The race for the Division One title will go into the final day of the season as both Barrow and Leyland got winning draws, the season is set for an exciting finish
BARROW V NETHERFIELD
Sub Professional Daniel Salpietro hit a stunning 105 off 145 balls ,and returned figures of 4-61 as Barrow had to settle for a winning draw with Netherfield.
The hosts recovering well from 21-2, closed on 224-6, Salpietro and Michael Wellings 72 off 116 balls, saving the innings, after both Ryan Brown and Dean Williams went early.
Daniel Salpietro was run out by Chris Parry and his innings included 13 fours, whilst Michael Wellings hit 8 fours
Stuart Nixon 2-29, Nathan Chambers 1-59. and Colin Ackermann 1-70 were Netherfield's wicket takers with 2 run outs
In reply Netherfield fell to 14-3 in double quick time and were never in it as they closed on 120-8, 3 overs were lost due to rain reducing the game to 47 overs.
Greg Hall batting well for 35 off 63 balls, and Chris Parry with 28 off 41 balls lead the fight back, but when they were out Scott Clement and Nathan Chambers were left to block out the game as Netherfield held on.

LEYLAND V KENDAL
Leyland also had a winning draw with Kendal. Kendal played well and bowled the hosts out for 170 with Chris Parkinson 47 off 68 balls and Sub professional Mohammed Zaman Kahn scoring 38 off 61 balls were Leyland's main run makers. Nick Lewthwaite taking 4-36 and Chris Miller 2-33 were Kendal's best bowlers
In reply Pieter Malan lead the chase with 72 off 114 balls with good contributions from Ryan Nelson 33 off 101 balls,and Gary Baker with 20 off 39 balls who kept Kendal in the hunt but they were 7 runs short closing on 163-6,
David Makinson the Leyland captain had their best bowling figures taking 3-50.
PRESTON V LANCASTER
Lancaster's Danny Welbourne rolled back the years with an unbeaten 130 as Lancaster eased to a 93 run victory at Preston.
Wellers was in relentless form, whilst Jannisar Kahn also batted well for 67 as Lancaster declared on 230-2 in the 46th over.
Preston in reply were all out for 137 in 40.4 overs, Soyeb Dukanwala and Miya Ahmed Lunat both scoring 38 runs.
Lancaster Skipper Ben Simm taking 4-37 , Matthew Liver 3-24 and Iain Burstoe 3-21 bowled Lancaster to victory.
ST ANNES V DARWEN
Darwen pulled off a 13 run victory over St Annes, After a slow start 90 off 30 overs Darwen attacked the bowling to make 196-8 off 50 overs, Chris Lowe with 48 off 51 balls, John Cordingley 45 off 83 balls and Neil Cordingley scored an unbeaten 31 off 56 balls. Toby Bulcock taking 3-38 had the best figures for the host's.
St Annes also made a slow start and captain Andy Kellett 45 off 72 balls held the innings together with Sajid Nalbandh 47 off 58 balls. When they were out Callum Jones 35 off 41 balls and Alex Naylor 27 off 27 balls. Took the game to Darwen but were all out for 183 in 49th over
Alan Kruger taking 4-77, John Cordingley 2-42 put Darwen in a strong positon but Chris Wade with 3-23 bowled well at the end to remove both Naylor and Jones to secure victory for the visitors
Neil Bradley of St Annes played his last Northern League game, he played his first game in 1986.
FLEETWOOD V MORECAMBE
Fleetwood had to settle for a winning draw with Morecambe, the hosts who didn't have a professional declared on 230-5 off 49.5 overs
Naveed Yousaf 84 off 81 balls, Adam Parker 63 off 73 balls, and Joe Bell with 45 off 84 balls.
In reply Morecambe held on closing on 180-6, Ryan Smith unbeaten on 75 off 112 balls and Josh Dixon with 53 off 92 balls. Joe Bell 3-33 was Fleetwood's best bowler

