DIVISION ONE:
Chorley v Fleetwood:
Fleetwood defeated Chorley by 4 wickets at Windsor Park, Chorley batting first closing on 189-5. David Fisher top scoring with 66 off 114 balls, whilst Ian Dickinson was unbeaten on 54 off 50 balls. Adam Parker returning figures of 2-56.
Mat Clark's team knocked the runs off in 41.3 overs closing on 194-6. Fleetwood's sub professional top scoring with 66 off 78 balls aided by Adam Parker with 57 off 55 balls. Keiran Mc Cullagh returned figures of 4-56.
Kendal v Lancaster:
Kendal overcame Lancaster by 8 wickets at Shap Road. Lancaster were all out for 170 in 49.1 overs. Michael Barry with a century as he top scored with 107 off 156 balls. Adam Cowperthwaite ripping through the visitors returning figures of 4-56.
In reply Kendal knocked the runs off in just 23 overs. Jamie How top scoring with 95 off just 47 balls. Darren Moore was an unbeaten with 55 off 69 balls as Kendal cruised to victory.
Leyland v St Annes:
Leylands reign as Northern Cricket League holders was over despite defeating St Annes by 127 runs. The hosts batting first posted an imposing 234-7 on the board. Luis Reece top scoring with 93 off 126 balls and Nathan Mc Donnell with 78 off 85 balls.
St Annes were all out for 107 in 32.2 overs, Toby Bulcock with 43 off 45 balls. Karl Cross returning figures of 4-55. Luis Reece 3-34, and Steven Pallett returning figures of 3-1.
Netherfield v Darwen
There were 3 centuries at Parkside Road, as Darwen had to settle for a winning draw in a high scoring encounter at Netherfield.
Darwen electing to bat closed on a high scoring total of 308-4 off 50 0vers. George Linde top scoring with 112 off just 98 balls. Linde's knock included 10 fours and 7 sixes. Christopher Clarke was unbeaten on 105 off 112 balls.
George Linde and Chris Clarke had a 3rd wicket partnership of 142 in 24.4 overs.
Netherfield held on for a losing draw as they closed on 195-9. Marc Brown top scoring with 101 off 107 balls.
Penrith v Blackpool:
Blackpool Cricket Club win The First Division Northern Cricket League Championship for 2014 after defeating Penrith by 87 runs.
Paul Danson's team surged to the title in style going on an unbeaten League run of 20 games. In fact the last time Blackpool tasted a league defeat was back on the 3rd May when they lost at Chorley.
With Blackpool knowing that victory at Penrith would seal the title, they were asked to bat first by the hosts as they closed on a dominating score of 250-8.
Steven Croft who was Sub Professional, following the departure of Christi Viljeon, batted well for 57, with Richard Gleeson scoring 53.
However it was the batting of Steven Twist that took the innings away from the hosts as he top scored with a stunning 82 off just 69 balls.
Penrith who have had a mixed season, got most their rewards out of Professional Paul Hindmarch who returned figures of 4-70.
With 250 to defend, Blackpool closed in on the League title as they bowled Penrith out for 163 in 42 overs.
Richard Gleeson ripping through the hosts with figures of 5-41. Penrith did frustrate the visitors mainly through the batting of Ryan Carruthers who top scored with 54 off 47 balls.
However when Samuel Hall was stumped by Ben Howarth off the bowling of Steven Croft, Blackpool celebrated in style as they were crowned Northern Cricket League winners.
Preston v Morecambe
Preston defeated Morecambe by 72 runs at West Cliff. Preston declaring on 228-6. Sajid Patel with 73 and Soyeb Dukanwala with 72. Yakub Bhamji had figures of 3-72 for Morecambe.
Morecambe were all out for 156 in 42.3 overs, Saeed Bariwala returning figures of 4-54 and Yasin Patel with 4-35. Kelly Smuts was Morecambe's top scorer with 40.

Leyland v Lancashire Colts
Leyland won the toss and elected to bat making 232-8 in their 50overs thanks to Chris Parkinson 65 and an unbeaten 59 from Andrew Makinson. Ben Saunders took 6-69 for the Colts
In reply the Colts innings followed a simalar patten with Will Hale71 and Matthew Critchley 54no their main scoring batsmen and the Colts closed on 210-8. Henry Thompson was Leyland's most productive bowler with 4-61
Preston v Chorley
Chorley won the toss and asked Preston to bat. Preston were bowled out for 158 in 45 overs. Sajid Patel 33, Jibran Khan 24 and captain saeed Bariwala batting at no 8 with 27 were Preston's main contributors. Gaurav Dhar took 5-36 for Chorley
In reply Chorley were bowled out for 131-9 (only had 10 players). Jack Catterall 32, Mohammed Jamal 27 and David Fisher 25 leading the fight for victory which was ended in the 38th over. Saeed Bariwala the leading amateur wicket taket took 5-48

It was a winning draw for Blackpool at Stanley Park, Blackpool declared on 201-7. Sam Owen top scoring with 41. Robbie White returning figures of 3-46 for Penrith.
Penrith held on at 126-8. Neil Atkinson with an unbeaten 46. Ben Eckton returning figures of 3-39.
Darwen v Netherfield:
Netherfield won by 7 wickets at Darwen. Darwen were restricted to 145-8. Theo Gallagher returning figures of 3-22.
The visitors knocking the runs off in 35.2 overs, Brendan Herron the top scorer with an unbeaten 80 as Netherfield close on 146-3.

Preston won the toss and asked Chorley to bat. They were bowled out in the 43rd over reaching 212 thanks to Alex Weetman 79, Alexander Holdsworth 61 and 32 from Ian Oakes batting at no 8. Ahmed Mansoor with 3-33 was Preston's best bowler
In reply Preston were all out for 110 in 35.3 overs with Sohail Saiyed 44 their top scorer and Ben Milnes taking 4-19 for Chorley
