Barrow had Darwen all out for 26 in 18.2 overs, a stunning score as Darwen went in at the rain break at 21-2 When the rain stopped play 18 overs were lost and Ian Allington brought himself and Glen Kermode into the bowling attack. A decision which paid dividends, as 6 overs later Darwen were all out for 26, with the added runs all extras. 8 of the Darwen batsmen were out without scoring Glen Kermode took 5 wickets without conceding a run and had the outstanding figures of 3 overs 3 maidens 0 runs 5 wickets Barrow raced to a winning total of 30 - 2 in 5.1 overs, Toby Mowat 14 and Ian Allington 10 their main scorers. Andrew Cook took 2 wickets for the hosts.
