DIVISION ONE:

Barrow v Leyland:

Leyland had to settle for a winning draw at Barrow. David Makinson's team batting first closed on an imposing total of 243-5.

Australian Overseas Amateur Alex Ross hitting a top scoring 93 off 104 balls, whilst Henry Thompson posted a score of 83 off 99 balls. Barrow's Graham Dawson and Daryl Wearing taking two wickets.

In reply Barrow were thankful to Sam Dutton who hit an unbeaten 120 off 128 balls, as Barrow closed on 190-6. David Makinson returning figures of 3-27.

Blackpool v Lancashire Colts:

Blackpool close in on Leyland after an 8 wicket win over the Lancashire Colts. The Colts closing on 186-7. Will Hale with 55 and Matthew Critchley with 54. Richard Gleeson returning figures of 3-55.

The hosts knocked the runs off in 35.1 overs closing on 188-2. Christi Viljeon 72 off 62 balls and Paul Danson with 63 off 96 balls.

Darwen v Lancaster:

Darwen barred first at Birch Hall and made 214-8 in their 50 overs. Professional George Linde opened and made 90 ably supported by John Cordingley with 35. Tom Whitehouse had figures of 5-41 and Michael Barry 3-68

Lancaster were bowled out in 32.4 for 107. Michael Barry with 42, Danny Welbourne 20 and Alex Metcalfe 14 the only batsmen to reach double figures. Kamran Anwar 5-43 and George Linde 4-45 did the damage

Fleetwood v Morecambe:

Fleetwood were left frustrated as they had to settle for a winning draw against Morecambe. Fleetwood batting first closed on 205-6. Juan De Villiers with an unbeaten 72 off 60 balls. Adam Parker with 63 off 107 balls.

Morecambe closing on 191-7. Ryan Pearson with 43, Lewis Edge, Ikram Ullah and Jordan Willoughby all made 40. Juan De Villiers with figures of 3-33.

Kendal v Penrith:

Jamie How continued his dominance in the batting stats as he hit a dominating 169 not out off just 119 balls, as Kendal defeated Penrith by 78 runs.

Kendal batting closed on a record score for Shap Road of 307-2. Young 17 year old Richard Herron also opening and showing his composure with 90 off 119 balls.

Penrith were bowled out for 229 in 48.2 overs. Greg Hall with 78 off 76 balls and Alex Atkinson with 52 off 39 balls, Darren Nightingale had 4-40 and Adam Cowperthwaite with 3-60.

Netherfield v St Annes:

Netherfield defeated St Annes by 5 wickets at Parkside Road. St Annes decided to bat and closed on 169-6. They had the batting of Toby Bulcock to thank for the competitive total as he hit an unbeaten 86 off 100 balls. Mark Clarkson returning figures of 3-38.

The hosts seeing the game home in 49,1 overs closing on 170-5. Marc Brown with 51 off 95 balls, John Huck with 42 off 76 balls. Saliya Saman hitting an unbeaten 29 off 45 balls seeing the game home for the hosts.

Lancaster v Darwen:

Lancaster defeated Darwen by 4 runs in a low scoring contest at Lune Road. The hosts seemingly with no chance as they were bowled out for 74 in 30.2 overs. Christian Davies with figures of 3-17.

In reply, Nathan Baxter's 5-11 ripped through Darwens batting as they were bowled out for 70 in 37 overs.

Leyland v Barrow:

Leyland closed with a winning draw against Barrow. The host team closing on 230-7, Tom Reece with 65, Ross Bretherton with 58. Sam Henderson returning figures of 3-41 for the visitors.

Barrow closing on 139-8, Guy Heffernen with 60, Alex Williams returning figures of 4-45 for the hosts.

Morecambe v Fleetwood:

Morecambe had to settle for a winning draw with Fleetwood at Wood Hill Lane. Lewis Smith top scoring with 83 as Morecambe close on 195-8. Anthony Ellison had figures of 4-36 for Fleetwood.

Fleetwood closing on 114-8, Andy Singleton top scoring with 28. Gareth Pedder returning figures of 4-20

Penrith v Kendal:

Penrith win by 13 runs against Kendal. The hosts were all out for 127. Chris Toward with 57, whilst Andrew Dugdale returned figures of 6-27.

In reply, Kendal were all out for 114 in 36.3 overs, Shane Hyland top scoring with 48. Nick Hodgson returning figures of 4-26 and Samuel Hall had figures of 3-38.

St Annes v Netherfield:

St Annes toppled Netherfield by 5 wickets, Netherfield were all out for 165 in 42.1 overs. Matthew Goodall with 57 off 65 balls. Kevin Reid with figures of 3-33 for the hosts.

St Annes seeing the game home in 41.2 overs thanks to Alex Naylor with 83 off 73 balls and David Bartholomew 41. Stuart Nixon with figures of 3-53.
