DIVISION 1 ROUND UP
The race for the title continues to be a three way battle as Barrow, Fleetwood and Kendal all picked up massive wins, as the season gets nearer to its conclusion
Netherfield v Barrow
Barrow remain top of Divison One after a three wicket win at Netherfield,, the hosts winning the toss and opting to bat posting 199-9.
Netherfield started brightly with both Chris Parry and Ben Haddrick in good touch as they reached 47, before losing Ben Haddrick for 26 off 51, as he fell to a Robin Adams catch off the bowling of Daryl Wearing.
The loss of Haddrick was a blow to Netherfield as he looked in good touch. Chris Parry then followed for 23 as Daryl Wearing claimed his 2nd wicket of the afternoon.
Netherfield made life hard for the league leaders as a third wicket partnership of 60 in 14.2 overs between John Mason and Marc Brown continued to frustrate.

John Mason who top scored with 61 off 68 was then run out, before Sub professional Mitchell Claydon fell for 18 when he was stumped by Chris D'leny off the bowling of Gary Collins.

Barrow started to take some control, as they removed Chris Williams, John Huck, Robbie Lambert and Marc Hadwin, as Daryl Wearing ended up with figures of 4-60, with Netherfield making 199-9
In reply Barrow were struggling on 86-3, with Sub Professional Pieter Malan posting 41 off 74 balls.
However Liam Livingstone's 48 got the visitors back on track, whilst Ryan Brown's unbeaten 65 off 95 balls guided Barrow home in 47 overs as they reached 200-6

A huge victory for Barrow, as they have a free week next weekend, before closing their season with a home game against Morecambe.

St Annes v Fleetwood
Fleetwood remain 2nd after a 45 run victory at St Annes, the visitors put in as they made in 211-7. Adam Parker with 75 and Mike Clinning with 62.
Dinuka Hettiarachchi made the break though and finnished with 5-79.
The reply was all about the bowling of Sam Bell as he picked up 9 wickets for 50 runs
Bells outstanding performance was too much for the hosts as they were all out for 166 in 48 overs. Atiq Uz Zaman making the main impression with a top score of 57
Chorley v Kendal
Kendal remain third after a 73 run victory at Chorley. A fantastic result for Chris Miller's team who were struggling at one stage on 9-3 in the first innings.
However the batting of Sub Professional Mike Smith saved the day as he hit a top score of 66 off 121 balls, leading to a recovery with Kendal closing on 144-8.
In reply Chorley were all out for 71, Jack White with 4-28 and Chris Miller with 3-13

Leyland v Lancaster
Leyland won by 152 runs against Lancaster at Fox Lane, the hosts declaring in the 46th over on 198-8. Daniel Lamb top scoring with 67 off 80 balls and Karl Cross with 52 off 89 balls.
Lancaster's Liam Moffat was their best bowler with 5-58
The visitors all out for 46 in 22 overs, Brett Pelser with 4-27, Daniel Lamb with 3-3. and Liam Hurt with 1-15
Carnforth v Darwen
Darwen got a winning draw at Carnforth, Neil Cordingley with a second innings hat trick as he ended up with six wickets as Carnforth could only reach 185-8. Ryan Nelson top scoring with 73
Earlier Darwen's openers did the damage for the hosts as Alex Davies (62) and Shaun De Kock (61) helped the visitors to 243-4. Tim Le Breton ending unbeaten on 49 and John Cordingley with 47.
The Carnforth professional Toby Bulcock finnished with 4-65.

Their is only two points in it at the top as both Leyland and Barrow continue to battle it out for the title.
Barrow v Netherfield
Barrow had to make do with a winning draw against Netherfield. The hosts being put in declaring on 182-6, Josh Tweddle with 49.
Netherfield's Marcus Hill returned with figures of 2-53
Josh Allington (3-40) and Patrick Allington (3-45), impressed however Netherfield held on as Mike Dugdale top scored with 46, with Steven Wilson scoring 27, as the visitors reached 158-7
Fleetwood v St Annes
In a match played at Preston's West Cliff, Fleetwood defeated St Annes by 5 wickets, St Annes all out for 114. Keiran Mc Gann with 4-28 and Anthony Ellison with 3-20.>
In reply Fleetwood eased home in 39.1 overs, Wayne Clarke with an unbeaten 45
Darwen v Carnforth
Darwen had a winning draw with Carnforth,the hosts posting 177-9, Graham Ainslie with 44 off 60.
In reply Carnforth closed on 119-8, Sohaib Nasser and Michael Horsfield with 3 wickets each as Carnforth's Wayne Tomlinson top scored with 27.
Blackpool v Morecambe
Morecambe batted first at Stanly Park and were bowled out for 104 with Ryan Pearson 27 and Michael Fisher the top scorers.
Ross Parker 3-3 and Kevin Reid 3-17 finnished off the Morecambe innings after Jamie Thompson 2-25 and Ben Eckton 2-43 did the early damage
Morecambe fought back and made Blackpool work for their victory, having the home side 79 - 7 but an undefeated 44 off 94 balls by Benjamin Heath saw Blackpool home
James Law 5-27 and Glynn Carroll were the Morecambe bowlers applying the pressure
Leyland's game at Lancaster was abandoned as was Kendal's game against Chorley.