BLACKPOOL V CHORLEY
Chorley defeated Blackpool by 5 wickets, Richard Gleeson opening the batting scored 101 off 142 for the hosts as Blackpool closed on 171-8 off 50 overs. Iain Critchley bowling well with figures of 4-27 for Chorley
Chorley knocking the runs off in 48.4 overs, Gaurav Dhar with an unbeaten 60 off 85 balls and Ian Dickinson with 42 off 99 balls. For Blackpool there were 2 wickets each for Steven Mercer and Andy Furniss.
MORECAMBE V LANCASHIRE COLTS
Morecambe defeated the Lancashire Colts by 6 wickets in the Sunday fixture at Woodhill Lane.
The Colts all out for 152 their top scorer being Daniel Lamb with 41 off 76 balls. Tommy Clough and James Law bowled all through and each 5 wickets.
In reply Morecambe knocked the runs off in 40.2 overs closing on 153-4. Josh Dixon with 46 making a platform for the win

Division 2 Round Up:
Morecambe lead by 13 points and only need 2 points to win the Second Division Title as both Barrow and Leyland slipped up.
MORECAMBE V FLEETWOOD
Morecambe eased to a 8 wicket win over Fleetwood, Ayush Sharma with 6-19 was Fleetwood destroyer as they were all out for 83 in 35.2 overs. Wayne Clarke top scoring with 31.
The hosts took only 26.2 overs to reach their taget of 85-2 with Ayush Sharma 30 and Gulam Maje 29 setting up the win then Matthew Derham's unbeaten 15 seeing Morecambe home.

NETHERFIELD V BARROW
Barrow suffered a surprise 69 run defeat to Netherfield at Parkside Road. The hosts all out for 186 in 40.3 overs. Brendan Herron with 69 and Stuart Dixon teed off with a quick fire 28. Patrick Allington taking 3-54 for the visitors.
Barrow all out for 117 in 35.1 overs only Toby Mowat with 35 offering any resistance and Stuart Dixon with outstanding figures of 4-9 doing the damage
KENDAL V LEYLAND
It was the shock of the season at Shap Road as Kendal defeated Leyland by 1 wicket in a thrilling contest.
Leyland declaring on 200-7 in 42 overs. Tom Reece with 58 off 72 balls, and Sam Oldham with an unbeaten 37 off 57 balls. Darren Nightingale with 3-42 for Kendal
Kendal edging home in 47.4 overs, The runs were spread amongst the team Nick Phillips 38 off 44 balls,Oliver Field 30 off 27 balls and Stuart Nelson with 22 off 17 balls.
Marcus Hill winning it with an unbeaten 14 off 21 and Ryan Nightingale with 4 off 11.
Jake Peake taking 4-33, and Andrew Jacques with 3-44 doing their best to achieve a Leyland victory

DARWEN V ST ANNES
St Annes won by 2 wickets at Darwen. The hosts closing on 108-7 off 45 overs. Zac Whalley with 26, Sam Painter 25 and Ian Bateson 24. Richard Thomas taking 3-6 in his 12 overs
St Annes took 35.1 overs to gain their victory total of 109-8. Luke Wilks and Jake Higson both with 28. Graham Ainslie taking 4-30 and Zac Whalley with 3-36 making St Annes fight for their win
CHORLEY V BLACKPOOL
Blackpool beat Chorley by 5 wickets. Chorley batting first were all out for 97. Michael Tidmas and Ash Moreau took 3 wickets each for Blackpool
The visitors knocked the runs off in 30 overs closing on 101-5. Daniel Dixon with 25 and Matthew Houston with 23.
LANCASTER V PRESTON
Lancaster won by 2 wickets against Preston. Preston were all out in 37.2 overs for 119. Syed Ajmal Abbas Shah their top scorer with 41 Tom Burrow had figures of 5-33 for Lancaster
Lancaster were made to fight for their win and reached their taget of 120-8 off 46.3 overs Rik Ghosh closing on 31 off 56.
