tomas King 40 and Dylan Henshall 28 as they took the score to 72

Two wickets fell on 83 as Blackpool struggled and reached 128-9 in their 45 overs

Andrew Jacques was Leyland's best bowler with 5-31 off 12 overs supported by Michael Birchall 2-23 off 11 and Will Smith 1-20

The Leyland reply was steady and they knocked off the runs ending at 129 -2 with James Chaplin 76no

Fleetwood v Kendal

Kendal won the toss and invited the hosts to bat

Kendal had some early success with the removal of the openers Paul Willis 15 and Wayne Clarke 13

This brought Michael Clinning and Jeremy Davies together and they took control of the match, Cliining was out for 60 and Davies was undefeated on70 as Fleetwood made 188-4 in their 45 overs

Tom Aspinwall was the pick of the Kendal bowlers with 2-25 off 10 overs

Lachlan Stewart with 37 gave Kendal some hope but wickets fell at regular intervals and Marcus Hill wiht 29 tried vainly to avoids defeat as Kendal were bowled out for 127 with the last ball of the game

Lancaster v Preston

Lancaster put Preston into bat and kept them to 141-8 in 45 overs, the main contibutors being Mohammed Llyas 34, Amjad Malik 26 and Akmal Shah 24

Lancaster's best bowler was Stuart Phillips with 4-26 off 10 overs

Lancaster knocked off the runs reaching 142-2 in 32.2 overs Lee Marshll 84no leading the charge with Jordan Sparks chipping in with 31

Morecambe v Penrith

Invited to bat Morecambe scored 236-8 in 42 overs Phil Thornton 76 leading the way with Faruk Patel 43, Izhar Ullah 39 and Muhammed Patel 37 joining in the run fest

Charlie Hansford took 3-44 with Dewald Berger 2-46 and Jamie Parker 2-50

The Penrith reply never got off the ground as they were bowled out in 33 overs for 64 Uzair Shah taking 6-7

Netherfield v St Annes

St Annes were put into bat and made 144-4 in their 45 overs, Josh Taylor top scored with 39 with contributions of 31 from David Watson and 31no from Nathan Bend

Netherfield were made to fight for their victory, Richard Thomas taking 3 wickets to have them 18-3.

However Joe Atkinson 54, Graham Dodds 37 and 26 from Gary Baker swung the game in Netherfields favour and they closed on 145-6 in 37.1 overs

Richard Thomas finished with 3-33 off 10 overs
