DIVISION ONE:
Barrow v Chorley - Ernest Pass Memorial Ground
Chorley took the lion's share of the points on a damp day at Ernest Pass as Barrow's lower order fought to keep the Windsor Park attack at bay.
Batting first Chorley were soon in trouble as Javed Khan 2-53 removed Andrew Holdsworth and Ian Dickinson before Wihan Lubbe 15, Stuart Naden 17 and Will Moulton 39 began to get the scoreboard moving for the Windsor Park side.
When Gary Collins 3-45 removed both Naden and Moulton it sparked something of a collapse as the Chorley middle order failed to capitalise on a reasonable start.
Fortunately Joe Tiffin 33 and Ed Moulton 31no batted watchfully as they began to rebuild the innings, a few lusty blows from the aforementioned pair managed to get Chorley to a total of 170-8 at the 37 over mark.
With Kaustubh Pawar in fine form Barrow would have held some confidence in their chasing abilities but in a rare failure for the man from the subcontinent, he was removed for nought as he was caught at the wicket off the bowling of Ed Moulton.
Skipper Toby Mowat 31 and Sam Dutton 30 began to rebuild the innings for the Cumbrian side but after Ian Oakes 2-28 and Wihan Lubbe 4-29 removed them Barrow began to struggle as the Chorley attack put the squeeze on and began to pick up regular wickets, fortuitously for Barrow Chris D'Leny and Ryan Gilmour were solid in defence as they guided Barrow to safety at 121-7 from their allocation.
Darwen v Morecambe - Birch Hall
Match abandoned without a ball being bowled.
Lancaster v Penrith - Lune Road
Match abandoned without a ball being bowled.
Leyland v Kendal - Fox Lane
Match abandoned without a ball being bowled.
Netherfield v Fleetwood - Parkside Road
Netherfield collected 15 points as they annihilated their visitors from the Fylde Coast in a reduced overs game at Parkside Road.
After winning the toss and electing to bat the Netherfield top order batted watchfully in the face of some accurate bowling from Travis Dean 1-40 and Adam Parker 3-82.
Ben Phillips 40 and Ben Barrow 20 added 62 as they laid a foundation for the powerful Netherfield middle order.
This set the stage for Tom Bruce and John Huck and they certainly played their part as Bruce hit a blistering 112 from just 71 balls in an innings which included ten sixes, not one to be outdone Huck also batted with haste as he hit 59 from 52 balls in a partnership of 145 with the New Zealander as they guided Netherfield to a very healthy 261-6 from their 40 overs.
For Fleetwood all was progressing serenely as Adam Parker and Travis Dean made their way to 28-0, however, what followed was far from serene as Nathan Chambers and Dan Ingham set about the Fleetwood batsmen.
Chambers who went on to collect 4-24 removed both openers and Dean Bell at three before Ingham got into his stride and decimated the Broadwater middle order in picking up 6-13 from 7.3 overs as Fleetwood were reduced to 47 all out in the 15th over with all 10 wickets falling in 48 balls.
St Annes v Blackpool - Vernon Road
St Annes picked up 15 points as they came out on top in the Fylde Coast derby as Blackpool could not capitalise on the abandonment of the game at Fox Lane on a dreary afternoon at Vernon Road.
After winning the toss and electing to bat St Annes got off to a poor start as Luke Wilks was removed by Jamie Thomson 1-9 and Tom Higson was removed by Daryl Mitchell 1-75, this brought Shadley Van Schalkwyk 57 to the crease and he began to score quickly as he and Gurman Bains 39 combined to get the innings moving for the Vernon Road side.
Van Schalkwyk batted with power as he took advantage of anything loose from the Blackpool attack, which finally made a breakthrough when Bains was adjudged LBW to the off spin of Joshua Boyne 3-36 who removed De Wet Swart with his next delivery.
Richard Staines then added some impetus to the innings as he scored a quick fire 29, in an innings which included a splendid straight six off the bowling of Mitchell as St Annes finished on 149-7 from their 33 overs.
The Stanley Park side made a steady start in their chase as Matthew Houston 48 and Ciaran Johnson 9 picked up runs at a good rate but after St Annes changed their ploy, Blackpool wickets began to fall at an alarming rate as Shadley Van Schalkwyk bowled with unwavering pace and accuracy in a 17 over spell to take 7-42, bulldozing the Blackpool lower order in the process.
This left Blackpool 104 all out in the final over as Josh Boyne 26 fell agonisingly short of restricting the damage to a losing draw as he inside edged the third ball of the last over onto his pad and Tom Higson moved sharply to take a smart catch to give St Annes victory.

Division Two
Division 2 Round Up:
A damp June day lead to all but two of the matches in Division Two being abandoned at various stages of proceedings.
The games at West Cliff Blackpool v St Annes and Windsor Park were abandoned without a ball being delivered whilst the games at Woodhill Lane and Tynefield Park were abandoned after play started as the rain beat the best efforts of the players and ground staff.
In the two games that went ahead the outcomes were very similar as both Netherfield and Leyland picked up crucial victories in their hunt for silverware.
In the game at Shap Road, Ian Farrington won the toss and had little hesitation in asking Kendal to bat and he was quickly rewarded as the top order was removed by Elliot Boardman 4-30 and Ellis Robinson 4-11.
There was some resistance from the middle order as Alec Carradus 19 and Bailey Carlos 19 tried to steer Kendal to a good total but it was not to be as they were removed by Robinson and Farrington respectively and the innings fell away, leaving Kendal 101 all out at the start of the 39th over.
In return Leyland wasted little time in knocking off the runs as Tom Reece 73 and Lloyd Tennant 27 put on an unbeaten 105 for the first wicket, Reece scored at quite the rate as his runs came in just 51 balls and included eight fours and three sixes.
At Fleetwood, Netherfield elected to field first in a game which was reduced to 25 overs per side.
Things started brightly as Paul Wills and Zack Coultas were removed for a combined total of 12, Andy Singleton offered some resistance as he hit 40 but that was it for Fleetwood as the lower order collapsed under close examination from Lewis Richardson who collected 4-7 in four overs leaving Fleetwood 83 all out at the 25 over mark.
Netherfield did not have it all their own way as their chase began scratchily with Tom Clarke 3-36 and Jack Wilkinson 2-26 bowling well to remove the top order. Fortunately for the Parkside Road outfit Oliver Hill 28no and Matthew Atkinson 20 combined to steer Netherfield past the winning post in the 19th over leaving the Cumbrian side 15 points clear at the top of the table.
