Kendal close in at the top as both Barrow and Fleetwood fall to the rain.
Preston v Kendal
Jamie How signed off with his time at Kendal with a win after helping his side to a 5 wicket win at Preston.
How who returns back to New Zealand put in an all round display at West Cliff taking 4-21 in the first innings dismissing the hosts for 121, and then hitting an unbeaten 49 in the second innings guiding Kendal to victory.
Preston, who won the toss and opted to bat, saw Sajid Patel top score with 35 and Soaib Dukanwala making an impression with 34 runs.
However for Kendal to bowl out a difficult Preston side for 121 was impressive, with Chris Miller also impressing with figures of 3-33.
In reply Kendal got off to a slow start, until How's unbeaten knock led the recovery, with Kendal reaching 122-5 in 30.4 overs.

Kendal have now put themselves in with a chance of winning the league, as all eyes are now set on the bank holiday weekend games with leaders Barrow before the local derby at Netherfield on Bank Holiday Monday.
Netherfield v Chorley
Netherfield picked up a much needed win after defeating Chorley by 7 wickets in a rain reduced game at Parkside Road.
Following rain overnight and into the morning, the game didn't get underway till 2.31pm, giving the outfield a chance to dry. When play started the game was reduced to 37 overs aside
Chorley winning the toss and opting to bat, as Netherfield restricted the visitors to 125-6, Chris Williams with 4-35. Chorley's Iain Critchley the top scorer with 63 off 88 balls.

In reply Netherfield eased home in 32.5 overs, with John Huck top scoring with an unbeaten 63 off 59.

Darwen v Leyland
Leyland defeated Darwen by 68 runs in a rain affected encounter at Birch Hall. The game reduced to 42 overs, Leyland opting to bat as they were all out for 123
Daniel Lamb with 30 off 61, with Darwen's Chris Wade taking 5-48
The hosts were shot out in their reply in 16.4 overs for 55, Brett Pelser with 5-18 and Luis Reece 5-35 doing the damage.
Blackpool v Fleetwood, Lancaster v Barrow and Morecambe s St Annes all falling to the rain. With the wickets at Lancaster and Morecambe both underwater.
Barrow are still top with Fleetwood second as both sides take 4 points each.

Leyland are at the top of Division 2 following a 40 run win over Darwen. Leyland all out for 116, James Rounding their top scorer with 57 off 58 balls.

Barrow v Lancaster
Barrow were left frustrated with a winning draw in their home game with Lancaster. The game reduced to 35 overs thanks to the rain
Ian Allington's team reaching 112-7 Skipper Allington (26 off 62 balls ) ,Tom Milligan (29 off 61 balls) and George Smith (21 off 27 balls).

Chorley v Netherfield
Chorley made light work of Netherfield defeating the Parkside Road outfit by 9 wickets at Windsor Park.
The visitors all out for 73 in 30.5 overs,Michael Mead with 4-24.
Dave Edwards unbeaten 51 off 59 balls guiding the hosts home in 18.1 overs, reaching 75-1.
