League leaders Barrow suffered a shock defeat at Netherfield, whilst Leyland couldn't get the full 15 points as they had to settle for a winning draw at Kendal.
Lancaster continue to shine as they win yet another game, whilst Fleetwood climb the table in victory at Morecambe in another busy afternoon of Northern League Cricket
DIVISION ONE
Netherfield v Barrow
Barrow come away with no points as they lost by 8 wickets to Netherfield at Parkside Road.
Netherfield on the back of 3 straight league defeats opted to put the leaders in as they were restricted to 129-7.
Barrow did offer resistance through the partnership of Jonathan Wells (38 off 52 balls), and Ryan Brown (21 off 54 balls).
Their was also a flurry of runs from Greg Reynolds with an unbeaten 34 off 71 balls.
Colin Ackermann returned figures of 3-27, whilst Brad Airey (2-23) and Nathan Chambers (1-44) also impressed.
Netherfield saw the game out in 24.1 overs, Ben Barrow 51 off 72 balls and John Huck 59 off 43 balls.
Kendal v Leyland
Leyland had to settle for a winning draw in their game at Kendal. David Makinson's team were seemingly on the verge of victory with Kendal 9 wickets down chasing the Leyland total of 155.
However Chris Miller's unbeaten 44 off 72 balls and Adam Cowperthwaites 20 off 47 balls, gave Kendal a chance of victory.
In the end Kendal could needed 8 from the last over and then 4 from two balls, however they could only manage a single as they fell short of the win
Earlier Leyland were in trouble, at 74-7, but Karl Cross's 72 off 79 balls helped Leyland to 155
Adam Cowperthwaite had figures of 4-42, Jack White 3-54 and Nick Lewthwaite 3-19
Darwen v St Annes
Darwen picked up a creditable winning draw against inform St Annes at Birch Hall. the hosts put in and were all out for 149 in 46 overs.
Gareth Cordingley with an unbeaten 42 and John Cordingley also made crucial runs with 36.
St Annes Professional Toby Bulcock with figures of (4-41) and Matthew Grindley with (3-47).
In reply, St Annes closed on 135-8 off 46 overs in a rain reduced game. Toby Bulcock wasn unbeaten on 73.

Morecambe v Fleetwood
Fleetwoods good run of form continues after defeating Morecambe by 64 runs at Woodhill Lane.
The visitors making 176 for 8 off 50 overs, Naveed Yousaf top scoring with 61 and Dean Bell with 37.

Morecambe were all out for 112 in 41.5 overs, Kieran McGann with 4-5 and Ian Holland with 3-58. Vishal Tripathi batting in vein for 35 off 57 balls.

Chorley v Blackpool
Chorley defeated Blackpool by 29 runs at Windsor Park, the game reduced to 47 overs.
The hosts batting first closing on 198-7 withJack Bentham making 63 off 90 balls. Steven Mercer with 5-56 was Blackpool's best bowler
Blackpool's problems continue as they were bowled out for 169 in 46.3 overs. Alex Smith top scoring with 41 off 97 balls.

Preston v Lancaster
Lancaster continue their good run of form following a 1 wicket win over Preston at Lune Road
Preston were all out for 109 in 41.4 overs, Sub Professional Rehan Rafiq with 4-28, and Iain Perrieman 3-27 were Lancaster's main bowlers.
Mohsin Modhi was Prston's main run maker with 31, whilst Yasin Boda scored 28
Lacnaster were made to work for their win and they reached 112-9 in 41.5 overs, Sub Professional Rehan Rafiq with an unbeaten 47 helping the hosts to victory.
Preston's Javed Iqbal with 5-42 and Andrew Starkie 4-52 pushed Lancaster to the end

Chorley v Lancashire Colts
Chorley had a winning draw with the Lancashire Colts, Gaurav Dhar top scoring with 51 as Chorley are all out for 204 in 49.5 overs. Matthew Parkinson taking 5-49 for the visitors.
Lancashire Colts were on 161-7 at the close. Mark Waddington made 52 off 75 balls and David Fisher with 3-14 for the hosts

Barrow remain top with a comfortable 71 run victory over Netherfield at Ernest Pass, Peter Deeks their top scorer with 47, Michael Wellings 34, Lee Hogg 37 and Glen Kermode with 36 giving valuble support as Barrow made 206-5 in their 45 overs

Netherfield were all out for 135 in 40.5 overs. Mike Dugdale with 27 off 32 and Chesney Walling with 24 off 30 as the main resistance for the visitors. with Paul Riley taking 4-34 for the hosts.
Leyland v Kendal
Will Jacques took 7-3 as the defending champions demolished Kendal winning by 181 runs.
Leyland declaring on 203-3 in 40.2 overs, Jonathan Mote with 79 off 101 balls, and Ross Bretherton with an unbeaten 63 off 103 balls.

Blackpool v Chorley
Blackpool won by 3 wickets against Chorley at Stanley Park, Chorley were restricted to 134-8. Sam Owen with 4-28 doing the damage for Blackpool.
In reply Blackpool reached 135-7 in 42.4 overs. Matthew Houston with 50 off 111 balls. Chorley's Keiran McCullagh had figures of 5-38
Fleetwood v Morecambe
Morecambe won at Fleetwood by 51 runs. The visitors were all out for 162 in 44.3 overs. Phillip Dennison with an unbeaten knock of 60.
The main wicket takers for Fleetwood were Alex Ryder with 3-44 and Tom Wilson 3-32.
Fleetwood were all out in 35 overs for 111, Gulam Maje with 5-14 and Ryan Smith with 3-19.
Preston v Lancaster
Preston defeated Lancaster by 24 runs to pick up their first win of the season, Preston scored 153-9 in their alloted overs. Murtaza Hussain with 33 and Intekhab Alam 32 their leading run makers.
Lancaster were all out for 129 in 43.2 overs, Murtaza Hussain with 4-17 and Graham Dobson with 4-19.
St Annes v Darwen
St Annes got a winning draw with Darwen at Vernon Road. Charles Boucher with 54 as St Annes were all out for 169 in 43.3 overs. Greg Lawrenson taking 3-44 for the visitors.
