Darwen went top of Division 1 after their 7 wicket victory against Barrow and Fllettwood's defeat at Blackpool.
In Division 2 Netherfield edge two points in ahead of Leyland
Andrew Cook playing for Darwen at Barrow had a bad leg injury bowling his second over yseterday and we send our best wishes and hope for a speedy recovery
DIVISION ONE:
Blackpool v Fleetwood:
Blackpool defeated Fleetwood at Stanley Park by 4 wickets. Fleetwood batting first were reduced to 137 with captain making a fighting 37 and Blackpool professional Christi Viljeon taking 6-52.
Blackpool were indebted to Andy Furniss batting at no 6 for his 47no and Stphen Twist 34 saw them home on 139 - 6. Juan-Pierre De Villiers 5-53, his second 5 wicket haul of the weekend could not prevent a Blackpool victory
Darwen v Barrow:
Darwen registered their fourth vivtory out of four with their 7 wicket win against Barrow at Bich Hall. Barrow were bowled out for 143 thanks to Professional Kaustubh Pawar 39 and Rhys Studt 34. Kamran Anwar taking 5-47 ably supported by George Linde with 3-50
In a rain interruted 2nd innings Darwen scored the required runs under the D/L Rules making 104-3 to win. Chris Clarke 36 no and John Cordingley 34 set up the Darwen victory
Kendal v Morecambe:
Kendal won the toss and asked Morecambe to bat first. Morecambe were all out in the 49th over for 67 with Josh Dixon 20 and Ryan Pearson 11 the only players to reach double figures. Nick Lewthwaite 4-10 and Chris Miller 4-27 did the damage for Kendal
The openers Ben Harrison 24 and Darren Moore 23 with a partnership of 32 to set Kendal on their way to victory ending at 70 - 3 in the 20th over
Lancaster v Chorley:
The Match was abandoned by the Umpires as the pitch was unfit for play
Leyland v Preston:
Preston were invited to bat and were bowled out in the 44th over for 128, Sarfarz Navaz Patel their top scorer with 50. Spinner Tayyab Afsar with 5-19 was Leyland's best bowler
Leyland's reply was emphatic, knocking off the runs for the loss of only one wicket reaching thier winning total of 134 - 1 with Chris Parkinson 85no and Alex Ross 48no
Penrith v Netherfield:
Penrith battered first and made 199 - 9 with Alex Atkinson 70 leading the way. Netherfield's innings was curtailed due bad light being 114-5 at close of play Ben Phillips making 42

Barrow defeated Darwen by 126 runs thanks to a man of the match performance by Ian Allington. Batting first Barrow registered the score of 188 - 6, Ian Allington 64 and Glen Kermode 58 with Patrick Allington 38no
Darwen started their innings knowing they had only 10 batsmen having lost Andrew Cook to a bad leg injury, They were all out for 62-9 Gary Jackson 18 top scored and Ian Allington had figures of 6-8

Chorley were awarded the match and 15 points due to Lancaster not being able to raise a team
Fleetwood v Blackpool:
Fleetwood were asked to bat first and made 122 Wayne Clarke top scoring with 30 and Sam Owen taking 4-29. Blackpool knocked off the runs in the 36th over Sam Owen 52no and Joshua Boyne 32 no seeing them home after the loss of early wickets
