All of The Bank Holiday Northern League Fixtures were washed out due to persistant rain fall, making it a very miserable Bank Holiday Monday for All Northern League Clubs.
Darwen's 2nds team clash with Chorley actually started, however the game only lasted 12 overs before the rain came down again.
Chorley on 33-1, Rowan Mitcham unbeaten on 16, whilst Ian Mawdesley fell for 9 thanks to the bowling of Sohaib Naseer, with Matthew Painter taking the catch.
John Hotham with an unbeaten 6 before the game was called off.
The local derby clash between Netherfield and Kendal was called off mid afternoon, the players turned up and waited, however both Marc Brown (Netherfield Captain) and Chris Miller (Kendal Captain) both agreed that the game had no chance of being played
Netherfield's 1st team have only played 1 home league game all season, seeing their other 3 home games rained off
